Kemangi (Ocimum basilicum L.) merupakan salah satu tanaman yang memiliki aktivitas antibakteri. Salah satu kandungan kemangi yang diduga memiliki aktivitas antibakteri yaitu minyak atsiri. Penelitian terkait aktivitas antibakteri pada kemangi sebagian besar dilakukan dengan menggunakan sampel segar maupun simplisia dari daun kemangi yang kemudian diekstraksi, namun ada beberapa uji  yang menggunakan bagian batang. Metode uji aktivitas antibakteri kemangi terhadap beberapa bakteri gram positif dan gram negatif dilakukan dengan metode difusi cakram agar, difusi cakram kertas, mikrodilusi broth, mikrodilusi dalam microtiter plates, difusi sumuran agar, dan macro-dilusi. Pengembangan cangkang kapsul keras dari bahan alam sedang menjadi trend saat ini, namun cangkang kapsul keras dari bahan baku pati mudah rapuh tanpa plasticizer. Madu dapat digunakan sebagai plasticizer untuk meningkatkan elastisitas kapsul agar tidak mudah pecah atau rapuh. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh penambahan pati kulit kentang dengan berbagai konsentrasi terhadap karakteristik fisik cangkang kapsul keras dan pengaruh madu sebagai plasticizer pengganti gliserol. Cangkang kapsul keras dibuat dengan penambahan pati dengan berbagai konsentrasi 0% (FI), 2% (FII), 4% (FIII), 6% (FIV), 8% (FV) dengan penambahan madu 2,5%, Karagenan 2 %, sukrosa 2,5% dan aquadest ditambahkan 100%. Cangkang kapsul keras dibuat secara manual dengan cara mencelupkan cetakan ke dalam larutan masing-masing formula kemudian di oven. Karakteristik fisik cangkang kapsul keras dievaluasi dan dibandingkan dengan cangkang kapsul keras komersial nomor 0 (nol). Most of the elderly with diabetes mellitus in Indonesia are aged 60-74 years (83.3%) who have a decreased ability to swallow drugs. In addition, antidiabetic drugs are expected to be able to produce fast action, so that it can reduce blood sugar levels immediately. Therefore, the Avicennia fruit ethanol extract formulated in the form of Orally Disintegrating Tablet (ODT). The aim of this study was to determine the effect of Starch 1500 and Crospovidone as a superdisintegrant in either single or combination use in the Avicennia fruit ethanol extract ODT formulation. The ODT was made by direct compression. There were three formulas that was carried out in this study : FI with 10 mg of Starch 1500, FII with 10 mg of Crospovidone and FIII with a combination of superdisintegrant Starch 1500 and Crospovidone (7 mg and 3 mg). The bioactive compounds in red ginger are dominated by the terpene group which has the ability to inhibit the action of Angiotensin Converting Enzyme (ACE-inhibitor). The interaction between ACE-inhibitory peptides can be predicted by the in silico method. The in silico method was used to predict the interaction and binding energy between bioactive compounds in red ginger ethanol extract (ligand) and ACE protein (receptor) which acts as an antihypertensive. The results of GC-MS obtained as many as 5 compounds (zingiberene, farnesene, ß -sesquiphellandrene, alpha-curcumene and trans-beta-farnesene. The docking results showed the lowest binding energy values ​​for each compound sequentially for ACE-trans beta farnesene, ACE-alpha curcumene, ACE-zingiberene, ACE-farnesene, ACE-beta sesquiphellandrene are -5.14 kcal/mol, -5.61 kcal/mol , -6.20 kcal/mol, -5.66 kcal/mol, and -6.55 kcal/mol. This study was aimed to implement compartmental modeling analysis for in vitro permeation studies in transdermal delivery. The cumulative drug transported versus time were obtained based on the previous report and implemented the two structural different proposed models. WinSAAM software (Windows-based Simulation Analysis and Modeling-WinSAAM Project Group, University of Pennsylvania) was used to analyze data with compartmental analysis. The chosen models were selected through visual and numeric evaluation. The best model had been chosen and could figure out the drug transport kinetics in the biological system. In the processing of loin, fillet and tuna steak, ± 10% of flaked meat is produced which can be used for processing commercial products. Spaghetti is one of the commercial products that is easily processed with raw materials and additives that are cheap and easy to obtain as well as halal and thoyib. The raw materials used are tuna flakes, spaghetti noodles and seasonings. The research objective was to analyze the chemical composition of tuna flakes and tuna topping spaghetti as well as the added value and level of consumer preference. This research uses laboratory methods, the percentage of additional selling value and consumer preferences. Proximate chemical composition of tuna flakes, namely: water content (74.80 - 75.25%); protein (16.35 - 17.00%); fat (1.43 - 1.50%); minerals (5.38 - 5.45%); carbohydrates (0.65 - 0.80%). Chemical composition of tuna topping spaghetti, namely: water content (62.73 - 69.13%); protein (7.08 - 8.34%); fat (0.42 - 0.76%); minerals/ash (0.93 - 1.16%) and carbohydrates (24.41 - 25.54%). The added value of tuna flakes in the processing of tuna topping spaghetti for two packages of spaghetti noodles (18 portions) is Rp. 147,355 (80.79%). In general, DM occurs when the pancreas doesn't produce enough insulin, or when the body can't effectively use the insulin which it produces. The use of medicinal plants to treat various diseases has shown minimal side effects. Indonesia is one of the countries that has used plants as traditional medicine since ancient times. In Indonesia, thousands of species of medicinal plants have been studied to address health problems. Among the medicinal plants that have been studied is the Neem plant (Azadirachta indica A. Juss) which has been shown to cure various diseases. This review article describes the potential of the Neem plant as an antidiabetic. The proximate analysis of C.albidum seeds was performed to determine its nutritional benefits to mankind. Agar diffusion tests using Disc diffusion for the pure oils and soaps while the cup plate test method for dilutions was used in the determination of in-vitro activities. Standard methods as described by AOAC, (1990); AOAC, (1984) and Kjeldahl method described by Chang (2003) were used for proximate determinations. The results show the activity of the oil against Klebsiella pneumonia at a concentration as low as 10 mg/ml. The ash-soap of the leaves shows the highest antimicrobial activities because its MIC is the closest to the standard, Streptomycin. It possesses activity against Escherichia coli and Klebsiella pneumonia at a concentration as low as 5mg/ml. The % proximate analysis composition shows Moisture content, Ash content, Crude Fibre, fat/Oil, Protein, Carbohydrates as follows (14.98, 1.90, 2.09, 2.38, 12.14 and 67.65)%. Palm oil is usually used for food, cosmetic industry, chemical industry, and animal feed industry. Increasingly open insight and increasing consumer awareness of the importance of food safety and quality assurance supported by technological developments and laboratory analysis methods, new types of contaminants in food products are also found. Currently, the Indonesian government is facing challenges regarding the issue of 3-monochloro-1,2-propanediol ester (3-MCPD Ester) and glycidyl ester (GE) in palm oil which can hamper Indonesia's palm oil trade in the future. The practice in the field affects the quality of CPO and the retrieval of low-quality CPO is mixed with high-quality CPO. And the length of time the process of pumping CPO from reclaimed tanks to VCT affects the quality of CPO. Beberapa spesies dari genus tersebut dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai makanan dan obat tradisional di Asia Tenggara, termasuk Indonesia. Jenis yang banyak tumbuh di Indonesia yaitu Artocarpus altilis (sukun), Artocarpus camansi (kluwih), Artocarpus heterophyllus (nangka), Artocarpus integer (cempedak), dan Artocarpus odoratissimus (tarap). Tumbuhan tersebut memiliki potensi sebagai bahan obat dan punya nilai gizi yang tinggi. Review ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji perbedaan antar spesies, profil fitokimia, dan aktivitasnya sebagai antioksidan dari kelima tumbuhan tersebut. Narrative review ini ditulis berdasarkan penelusuran literatur yang berupa publikasi artikel penelitian yang ada di basis data Google Scholar, PubMed, dan Science Direct. Selain itu digunakan sumber pustaka lain berupa buku dan naskah tugas akhir untuk memperkaya isi artikel. Hasil kajian literatur terhadap 5 tumbuhan tersebut menunjukkan bahwa beberapa tumbuhan memiliki kemiripan morfologi daun walaupun secara fisik masih bisa dibedakan. Profil fitokimianya memiliki keunikan dengan kandungan utama berupa senyawa fenolik termasuk flavonoid, stilbenoid, arilbenzofuron, dan neolignan yang tersebar pada bagian daun, buah, bunga, dan kulit. Keunikan tersebut ditemui dengan adanya senyawa golongan flavonoid terprenilasi dan tergeranilasi.
