In 3D-HEVC inter-coding, The quad-tree structure of coding unit (CU) partition supports different sizes from 64×64 to 8×8, namely, CU sizes. The CU partitioning process achieves the highest coding efficiency, but it brings an extremely large encoding time and a large computational complexity occurs which limits the 3D-HEVC encoder from practical applications. In this paper, an early termination of CU size is proposed for dependent views in 3D-HEVC depth map encoding. The proposed algorithm based on homogeneity classification of a depth map CU using an unsupervised classification algorithm. Based on the classification results, the proposed method determines whether a depth CU must be or not be split into smaller sizes. Experimental results show that the proposed approach can achieve a reduction of computational complexity for depth map encoding with a negligible reduction of coding performance.","PeriodicalId":313743,"journal":{"name":"2020 International Conference on Intelligent Systems and Computer Vision (ISCV)","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114709010","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In order to generate the WLAN (2.4/5.8GHz) and X-band (7.5 GHz) spectrums, the antenna slot structure is now in the form of a new fractal-like geometry on the first iteration. The Bluetooth (2.45 GHz) and WIMAX (3.5 GHz) bands are excited when the antenna is loaded respectively by a loop resonator and meandered shaped meta materials. The proposed antenna was simulated using both (CST MWS) and (HFSS) to verify against the obtained simulation results. This antenna has successfully demonstrated multiband and broadband characteristics. Simulation results show that the antenna gives an acceptable antenna gains over the resonant frequency signals. In addition, influence dimensions on the electromagnetic performance for the meandered-shaped and resonator and fractal circular slot for this structure are performed and implemented in detail this paper.","PeriodicalId":313743,"journal":{"name":"2020 International Conference on Intelligent Systems and Computer Vision (ISCV)","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124787780","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

To be more specific, the challenge of this work is to propose a novel system to assist people in developing good habits using deep learning techniques. To achieve this goal, we propose the use of Recurrent Neural Networks (RNN) and Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN). The two best-known supervised learning method. The first step consists of using a deep RNN neural network to perform the captioning of the user’s activities. Then use another deep CNN to do the classification of the activity based on the result of the first network and then decide whether what the user is doing is a good habit or not. To our knowledge, there is no previous work dealing with this topic through a computer science lens, and this will be of greater value to most of the people who are interested in developing new good habits. This system will also suggest new directions for basic and applied research on success in general and good habits in particular.","PeriodicalId":313743,"journal":{"name":"2020 International Conference on Intelligent Systems and Computer Vision (ISCV)","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129871865","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

He has several features that give it several advantages over other types of flying robots. But despite all its advantages, the quadrotor has a highly non-linear and fully dynamic coupled, hence the need for a robust and stable control. In this work, firstly, the Newton-Euler method is used to obtain the dynamics model of the quadrotor, nonlinear controllers based on the Lyapunov theory are designed. Secondly investigates the comparison between the three synthesis of nonlinear control strategies, including feedback linearization, backstepping and sliding mode control approaches. for the autonomous navigation of a quadrotor. The segmentation task is handled as a binary classification problem and it is solved by applying handcrafted texture features and traditional machine learning models. In this context, the paper studies the segmentation performance of the Local Binary Pattern (LBP) texture descriptor and nine of its variants. For the needs of the evaluation, a segmentation methodology and a corresponding experimental protocol is proposed, which are applied along with a benchmark retinal image dataset. The simulation results revealed that not all the LBP variants are appropriate for accurate extraction of the retinal arteries/veins morphology. The derived segmentation accuracy varies between 78%-91% (Support Vector Machine- SVM), S6%-92% (Decision Tree-DT), and 84%-92% (k-Nearest Neighbors - k-NN), with the Extended LBP (E-LBP) being the most informative descriptor.","PeriodicalId":313743,"journal":{"name":"2020 International Conference on Intelligent Systems and Computer Vision (ISCV)","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126021030","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Our model also combines Fintech to Takaful, which is an ethic insurance made of cooperation and solidarity. The idea of this paper is to simulate what we called “smart insurance”, in the software of multi-agent based simulation Netlogo. For this purpose, we are modeling a complex environment made by conventional companies and smart companies, having each specific characteristics, but also policyholders, as dynamic agents able to choose from the alternatives available in the market, according to a weighted decision making matrix. The weights depend on the agent’s type and coefficients are changing over time. We also take into consideration the fact that policyholders are partially influenced by each other and that a loyalty factor comes into play. More than that, we assume that companies evolve in a context of competition. Actually, it is an improved model, more realistic than a previous work in which we explained in details the suggested insurance model, but simulate only a basic scenario; some aspects were neglected for reasons of simplicity. In this paper, we simulate six different scenarios to evaluate the effect of many factors such as imitation, loyalty and competition, and get more reliable results.","PeriodicalId":313743,"journal":{"name":"2020 International Conference on Intelligent Systems and Computer Vision (ISCV)","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126089799","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

They are the most presenting and studying by the research; seen their advantages in terms of composition and movement. Within this type of vehicles, energy management is a fundamental tool to ensure smooth operation during the rolling cycle, while optimizing available energy sources and even predicting future power demand. This paper proposes a method of optimization and prediction of energy based on the Markov chains. The work requires the development of a suitable system to control the electric model of powertrain: the Electric motor and the Hybrid Electric Source (HES). The given studied vehicle has a HES to processing in real-time. It is, therefore, interesting to define a flexible and fast management system, which can process the available sub-components. We use, therefore, a multi-agent system (MAS) to intelligently manage the available energy in a Fuel Cell (FC) and Super-capacitor (SC). During the simulation stage, we seek to apply an online prediction and see how the system reacts in terms of optimized power.
