The city was also highlighted from its margins, in view of the locality where the fishermen's colony is located, as well as its places of residence, which are mostly located in the outskirts of the city. Finally, a pluriverse pampa, inhabited and practiced from the waters, was thought of as opposed to that pampa of emptiness or only occupied by large rice monocultures or cattle raising.","PeriodicalId":312767,"journal":{"name":"Tekoporá Revista Latinoamericana de humanidades ambientales y estudios territoriales","volume":"112 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-12-11","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116722979","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

There are several factors that operate in the construction of local identity: tradition, fighting the pest, belonging to a hilly environment where the boar inhabits, and the local solidarity. We put into dialogue the anthropological concepts of identity, community, and ritual, considering how the festival came to be consolidated as today. Finally, we invite to look at this type of celebrations as part of processes where the environmental, health, economic, identity and culture are in constant dialogue.","PeriodicalId":312767,"journal":{"name":"Tekoporá Revista Latinoamericana de humanidades ambientales y estudios territoriales","volume":"201 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-12-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122870360","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

During all these decades, the exploitation of this resource has gone through great variations. In this process, different social actors from the State and the University have been connected to the fishery to implement state regulation. Through ethnographic research, it has been gathered data regarding the relationships and linkages of the diverse social actors and the types of knowledge, sometimes in dialogue and others in conflict. With this work, we seek to contribute to the understanding of the political-social and economic complexity of the co-management processes in artisanal fisheries and in particular to emphasize the articulations between diverse knowledge. Furthermore, we highlight the opportunity that ethnographic research offers us to know the perspectives of the different actors involved in the co-management processes, among other aspects. This article exposes the different factors involved in the dialogue of knowledge, when deciding on the regulation and protection of fishery resources and the implications for those who manage their extraction and or commercialization.","PeriodicalId":312767,"journal":{"name":"Tekoporá Revista Latinoamericana de humanidades ambientales y estudios territoriales","volume":"36 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-12-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115745542","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The investigation purpose was to understand the perception of artisanal fishermen from two villages about regarding their relations with official environmental management in each society. Thus, ethnography used the contrastive comparative method in order to highlight the most striking characteristics of each researched context. In addition to institutional and cultural differences, the research also revealed similarities about the perceptions that Brazilian and Portuguese fishermen have about the environment. Here, therefore, their points of view on the fishes’ behavior and the ecosystems dynamics to which they are associated through fishing practices will be highlighted based on two native enouncement: fishing is a game and fish always wins.","PeriodicalId":312767,"journal":{"name":"Tekoporá Revista Latinoamericana de humanidades ambientales y estudios territoriales","volume":"3 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-12-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122070948","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
