Principal component analysis is used to find the important features from a number of features. In this work 381 features are selected from 561 features. Selected features are used as input to the ANN based classifier to recognize different human activity. The accuracy of the proposed activity classification method is 96.8%. Internet of Things (IoTs) and VCN are the key networking profound technologies of the up coming future wireless communication. Vehicular cloud networking is a complex system with a large number of shared resources. Vehicular cloud computing resource management requires intelligent algorithms for resource discovery, resource allocation and resource sharing. Resource discovery in vehicular cloud networking is a challenging issue because of the attaining accuracy in resource information when the vehicles are on fly and changes are frequent and unpredictable. We have proposed multi agent based honey bee optimization for efficient discovery of resource in vehicular cloud networks in this position paper. In honey bee optimization technique, we have used multiple mating behavior based approach to solve cloud selection problem in vehicular cloud networks. These nodes in the networks work as host and router as well. With the increase in wireless technology in our society MANETS are popular and essential today. The main objective to describe this paper is to explain the existing protocols and their performance comparison, also some modification is done and the simulation is performed to know about the throughput, packet delivery ratio, standard deviation energy, average residual energy, first dead node in different protocols are shown in the thesis. In this work we are going to explain AODV, DSR and modified DSR protocols with the performance analysis using simulation results, the modified version of DSR and its advantages are briefly explained along with the simulation result. One of the most important covariates in face non-cooperative biometrics is misalignment, which exist because of errors in face detector. Current research is happening in this direction in order to make non-cooperative biometrics more reliable and consistent. In this paper, we have proposed the face normalization method to overcome the negative effects of misalignment. This method is based on first determining the eye distance and then determining the face which depend on the location of eyes. With this method, the recognition accuracy increases significantly from 44.95% to 66.66 %. It is worth mentioning that the experiments were conducted on the dataset, where large variations of poses, scales and illumination exists and these characteristics makes this dataset more appropriate for doing validation for non-cooperative face biometrics. However, detection rate with eye detector will be smaller than that of face detector. The proposed concept in the paper will be very useful in achieving this. The control of the home appliances is achieved by the use of a single microcontroller, it has a branched structure with the microcontroller as the root memory and many RF transmitters as branches which will control many home appliance. The user interface is via an android application that runs on a smartphone that connects to microcontroller using WI-Fi where rooms can be added through application, as well as switches can be included to each room in the form of widgets thus displaying a live simulation of the network of switches in the home and shows whether they are active or inactive. The application ensures that the power is managed efficiently by indicating to the user, the connections that are turned on unnecessarily. The wire occupy much area of the chip and in the nanometer CMOS technology, interconnects dominates both the performance and dynamic power dissipation. Bus topology is not scalable and system throughput is also low, so Network on Chip (NoC) is desirable to interconnect the IP's in chip. NoC refers to the on chip interconnections among the various IP's present in a system-on-chip (SoC). NoC uses packets to route the data from the source to the destination, via the network that consist of crossbar switches, buffers, arbiter and interconnection links. In NoC switching strategy determines flow of data through routers in network and routing algorithm is responsible for routing data from source to destination. So, in order to reduce this use of active PFC is mandatory in these converters. If the compensator placed in the feedback loop at output is narrow in its bandwidth, the dynamic response of the Power Factor Corrector (PFC) is slow. However, the input current THD, power factor and voltage ripple are appreciable. If the compensator placed in the feedback loop at output is broad in bandwidth, the response of the PFC is faster but the voltage ripple is more where as THD and power factor are significantly less in value. In this paper, proper investigation has been done to find the range of the K (factor of ripple voltage on the control signal) which decides whether the system to have fast / slow response with power factor, THD and voltage ripple is appreciable values. The major variations of K are due to the variation of time constant (RC) of the controller.
