{"title":"Study on QFD Method in the Selection of Engineering Material Suppliers","authors":"Zhen Feng, Yue Jin, Chenglong Wang","doi":"10.2991/sschd-18.2019.28","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.2991/sschd-18.2019.28","url":null,"abstract":"In order to reduce the emotional factors in the selection of engineering material suppliers, QFD is applied to propose the quantitative method of selection of engineering material suppliers, and transform requirements of engineering materials into engineering and service characteristics that can be measured accurately. Through experts’ evaluation, the relative weight of each requirement, the correlation between engineering and service characteristics are determined. The weight of each engineering and service characteristic is calculated accordingly to obtain the quality of house selected by the supplier. The supplier's performance in engineering and service characteristics is then scored through the bidding group's review. Finally, the comprehensive score of the supplier is calculated by using the weight of engineering and service characteristics and the performance score of the supplier in engineering and service characteristics, so as to obtain the ranking of the supplier. An example is given to verify the effectiveness of the proposed method and the selection strategy of engineering material supplier is also analyzed. Introduction China's economy will enter the stage of high-quality development from high-speed development, and requirements on engineering quality are gradually improved. Engineering units are more and more committed to the quality control of raw material procurement, which makes the material department to have more scientific basis for selection when bidding for procurement. At present, factors considered in the bidding and procurement of general engineering units include factory price, haul distance, supplier qualification and previous cooperation experience, among which the former cooperation experience accounts for a large proportion, and the effect of quantitative index is weakened. In the previous analysis of supplier selection, fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method [1], AHP [2] and Kano [3] were mainly used. In recent years, with the deeper study of Quality Function Deployment (QFD), it's also used in supplier selection. TS Nguyen (2016) developed a hybrid model for non-homogeneous group decision making in the supplier selection process based on QFD [4]. M Liu (2017) innovated QFD based on 2-tuple linguistic model to evaluate tourism suppliers [5]. It can be seen that only engineering characteristics are considered but service characteristics are not. Based on this, this paper will use the QFD method to transform the engineering unit's demands into quantifiable engineering characteristics and service characteristics, and then calculates the comprehensive scores of suppliers as the reasonable selection basis. We will take procurement of an engineering unit called HRB400 Φ 20 as a case to determine the applicability of the method, and analyze the selection strategy of the engineering unit. In order to promote these applications and increase user usage, this paper, on the basis of flow theory, took users of it as the research object, and constructed a model of influencing factors on user loyalty. Based on a comprehensive analysis of 196 valid samples, this paper explored the relationship between eight factors and user loyalty in three dimensions: conditional factors, experiential factors and resultant factors. Finally, the hypothesis will be validated through data analysis, and this paper puts forward effective marketing suggestions for the development of short video social application in the future according to the three most obvious factors. These conclusions will provide reference for the operation and development of other similar industries and promote the sustainable development of the short video industry. Introduction With the continuous development of mobile Internet, a single form of pictures and texts has been unable to meet the needs of contemporary people to pursue individuality. More and more people are looking for a new, simple form to express their feelings. Short video software came into being. The first to launch the mobile short video social platform was Viddy of the United States. The development of domestic short video began in August 2013 with the built-in “Miaopai” short video sharing function launched by Micro-blog [1]. A lot of short video software began to appear since 2016. They meet the needs of people in the \"countdown era\" for accessing information with the characteristics of strong visualization, fragmentation, and high interactivity [2]. And it has opened up a new form of entertainment and social networking. According to the relevant data, in the mobile short video industry in August 2017, the number of active monthly mobile devices was 310 million, and the frequency of use and the length of use were also growing. As the only bird-watching center with natural ecological characteristics, Bird Island, located in Shenyang City, Liaoning Province, is abundant with pristine natural landscapes including forest, shrub, wetland and ponds. This paper analyzed tourists’ behavioral attributes, including the demographic characteristics, consumption foci, demand characteristics, and perception of visiting experience of 150 respondents in Shenyang Bird Island, by the methods of questionnaire, observation and in-depth interview. The results of our statistical analysis showed that tourists in Bird Island were different from those in the other common tourism destinations, as for tourist behavior characteristics mentioned above. Written in January and December 1943 respectively, “Chinese Life and Fashions” was created for the English language, Shanghai-based magazine The XXth Century, “Geng Yi Ji” was produced for the Chinese Magazine Gu Jin (Past and resent). Both the English and Chinese articles outlined the history of traditional Chinese fashion, and the English article “Chinese Life and Fashions” contained hand-drawn illustrations by Chang. Both articles were for some time thought by academics to contain largely the same content and were considered as a single unit. Further evaluation of the content has demonstrated that these articles are far more complex and nuanced and therefore are considerably different in character; rather than providing a straightforward historical narrative “Geng Yi Ji” aims to demonstrate the evolution of Chinese fashions and then uses this to argue for the abandonment of traditional fashions. It provides a comparison in order to demonstrate how Chang‟s writing on fashion for two popular magazines gave her an ideal opportunity to set out her argument for two entirely separate audiences in this paper. It also highlights how the two articles have continued to affect popular approaches (in China and in the West) to traditional Chinese fashion. The Introduction of “Chinese life and fashions” and “Geng Yi Ji” Eileen Chang published her article “Chinese Life and Fashions” in the English-language magazine The XXth Century in January 1943. [1] She published three articles on this magazine, all of them were published in 1943, and „Chinese Life and Fashions‟ was Chang‟s first article in this magazine. The XXth Century magazine was supported by the German Foreign Office, and ran from 1941 to 1945. It was born under the condition of war in summer 1941, as the spreading of the European war isolated East Asia from the west world. And also, it was ended with the end of the war. “Chinese Life and Fashions” talked about Chinese fashion and culture in different period, such as the Republic Period, Qing dynasty, Song dynasty, Tang dynasty, Han dynasty, even Qin dynasty. It should be clarified that Eileen Chang only mentioned hairstyles of Song dynasty, Tang dynasty, Han dynasty and Qin dynasty, no fashion. The main content of this article was Chinese women‟s fashion revolution from Qing dynasty to the Republic Period. For “Geng Yi Ji”, almost every reference indicated that “Chinese Life and Fashions” is the original copy of “Geng Yi Ji”, which was published on the magazine Gu Ji, December 1943. [2] In 1940s, Eileen Chang was very famous. Zhou Li‟an, the editor of Gu Jin, asked Eileen Chang to write an article for Gu Jin. Thus, Eileen Chang rewrote “Chinese Life and Fashions” to “Geng Yi Ji” and published it in Gu Jin. Via giving the calculation methods of top event risk probability and bottom events risk equivalent and taking Pingyao ancient city as an empirical study, we have found out the key fault factors and offered the decision basis for the system service reliability management. Taking fault tree into service reliability of tourism supply chain is a new idea. Introduction In recent years, tourism has become one of the fastest-growing, most promising and largest emerging industries in the world [1]. In order to obtain high benefit and stable operation, tourism supply chain must be guaranteed by high reliability [2-4]. Reliability of tourism supply chain is the core of customer perception of tourism service quality. If maintenance of supply chain is a profit growth point of enterprises, the failure diagnosis of supply chain is the source of this point [5]. Hao LIU established the reliability evaluation index system [6]. Jing-zhi CHEN constructed the reliability evaluation index system from three dimensions of tourism supply chain operation quality standard requirements [7]. Yue-mei ZHANG and others combined fuzzy theory with fault tree to construct the reliability analysis model of tourism supply chain [8]. From the above relevant literature, we can see that the existing research is limited to the definition of tourism supply chain reliability, type differentiation and evaluation indicators, but the diagnosis of tourism supply chain service reliability is insufficient. This paper will discuss how to diagnose the high failure factors of tourism supply chain service by introducing the fault tree analysis method based on the analysis of system operation failure. In the tourism service system, there are many factors which may lead to the failure of tourism service and affect the reliability of the system. The diagnosis of the factors is an important problem to improve the reliability and operational efficiency of the tourism supply chain service.
