The method is descriptive qualitative research. The subject is class XI SMA Negeri 1 Polokarto. The data collection technique is questionnaire about online mathematics learning motivation. The results of the analysis in this study indicate that students are mostly motivated by learning mathematics online. This type of research is qualitative research using a descriptive approach. The research was conducted at MTs Negeri 5 Merangin. The subjects used in this study were 3 students who were taken from class VII-B.The results showed that students who have mathematical reasoning abilities SKP-01 have been able to meet all indicators of mathematical reasoning abilities. SKP-02 students with mathematical reasoning abilities are unable to meet the indicators of compiling valid arguments. And SKP-03 students are not able to meet the indicators of estimating the answer and the solution process and the indicators compile valid arguments. Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian eksperimental semu. Teknik pengambilan sampel penelitian ini menggunakan Cluster Random Sampling, yaitu kelas VIII E sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas VIII B sebagai kelas kontrol. Pengujian hipotesis dengan ANAVA dua jalan sel tak sama, menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Terdapat perbedaan prestasi belajar matematika siswa pada pembelajaran dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran GI dan model pembelajaran langsung pada materi bangun ruang sisi datar (Fa = 11, 7464 > 4,001 = F0,05;1;60). (2) Terdapat perbedaan prestasi belajar matematika siswa pada siswa dengan kemampuan awal tinggi, sedang dan rendah pada materi bangun ruang sisi datar (Fb = 39,4458 > 3,150 = F0,05;2;60). Penelitian ini dilakukan terhadap siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Karanganom Klaten Tahun Ajaran 2017/2018. Dari Populasi 272 siswa, diambil sampel sebanyak 34 siswa yang menjadi subjek penelitian. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah angket dan tes hasil belajar matematika. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi. Uj prasyarat yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah uji normalitas, linieritas dan keberartian regresi. Subyek penelitian adalah siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 1 Karanganom sejumlah 224 siswa. Alat pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah metode angket dan dokumentasi. Adapun uji prasyarat yang dilakukan adalah uji normalitas, uji linieritas dan keberartian regresi. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan analisis korelasi sederhana dan korelasi ganda. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas dengan subyek siswa kelas VII B SMP Negeri 3 Polanharjo tahun pelajaran 2017/2018 yang terdiri dari 24 siswa. Penelitian tindakan kelas dilaksanakan dalam 2 siklus yaitu siklus I dan siklus II. Setiap siklus terdiri dari tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Setelah pelaksanaan tindakan kelas peneliti memperoleh data aktivitas belajar melalui observasi dan data hasil belajar melalui teknik tes. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian melalui penerapan strategi pembelajaran advisor group dapat meningkatkan aktivitas belajar matematika siswa. Aktivitas belajar siswa yang mengalami peningkatan dilihat dari rata-rata persentase aktivitas pada siklus I sebesar 63,69% meningkat menjadi 75% pada siklus II. Selain aktivitas belajar siswa yang meningkat, melalui penerapan strategi pembelajaran advisor group juga dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika siswa. Diperoleh data hasil belajar siswa yang mengalami peningkatan dilihat dari persentase ketuntasan klasikal pada pra siklus sebesar 33,33% meningkat pada siklus I sebesar 66,67%, meningkat lagi menjadi 83,33% pada siklus II.
