This research method was quasi-experiment with a posttest only control group design. The population of this research were 3rd grade students of SD Negeri Wonosari, Semarang City. The sampling technique was used to cluster random sampling with two experimental classes. The first experimental class used contextual teaching-learning and the second experimental class used problem-based learning. The data were analyzed using a one-way ANOVA test. The results showed that there were differences between student mathematics learning outcomes in three classes. Student learning outcomes that applied contextual teaching and learning were better than mathematics learning outcomes of students who applied problem-based learning or conventional learning because contextual teaching and learning more emphasis on meaningful learning from real life that made it easier for students to understand. The teacher should be able to choose the appropriate model to be applied in mathematics learning following the grade level so that mathematics learning in the early grade could run optimally. The type of research used is classroom action research (CAR). The research design refers to the research design of Kemmis and Mc. Taggart consists of four components: 1) planning, 2) action, 3) observation and 4) reflection. The type of data used is qualitative data and quantitative data with data collection techniques are observation, interviews, field notes and tests. This research was conducted in two cycles. The results showed that the application of guided discovery learning methods can improve student learning outcomes by following the steps of guided discovery methods are: 1) the formulation of the problem, the researcher explains the subject matter regarding the relationship between lines and angles, the researcher distributes student activity sheet which contains questions concerning the material relations between lines and angles that must be completed by students. 2) data processing and constructing conjectures, students process data in the student activity sheet and arrange conjectures. 3) Examining the conjecture, the researcher examines the conjectures that have been prepared by students and provides guidance as needed if there is an error in compiling the conjecture. 4) verbalizing the conjecture, student representatives from each group present the results of the conjecture obtained and the researcher guides students to make correct conclusions about the material relations between lines and angles. 5) feedback, giving practice questions about the material of relationships between lines and angles to students. This type of research is classroom action research (CAR). The design of the study was based on the research design of Kemmis and Mc. Taggart consists of four components, namely (1) planning, (2) action, (3) observation, and (4) reflection. This research was conducted in two cycles. The research subjects were seventh grade students of Muhammadiyah Middle School 1 Palu in the 2017/2018 school year, totaling 25 students. Data collection techniques in this study were observation, tests, interviews, and field notes. The results showed that the application of the Van Hiele learning model could improve student learning outcomes by following the phases of Van Hiele's learning model, namely: (1) inquiry, (2) directed orientation, (3) description, (4) free orientation, and ( 5) integration. In the first cycle the percentage of classical learning completeness was 47.83% and in the second cycle the percentage of classical learning completeness increased to 86.96%. In addition, the results of observations of teacher activities in managing learning in the first cycle and second cycle are in the very good category. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa : 1) profil pemecahan masalah siswa FI pada tahap memahami masalah yaitu: mengidentifikasi informasi-informasi yang diketahui dan ditanyakan. 2) Profil pemecahan masalah siswa FI pada tahap membuat rencana yaitu: mampu membuat hubungan antara informasi yang ada dengan masalah yang ditanyakan dengan mengaikatkan pengetahuan dan pengalamannya. 3) Profil pemecahan masalah subjek FI pada tahap melaksanakan rencana yaitu subjek dengan gaya kognitif FI dapat menerapkan rencana yang telah dibuat selanjutnya melaksanakan rencana dengan menggunakan konsep yang telah dipelajari sebelumnya. 4) Profil pemecahan masalah siswa FI pada tahap memeriksa kembali yaitu: subjek memeriksa kembali langkah demi langkah hasil pekerjaan 5) Profil pemecahan masalah siswa FD pada tahap memahami masalah yaitu: dengan cara membaca masalah berulang-ulang dan membutuhkan waktu yang lebih lama dalam memahami masalah. 6) Profil pemecahan masalah siswa FD pada tahap membuat rencana yaitu: subjek kurang tepat dalam membuat rencana penyelesaian. 7) Profil pemecahan masalah subjek FD pada tahap melaksanakan rencana yaitu subjek mengalami kesulitan dalam menerapkan rencana yang telah dibuat sebelumnya sehingga menambahkan beberapa strategi untuk dapat menyelesaikan masalah yang dihadapi. 8) Profil pemecahan masalah siswa FD pada tahap memeriksa kembali yaitu: subjek tidak melakukan pengecekan kembali hasil pekerjaan. \u0000 \u0000Kata Kunci: Profil, Pemecahan Masalah, Segitiga, Gaya Kognitif. \u0000 \u0000Abstract: This study aims to describe the problem solving problem of triangle students of class VIII SMP Negeri 19 Palu in terms of cognitive style. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X TKJ A yang berjumlah 20 siswa, terbagi atas 8 siswa laki-laki dan 12 siswa perempua serta di pilih 3 siswa sebagai informan. Penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang mengacu pada desain penelitian Kemmis dan Mc. Taggart yakni (1) perencanaan, (2) pelaksanaan tindakan, (3) observasi, dan (4) refleksi. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Pada siklus I banyaknya siswa yang tuntas yakni 14 siswa dengan persentase ketuntasan 70% dan pada siklus II banyak siswa yang tuntas yakni 17 siswa dengan persentase ketuntasan 85%. Hasil observasi aktivitas guru pada siklus I berada pada kategori baik dan mengalami peningkatan pada siklus II berada pada kategori sangat baik. Hasil observasi aktivitas siswa pada siklus I berada pada kategori baik dan mengalami peningkatan pada siklus II berada pada kategori sangat baik. Penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe MURDER yang dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas X TKJ A SMK Negeri 1 Poso Pesisir Utara pada materi barisan dan deret aritmatika, dengan enam komponen yaitu: 1) Mood, 2) Understand, 3) Recall, 4) Detect, 5) Expand, 6) Review. \u0000Kata Kunci: Kooperatif Tipe MURDER; Hasil Belajar; Barisan dan Deret Aritmatika \u0000Abstract: This study aims to obtain a description of the application of the MURDER type cooperative learning model to improve student learning outcomes in arithmetic sequence and sequence material in class X TKJ A of SMK Negeri 1 Poso North Coast. The subjects of this study were students of class X TKJ A, amounting to 20 students, divided into 8 male students and 12 female students and 3 students were selected as informants. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif. Subjek dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari satu siswa yang bergaya kognitif FI dan satu siswa yang bergaya kognitif FD. Hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu saat menyajikan masalah, subjek FI dan FD menuliskan hal-hal yang diketahui dan ditanyakan. Selanjutnya dalam mengklasifikasi unsur-unsur parabola, subjek FI mengelompokkan unsur-unsur parabola menurut bentuk parabolanya yaitu parabola horizontal terbuka ke kanan. Kemudian dalam memberi contoh dan non-contoh pada setiap unsur-unsur parabola, subjek FI memberikan contoh dan non-contoh dari setiap unsur-unsur parabola yang diberikan. Kemudian menyajikan masalah persamaan parabola dalam representasi matematis, subjek FI dan subjek FD menyajikan persamaan parabola kedalam bentuk persamaan umum parabola. Kemudian menggunakan, memanfaatkan dan memilih prosedur tertentu dalam menentukan persamaan parabola, subjek FI menggunakan dan memilih persamaan umum parabola horizontal dan subjek FD menggunakan persamaan umum parabola walaupun subjek tidak mengetahui jenis persamaan umum parabola yang digunakan. Kemudian subjek FI menjelaskan kembali prosedur yang digunakan serta memberikan alasannya dengan menggunakan bahasanya sendiri dan subjek FD menjelaskan kembali prosedur yang digunakan walaupun dalam proses penyelesaiannya siswa belum memahami dengan baik langkah-langkah yang harus digunakan. \u0000Kata Kunci: Profil; Pemahaman konsep matematika; Parabola; \u0000abstract: This study aims to describe the understanding of mathematical concepts of class XI students of SMA 2 Dampelas in solving problems on the subject of the parabolic discussion reviewed from cognitive style of the Independent Field (FI) and Field Dependent (FD). This type of research is qualitative research. The subjects in this study consisted of one student who was in the cognitive style of FI and one student in the cognitive style of FD. Hipotesis yang diajukan dalam penelitian ini yaitu terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar matematika antara siswa yang belajar menggunakan model pembelajaran discovery learning dengan siswa yang belajar menggunakan model pembelajaran inquiry di kelas X SMA Negeri 2 Palu, baik secara keseluruhan, antara siswa berkemampuan tinggi, antara siswa berkemampuan sedang dan antara siswa berkemampuan rendah. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 72 siswa yang terdiri dari 36 siswa kelas X MIA 3 sebagai kelas yang belajar menggunakan model pembelajaran inquiry dan 36 siswa kelas X MIA 5 yang belajar menggunakan model pembelajaran discovery learning. Materi yang dipelajari oleh siswa yaitu Sistem Persamaan Linear Tiga Variabel, Relasi dan Fungsi. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan uji hipotesis untuk α = 0,05 diperoleh p > α untuk semua hipotesis, sehingga H1 ditolak dan H0 diterima untuk semua hipotesis. Data dikumpulkan dengan cara metode tes dan wawancara. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari satu siswa laki-laki (SH) dan satu siswa perempuan (DS). Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kesalahan konseptual yang dilakukan siswa laki-laki (SH) yaitu : 1) kesalahan tidak memahami konsep rumus perkalian matriks, 2) kesalahan konsep perkalian matriks, 3) kesalahan tidak menerapkan rumus invers, 4) kesalahan konsep invers matriks dan 5) kesalahan konsep adjoin. Kesalahan prosedural yang dilakukan siswa laki-laki berupa 1) kesalahan dalam melakukan perhitungan, 2) kesalahan tidak menyederhanakan dan 3) kesalahan tidak menuliskan tanda operasi pada matriks. Sedangkan kesalahan konseptual yang dilakukan siswa perempuan (DS) yaitu: 1) kesalahan tidak memahami konsep rumus perkalian matriks, 2) kesalahan konsep perkalian matriks, 3) kesalahan konsep adjoin dan 4) kesalahan konsep invers matriks. Kesalahan prosedural yang dilakukan siswa perempuan berupa 1) kesalahan dalam melakukan perhitungan. Siswa laki-laki banyak melakukan kesalahan dari pada siswa perempuan dikarenakan, siswa laki-laki tidak teliti dan terburu-buru dalam menyelesaikan soal matriks. Sedangkan siswa perempuan tidak terlalu banyak melakukan kesalahan dikarenakan cenderung lebih teliti dan cermat dalam menyelesaikan soal matriks. \u0000Kata kunci: Profil Kesalahan, Jenis Kelamin dan Matriks \u0000Abstract: This research is a qualitative research which aims to obtain a profile of errors students make in solving matrix problems based on sex in SMA 7 Palu. Data was collected by means of test and interview methods. The research subjects consisted of one male student (SH) and one female student (DS). The results showed that the conceptual errors made by male students (SH) were: 1) errors not understanding the concept of matrix multiplication formula, 2) errors in matrix multiplication concepts, 3) errors not applying inverse formulas, 4) inverse matrix concept errors and 5 ) the error of the adjoin concept. Procedural errors made by male students in the form of 1) errors in making calculations, 2) errors do not simplify and 3) errors do not write the operation mark on the matrix. Whereas the conceptual errors made by female students (DS) are: 1) errors do not understand the concept of matrix multiplication formula, 2) errors in the concept of matrix multiplication, 3) errors in adjoining concepts and 4) inverse matrix concept errors. Procedural errors made by female students in the form of 1) errors in carrying out calculations. Male students make a lot of mistakes than female students because , male students are not careful and in a hurry to solve the matrix problem. Subjek penelitian ini ialah siswa kelas VIII SMP N 18 Palu yang berjumlah 20 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini yaitu observasi, tes, wawancara, dan catatan lapangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran Van Hiele dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dengan mengikuti fase-fase: 1) informasi, 2) orientasi terarah, 3) uraian, 4) orientasi bebas, dan 5) integrasi. \u0000Kata Kunci: model Pembelajaran Van Hiele, Hasil Belajar, Luas Permukaan serta Volume Balok dan Kubus. \u0000Abstract: The purpose of this research is to describe the application of Van Hiele Learning model to improve student learning outcomes on Surface Surface and Block and Cube in Grade VIII SMP N 18 Palu. The study design refers to the Kemmis and Mc.Taggart model, which consists of 4 components: 1) planning, 2) action, 3) observation, and 4) reflection. The subject of this research is the students of class VIII SMP N 18 Palu, amounting to 20 students. Data collection techniques in this study are observation, tests, interviews, and field notes. The result of the research shows that the planning of learning implementation is in accordance with the guidance of making RPP which is issued by the Ministry of Education and Culture of Learning on Primary and Secondary Education in which there are RPP components namely school identity, subject identity, class / semester, subject matter, , KD, indicators, learning objectives, methods, learning activities, media, sources, and assessments.
