Understanding their preferences is the key to attracting their sympathy and interest. Thus, this study aims to analyze banking selection criteria for Islamic and conventional banks among the young generation. A group of students represents the millennial group in this study. Data is collected through questionnaire instruments, and factor analysis is employed to capture millennials' preference for banking. The finding highlights a relatively lower level of knowledge and awareness among millennials regarding the products and services offered by Islamic banks. Interestingly, among them, an inverse relationship exists between the criteria for selecting Islamic and conventional banks. Factors associated with banking preference among millennials are managerial performance and service quality, religiosity, recommendations, and finances. This study provides valuable insights for banking industry players, enabling them to understand millennial banking preferences better and formulate suitable marketing strategies.JEL Classification: G21, G32, D81How to Cite:Rama, A., & Wiranata, S. This study aims to analyze the influence of cultural norms in moderating the effect of family roles and social support on the happiness of the sandwich generation. The samples were 203 generations of sandwiches obtained through accidental sampling techniques and analyzed using Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA). The results showed that cultural norms, social support, and family roles significantly influence the happiness of the sandwich generation. Meanwhile, cultural norms were not variables that moderate the effect of family roles and social support on the happiness of the sandwich generation. This study proposed two central policies to break the sandwich generation chain in Gianyar Regency: socializing the importance of financial literacy so that in the future, a person does not depend on his child for life and forming a parent empowerment group to reduce the burden of the sandwich generation.JEL Classification: M14, J12, I31, L31How to Cite:Yuniari, N. The previous studies rarely discuss the effects of monetary variables in the long and short term on portfolio investment. This study looks at monetary indicators that affect investment portfolios in Indonesia. The methodology used in this research is to use the Vector Error Correction Model (VECM) to see the response of several variables in the short and long term. The findings suggest that monetary policy should pay special attention to Indonesia's money supply (M2) and savings to influence portfolio investment in the short term. The monetary policy transmission mechanism can use the money and expectation channels to optimize monetary variables to control investment. Meanwhile, in the long run, monetary policy portfolio investment control needs to pay attention to interest rates and savings and adjust to the set inflation target, which can be used in the interest rate channel.JEL Classification: E21, E22, E43, E51, E52 How to Cite:Fuddin, M. Manufacturing Micro and Small Enterprises (MSEs) is one sector that contributes significantly to the economy, export value, and employment, particularly during moments when the tourism sector is down. This study aims to determine the performance of manufacturing MSEs during 2018-2021 using Cobb-Douglas stochastic frontier production function analysis. The Technical Inefficiency (TE) value of manufacturing MSEs in Bali was 22.24% over 2018-2021. The impact of COVID-19 on each ISIC and business location has a varied impact on the production value of MSEs Manufacturing. The gender of the business owner, financial service, age of workers, and source of raw materials are inefficiency variables that significantly affect production value. We used a nonparametric regression approach that never been employed in previous studies, both domestically and internationally. This study shows that the second-order Epanechnikov kernel function is statistically significant in explaining the effect of world oil price changes on Indonesia's inflation. We found that the world oil price changes had a lower effect on Indonesia's inflation when its price below USD 100 per barrel, and its effect became higher when its price above USD 100 per barrel. These results have important implications for Bank Indonesia and Indonesia's government in response to the world oil price changes. The study documented that remittance and unemployment have a significant effect on poverty reduction in the long run. Meanwhile, economic growth and the Gini coefficient were found to have an insignificant influence on poverty reduction. The speed of adjustment due to shocks in the short term is restored within eight months into the long-run equilibrium. Our results emphasize that poverty in ASEAN-4 must be addressed with pragmatic macroeconomic policies, especially policies that affect the poor's income. The results showed that the variables of corruption have a negative impact on economic growth, foreign direct investment (FDI), and government expenditure have positives that significantly affect the level of economic growth in 10 Asia-Pacific countries. However, population growth does not significantly affect economic growth. The result implies that corruption has a negative effect on economic growth in 10 Asia-Pacific countries.
