The speech behavior of the teacher in various academic-teaching situations of communication presupposes the realization of a speech portrait typical for the profession. The language personality of a philologist- educator is assessed primarily through the prism of the level of mastery of the language norm. The philologist-educator is a representative of the profession with increased speech responsibility, which obliges him to know and master the language in all its diversity, to be able to quickly and adequately assess the speech of the interlocutor and the speech situation and, in accordance with this, build the correct speech behavior that meets the pedagogical requirements. The teacher's choice of the type of speech behavior will be justified if it is communicatively justified and serves the effectiveness of establishing and maintaining the contact with interlocutors. Students-philologists learning a foreign language should be taught not to confuse various language variants with mistakes as gross, unacceptable violations of the norm. In general, students-philologists should be able to choose the variants of linguistic units, which simultaneously correspond to the developed communicative situational context, and the image of the teacher. The students-philologists as future teachers should master the standard speech portrait of the exemplary philologist-educator and learn to understand well the characteristics of the speech portraits of the native speakers of various sociolects, with representatives of whom they will have to communicate.","PeriodicalId":309929,"journal":{"name":"International journal for social studies","volume":"16 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-09-13","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125203746","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Some aliens tend to cogitate Africa as devoid of morality, moral consciousness and perceive Africa ‘’as they do not distinguish between good and evil ….”(Temple, 1952). This led them into giving all forms of derogatory names to Africans and African morality . With a special focus on Africa, this paper deals with discourses being made on morality in African thought. These discourses displays the ambivalence existed among those scholars seeking to define the foundation of morality in Africa within the parameter of religious episteme, community based, ancestral worship and tabooed verdict. Therefore, this paper will be of great benefit and afford the opportunity of preserving moral values and beliefs of the people not only for future generation but also as a source of wisdom from which the younger generations will benefit. Africans gallant traditions and creative energies need to be rediscovered, promoted and celebrated. It is momentous that Africa must be candidly studied on its own terms and to mollify its people’s needs through indigenous knowledge. In nutshell, this paper deliberates and ascertains what African people actually know, actually believe, and think about the foundations of morality.","PeriodicalId":309929,"journal":{"name":"International journal for social studies","volume":"69 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-06-07","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125613690","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The geopolitical location of India helps in being in leader of the such operations. India has been able to curb terrorism in many parts of the country like Punjab, Jammu & Kashmir, Nagaland, Tamilnadu and other part of the country which may not be termed as terrorism. The track record of countries India is good and it has never promoted terrorism in other parts of the world and whenever needed it has been actively supporting the campaign of the United Nations and United States of America for curbing terrorism. The origin of the terrorism is well known to be in the Middle East but the spread of the terrorism in the other parts of the world is a matter of great concern. One of the world region which got highly affected by this speed is Asia Pacific region and this research is more relevant for Asia Pacific Region. India is more decidedly aligning itself with the US strategic vision of pivoting to the Asia Pacific and Indian Ocean Region to curb the rise of terrorism and ensure regional balance of powers. As Pakistan is well known supporter of terrorism and US fears that Pakistan may lend the nuclear weapon technology to terrorists or terrorists may grab it forcefully from a politically weak country like Pakistan which has nuclear powers. With US lawmakers pressing for NATO ally status for India make it more clear that India is a strategic partner in curbing the rise of terrorism in Asia Pacific region.","PeriodicalId":309929,"journal":{"name":"International journal for social studies","volume":"6 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-01-08","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121955816","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
