Firstly, an equivalent two terminal model based on Thevenin’s and Norton’s theorem is proposed to reveal the generation of the common mode (CM) current. Then, the antenna models are also developed, where the interaction between the noise source and the undesired antenna in the power converter’s CM path is explored in detail. The spectrum of CM currents is extracted for power converter and the developed models are used to predict the radiated EMI from power converter with attached power cable. Experiments are conducted to validate the spectrum of CM current, and the predicted radiated emissions for power converter agree well with the experimental results.","PeriodicalId":308213,"journal":{"name":"2021 4th International Conference on Energy, Electrical and Power Engineering (CEEPE)","volume":"23 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-04-23","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125323655","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Sealing component of Gas Insulated switchgear (GIS) should be designed based on the criterion of minimum temperature, which could avoid the risk of large-area SF6 leakage accidents causing by ultra-design low temperature. Nine stations in Shandong Province were selected as the research objects, and the temperature observation data from 1973 to 2016 were investigated in the manuscript. The risk level of extreme temperature lower than the design criterion was calculated with Generalized Extreme Value (GEV) distribution according to the annual minimum temperatures determined by the current regulations. Furthermore, the risk of encountering ultra-design low temperature were also evaluated based on the local historical observation minimum temperature and the minimum design temperature in typical areas, which could provide theoretical support and application reference for optimizing the design temperature of power transmission and transformation equipment.","PeriodicalId":308213,"journal":{"name":"2021 4th International Conference on Energy, Electrical and Power Engineering (CEEPE)","volume":"10 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-04-23","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127099145","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Reactive power optimization can alleviate the voltage problems, and thereby improve the level of renewable energy accommodation. This paper firstly adopts the Monte Carlo-based probabilistic power flow algorithm to propose two accommodation evaluation indicators to reasonably evaluate the accommodation capacity of an actual large power grid; then without reducing the active power of renewable energy sources, using its own reactive power control capability to optimize the power grid’s voltage, and the effect of reactive power optimization on the level of accommodation is studied.","PeriodicalId":308213,"journal":{"name":"2021 4th International Conference on Energy, Electrical and Power Engineering (CEEPE)","volume":"35 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-04-23","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121279175","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Currently, some researchers are committed to building a more accurate transformer model. Based on the existing transformer $pi$ type equivalent circuit, this paper proposes a concise unified power flow model for three-phase transformers in the medium and low voltage distribution network. The model built in this paper considers the influence of the zero-sequence current path on leakage admittance and excitation admittance. Simultaneously, the symmetrical component method is used to express the influence of interphase coupling, and the phase shift matrix is introduced to realize the different phase shift relations. Power systems are confronted with a huge challenge of renewable energy integration under insufficient flexibility. Therefore, this paper proposes an economic dispatch model for wind-hydro-thermal power system considering the reservoir flexibility. Through establishing a dynamic control model of flood limit water level (FLWL), the flexibility of reservoir shrunken by the static FLWL in flood season is exploited. This dynamic model is based on the pre-released capacity constraint method and real-time forecast information, which can improve the flexibility of the reservoir without increasing the flood control risk. Simulation results on the IEEE 30-bus system verify the effectiveness of the proposed model.","PeriodicalId":308213,"journal":{"name":"2021 4th International Conference on Energy, Electrical and Power Engineering (CEEPE)","volume":"7 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-04-23","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123303490","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

First, in order to model the high-voltage direct current (HVDC) overhead lines with arbitrary crossing angles, the cylindrical calculation area is adopted. Then, combined with the position of the intersection point, a method for determining the artificial boundary with any crossing angle is proposed. Under the premise of ensuring the calculation accuracy, the modeling region is given to reduce the amount of 3D calculation. Finally, the method is used to analyze the ground-level electric field in the crossing area of $pm 500kV$ lines, and the influence of the crossing angle on the ion flow field is studied. Due to the irregularity of historical data for electric power materials, the characteristic of electric power material demand is complicated and power grid companies lack accurate forecasting methods. By identifying the continuous and intermittent characteristics of electric power material demand, this paper separately designs the Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) method, and the Grey prediction Model based BP neural network (GM-BP) method to individually forecast the electric power material demand with different demand characteristics. Therefore, this research studies the secondary system test scheme for the expansion project of 500kV hydropower station under the partial shutdown mode, and analysis in detail the changes of the protection configuration in the past during the expansion process. According to the analysis results, debugging methods such as the circuit wiring that needs to be removed after the protection configuration changes and the arrangement of secondary safety measures in this mode are put forward to eliminate potential safety hazards during the test.
