Many biomarkers are used to discriminate cancer but there is no accurate evidence which is more accurate. To save resources and due to the enormous computational power, the analysis of huge sequences such as DNA (DesoxyriboNucleic Acid) becomes a valid process. Machine learning and deep learning algorithms have been used to predict drug response. The indicators show that the performance of deep learning models is better than the performance of machine learning based one. In this paper, we introduce the use of Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) to predict the response of 265 different drugs using the gene expression profile and mutation profile of 19702 genes. DeepInsight algorithm used to convert the input data to images to be more suitable as input to the CNN. We proposed eight CNNs with different architectures. At first, the whole data input passes through the DeepInsight model which converts the gene expression data and mutation data to images. Dimension reduction is then applied using the helper technique inside the DeepInsignt. The CNN are trained with different settings such as image size, no of nodes in layers…etc. Comparative analysis shows that the proposed architectures improve the prediction accuracy in a range between 16% and 24% as a reduction in mean squared error (MSE).","PeriodicalId":307952,"journal":{"name":"2022 18th International Computer Engineering Conference (ICENCO)","volume":"54 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-12-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125264398","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This research paper presents the mathematical model of a quadcopter that was developed as an example of an unmanned aerial vehicle. The MATLAB and Simulink environment create the model simulation and controller design. The present study proposes a cost-effective and easily deployable control system with a comparison that shows the difference between the controller made in this paper and the literature. The mathematical model represented has been linearized, and the transfer function of the brushless DC motors responsible for quadcopter motion is derived using system identification techniques to construct the attitude controller. The controller is evaluated, and the simulation results are described. It presents the design and development of a remote-controlled quadcopter utilizing a PID (Proportional Integral Derivative) cost-effective controller implemented using an Arduino UNO board.","PeriodicalId":307952,"journal":{"name":"2022 18th International Computer Engineering Conference (ICENCO)","volume":"5 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-12-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114332345","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Anticipating, and mitigating satellite micro-vibrations caused by onboard internal disturbance sources is considered an impressive engineering challenge in both mechanical and electrical engineering branches, especially for users running highly sensitive optical sensor payloads with high standards of image quality requirements. This paper studies the different types of vibrations like jitter, linear and sinusoidal vibrations that cause many forms of degradations in remote sensing images acquired by satellite cameras in both mechanical and electrical engineering branches. The limitations of each approach are stated. Also, the two main solutions to soften the influence of satellite micro-vibrations on remote sensing image quality are introduced. A plan for overcoming the drawbacks of the mitigation techniques and how to deal with this problem in the future is introduced based on neural network techniques.","PeriodicalId":307952,"journal":{"name":"2022 18th International Computer Engineering Conference (ICENCO)","volume":"7 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-12-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116207323","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Due to the lack of knowledge of what these rules are and the resources needed to fund them, a lot of people develop health issues. One of the most common health issues relate to sitting in a wrong posture for extended period.In this document, a framework that can help in minimizing the existence of the sitting posture anomaly is proposed. This framework takes into account using limited resources as well as being able to apply it in a home environment.","PeriodicalId":307952,"journal":{"name":"2022 18th International Computer Engineering Conference (ICENCO)","volume":"75 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-12-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122725663","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The most prominent threshold energy selection criterion out of the scarcely available research on the LEACH-K threshold energy parameter is used to simulate the LEACH-K protocol. Simulations are carried out on scaled-up Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) in terms of size and number of nodes. An analysis is performed on the life-cycle of the CH selection process, which leads to recording sensor nodes being still alive and inaccessible when the CH selection process ends. Therefore, the presented findings raise many concerns regarding the past research on LEACH-K simulations, marking a fatal research gap that has to be detailedly studied and inspected.","PeriodicalId":307952,"journal":{"name":"2022 18th International Computer Engineering Conference (ICENCO)","volume":"85 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-12-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127725074","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
