The rapid changes and uncertainties associated with the virus have led to dramatic changes in social structures, lifestyles and work environments. When there is alienation between people, personal emotion and stress crisis, when people lack opportunities for social activities, digital video media can help relieve personal emotions and work pressure. During the COVID-19 outbreak, individuals rely on a variety of streaming video and audio platforms for their stress and emotional expression. Most streaming music platforms have mixed interface operability, unclear architecture logic and excessive hierarchical structure, resulting in poor user experience satisfaction. As people around the world live in a digital transformation amid the COVID-19 pandemic, most companies are focusing on providing digital technology services and optimizing the digital user experience. With streaming platform services and user experience as the focus, 22 people participated in the ease-of-use test of the KKBOX streaming music platform. Based on the new functions of KKBOX, this study evaluated the user operation experience and the ease of use of the interactive interface by optimizing the design of rolling interaction and visual interface. In the COVID-19 epidemic, the personalized digital culture in the digital transformation, remote video communication and various online platform services have become a new life mode.","PeriodicalId":307562,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 2021 5th International Conference on Software and e-Business","volume":"112 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-03","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122683444","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Most people have more than one online account protected by passwords. Managing passwords is one of the daunting tasks for most people. Therefore, users may rely on password management systems PMS to help creating, managing, retrieving, and storing passwords. However, there is still a lack of relying on and using such systems to manage users’ passwords. This study aims to use a text mining approach to investigate the factors that influence users’ behavior to use PMSs which leads to improve their security. This study adopts a text mining approach to uncover the design principles (features) of PMSs extracted from online users’ reviews and feedbacks to improve the adoption of PMSs. Specifically, our study used a topic modeling algorithm to analyze users’ feedback by collecting and analyzing the reviews of nine password management systems. The results indicate the need to address principles and design features related to compatibility, security, usefulness, ease of use, and customer care services.","PeriodicalId":307562,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 2021 5th International Conference on Software and e-Business","volume":"26 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-03","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128671990","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

By completing the market and replicating portfolio, we get the pricing and hedging strategy. We suggest three strategies to derive a price for the European put option under an incomplete market. With fitting degree testing we find that none of them is applicable due to the significance of error. However, the boundaries of maximum and minimum price are found by the three strategies. With the Monte-Carlo method, the option price calculated by induction is validated.","PeriodicalId":307562,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 2021 5th International Conference on Software and e-Business","volume":"324 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-03","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122102601","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Besides, this paper explores some stock indicators that help increase the probability of gain on stock investment from prediction. Although underwriters are investment experts, they have incentives to provide false information to the public considering the conflict of interest. Given that underwriters gain the advantage of controlling the amount of revealed information on stocks, retail investors also check the past performance and the shareholding in mutual funds for each corresponding stock. Since mutual funds are operated by sophisticated fund managers, their trading behaviors also reveal some information about true stocks' performances. This paper applies the Random Forest model, confusion matrix, and heat map analysis to test the creditability from the following two aspects: 1) Information from the stock market; 2) Information from mutual funds. We collect and organize all A-share stocks in industry research reports from Guotai Junan Securities Company, individual stock information, the mutual funds shareholding structure, and the overall market trend in the WIND Financial Database from the first quarter in 2017 to the first quarter in 2021. The results indicate that more indicators consideration can increase the probability of gain from 51.35% to 61.18%.","PeriodicalId":307562,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 2021 5th International Conference on Software and e-Business","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-03","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134472217","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This work focuses on holders of the H-1B visa that are in research-oriented roles, and it demonstrates that these H-1B visa workers contribute to U.S. innovation by filing patents. Detailed patent data and visa data for the years 2008-2019 are merged to analyze the impact H-1B visa workers have on the granted patents for each state and year. The panel regressions show positive and statistically significant associations between the number of H-1B visa workers and the number of patents, and the results are consistent across several model specifications. To alleviate the inherent confounding bias that may simultaneously drive the H-1B visa worker preferences and patenting activities, a two-stage-least-square regression with an instrumental variable is adopted to identify the causal effects of H-1B visa workers on the number of issued patents. The results remain positive and statistically significant even after controlling for confounding factors. Lastly, a topic modeling approach was performed on patent abstracts using Latent Dirichlet Allocation (LDA) to segment all patents into seven distinct topic areas, and separate regressions are estimated on patents of each topic. Heterogeneous differences between patent topics show that H-1B visa holders primarily boost innovation in computer science and in optoelectronics. Armed with these findings, policymakers should consider reforming visa programs as a means of continuing innovation growth and economic leadership in the United States.","PeriodicalId":307562,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 2021 5th International Conference on Software and e-Business","volume":"55 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-03","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126958427","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Nowadays, many examples exist of AI being improperly designed or used. This often leads to the violation of human values, e.g., equality or safety. Organizations can properly ground these human values in AI by composing principles. This paper focuses on providing examples of improper design and usage of AI from practice, with regards to a selection of human values. In total, 54 examples were identified using a narrative literature search technique regarding seven human values selected. In conclusion, the examples show that the problems regarding the design and execution can be interrelated but do not have to be. Also, improper design and execution of AI solutions do not have to be intentional by definition due to a lack of understanding of AI technology and implementation. Lastly, examples of principles are provided to ground human values.","PeriodicalId":307562,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 2021 5th International Conference on Software and e-Business","volume":"29 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-03","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127645901","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
