The DMAMC methodology was applied in the \"Define and Measure\" stages for the analysis and to be able to propose strategies that allow to increase the efficiency, maintain the controls in the client - supplier chain, meet the client 's requirements and cover the requirements of use, opportunity, agreed cost and duration. The production line of the most sold product was selected and the critical characteristics of the global process were determined with key suppliers, inputs, outputs and users. The product that was selected represents 60% of the company's sales and has a high rejection percentage, which is equivalent to monthly losses of $ 12,500,000.00 dollars. Maintenance is a set of activities that are carried out daily in the equipment, including inspection, lubrication, cleaning, minor interventions, change of tools and pieces studying possible improvements. Progressive maintenance is a pillar of the most important in the pursuit of benefits in an industrial organization. The maintenance of quality seeks to establish as a purpose that the team has the \"zero defects\". The need to apply the RCM, is due to the fact that the Sterilized equipment had a very low availability of equipment, as well as an increase in maintenance costs, in the scrap of materials, in addition to affecting the quality and safety of the sterilized product. The sterilizing equipment was manufactured in 1955, and with the passage of time, most of its internal metal components had a high rate of corrosion, generating a poor synchronization, damaging the product to be sterilized. A prototype has been designed and manufactured by the Academic Group(CA) named \"Predictive Maintenance Systems\", UTCH-CA-13”, belonging to the Technological University of Chihuahua(UTCH), in the career of Industrial Maintenance. Safran Company contacted the UTCH Industrial Maintenance career, requiring support on leaking in molds. The methodology followed by the Academic Group consists of a visit to the plant in order to visualize the leaking failures on molds , then developed of a hermetic system in the UTCH simulating the mold test conditions, initial tests for the detection of vacuum leaks starts in the laboratory using an ultrasound prototype and hermetic system tester. In the production floor at Safran plant, leakage tests were carried out on the molds using the prototype. Final results were the successful detection of mold vacuum leakage considered as critical issue in the production of the Safran plant.
