Over time, organic agriculture in Indonesia continued to develop until it became a way of agriculture that is now supported by the government and became the object of agricultural policy with the aim of large-scale industrialization. Therefore, this study aims to conduct a review of the three pioneering groups of the organic movement in Yogyakarta, some of which were once studied, namely the World Food Day group in Ganjuran, farmers groups and one of young organic farmer activist figure in Kalongan, Sleman, and the Sahani Organic Community. Specifically, this study aims to document the narrative of the formation process of groups and organic social movements in Yogyakarta and the values and ideology about organic agriculture revealed from the narrative. This research will also observe and document the development of group activities over time. Conceptually, this research will be guided by the analysis of organic agriculture as a social movement, focusing not only on group activities but also on the use of language as a manifestation of organic agriculture discourse. To get findings from various research objectives. Divers scientific studies in organic agriculture studies (for example, Farmia 2008, Jahroh 2010, Edwards 2013, David and Ardiansyah 2016) suggest that organic agriculture in Indonesia arises from the initiatives and activities of various nongovernmental organizations. Literature trace from Jahroh denote that the earliest non govermental initiation of organic agriculture in Indonesia conducted through establishment of Bina Swadaya Bhakti Foundation in 1984. These studies point to that several organizations, such as Bina Sarana Bakti (under the auspices of Father Agatho Elsener in Cisarua, West Java), the Bali Organic Association, the Forum for the Environment (WALHI), and the Pesticide Action Network (PAN), played an important role in bringing up the movement organic agriculture in Indonesia in the mid-1980s until the late 1990s. Furthermore, in the first decade of the 21st century, various other social networks and organizations engaged in organic agriculture emerged. Some examples include the Indonesian Organic Farmers Network (Jaker-PO), the Indonesian Development of Education and Permaculture Foundation (IDEP), representatives of the Belgian international NGO VECOIndonesia and the Indonesian Organic Alliance (AOI). David Ardiansyah (2016) consider that the various activities of this organization are the basis of the organic movement in Indonesia and the consolidation of this organic movement network. The early of the Indonesian natural or organic agriculture movement can be traced back to the1970s (Edwards 2013, p. 74),when it first emerged as a response to the sociohidden political and environmental impacts of the gov","PeriodicalId":307157,"journal":{"name":"Annual International Conference on Social Sciences and Humanities (AICOSH 2020)","volume":"19 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-07-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128525233","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The government made a breakthrough in the form of an integrated service and referral system as one of the important instruments in improving the welfare of the poor. The Integrated Service and Referral System (ISRS) according to the Regulation of the Minister of Social Affairs No. 15 of 2018 is a service system that identifies the needs and complaints of the poor and poor people and makes referrals to program managers handling the poor and disadvantaged people at the center and the regions. ISRS in Regency/City began to grow in 2016 after previously conducted research from 2013 under the name \"Pandu Gempita\". The main objective of this research is to provide input to the government in improving the quality of ISRS services for the poor. The approach used in this study is a mixed method (quantitative and qualitative). The lesson that can be drawn from this study is that the competency of staff has a very high influence in improving services to the poor. Therefore in an effort to improve ISRS services, staff competence must be increased which consists of motivation, attitude, self-concept, science and skills with priority scale that takes into account the results of the research. Therefore, it is necessary to support digital village sustainability by preparing human resource competencies both for village apparatus and their communities. This paper is the result of a survey on Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) competencies of village apparatus and communities as a main factor in preparing a digital village sustainability model. Respondents were divided into two groups namely the village apparatus group and the village community group. This study analyzed subject trainings needed by the respondent as an effort for sustainability of the digital village, followed by exploring supporting factors for digital village sustainability.","PeriodicalId":307157,"journal":{"name":"Annual International Conference on Social Sciences and Humanities (AICOSH 2020)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-07-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130646931","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This study aims to investigate the relation of perceived family distress to forgiveness, hope, and satisfaction with life among Indonesian adolescents. Participants were 909 Indonesian students at a vocational high school (M Age =15.93; SD Age =.909; male=60.3%; female=39.7%). Perceived family distress was measured with the Brief Family Distress Scale and mental health conditions were examined using the Forgiveness Scale, the State Hope Scale, and the Satisfaction with Life Scale. Data were analyzed using Spearman’s rho correlation. The results showed that perceived family distress was negatively and significantly related to forgiveness, hope, and satisfaction with life. The three dimensions of forgiveness (self, others, and situations) and agency subscale of hope were negatively predicted by the perceived family distress, but not on the pathway’s subscale of hope. While perceived family distress had a weaker relationship with self-forgiveness in male teenagers, perceived family distress in female teenagers was not significantly related to the forgiveness of others. Hope and its agency subscale in male teenagers were not significantly related to perceived family distress, but those correlations in female teenagers showed significant relationships. Both male and female teenagers showed no significant relationship between perceived family distress and the pathways subscale of hope. Forgiveness, hope, and satisfaction with life when analyzed in pairs had a positive and significant relationship. Compared to male teenagers, forgiveness in female teenagers played a greater role in increasing hope and satisfaction with life.","PeriodicalId":307157,"journal":{"name":"Annual International Conference on Social Sciences and Humanities (AICOSH 2020)","volume":"37 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-07-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124850071","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Such features are beneficial for SMEs with limited resources and capabilities, particularly women entrepreneurs. Literature have shown that using social media can help women worldwide to empower themselves in political, social, cultural and economic sectors. Social media characteristics allow users to share information, participate, interact and modify contents to help women empowerment. Considering the large number of women entrepreneurs in Indonesia, it is important to examine how women in Indonesia use social media as an empowerment tool for them. Using qualitative content analysis, this study categorizes the content of text and visual data on social media, particularly Instagram owned and operated by women-entrepreneurs. Data were collected from two Instagram accounts owned by two women-entrepreneurs in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. An iterative analysis was then conducted by comparing data with theoretical concepts used in this research. This research found that in both cases social media elements were utilised effectively. Furthermore, the decision to use Instagram and Facebook rather than other social media platforms was based on their experience in using these platforms. Social media, particularly Instagram allows also both cases to collaborate with other women entrepreneurs or other communities. This study concluded that women empowerment is shown on how the women entrepreneurs studied use social media.
