In doing so, I argue three points. First, the rescript's reference to an earlier decision of Alexander the Great elucidates the confusing and frequently debated sequence of tyrannies on Eresos during the years c.337-332 BC. Importantly, it confirms John Bert Lott's argument for two sets of tyrannies at Eresos, not three as has been commonly argued. Second, the rescript elucidates Alexander's actions as hegemon of the League of Corinth in the years 334-332 BC and provides insights into how he balanced, and abused, his roles as League hegemon and Macedonian basileus during the liberation of western Asia Minor. Third, the rescript reveals the continued importance of Alexander the Great and his edicts during the war between his Successors Polyperchon and Kassandros in Greece.","PeriodicalId":30714,"journal":{"name":"TYCHE - Contributions to Ancient History Papyrology and Epigraphy","volume":"31 1","pages":"21-21"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-03-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"48807189","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Es handelt sich um den Privatbrief eines signifer an einen unbekannten Adressaten. Der signifer berichtet, dass der praefectus Aegypti eine Prufung der Kassenfuhrung der signiferi angeoordnet hat. Die herausragende Bedeutung des Textes liegt darin, dass durch ihn erstmals in aller Klarheit zwei Sachverhalte dokumentiert werden, uber die sich bisher nur mutmasen lies, dass namlich zum einen in der Finanzverwaltung der romischen Armee zwei unterschiedlich gespeiste „Kassen“ existierten, namlich das kaiserliche Konto (λόγος Καίσαρος = ratio Caesaris) und die deposita, und dass zum anderen die σημeαφόροι (signiferi) auf beide Kassen Zugriff hatten. The article presents the first edition of a Hamburg papyrus from Roman Egypt. It is a private letter of a signifer to an unknown recipient. The signifer reports that the praefectus Aegypti has ordered an audit of the signiferi’s cash management. The preeminent significance of the text lies in the fact that for the first time, two issues are now clearly documented which have so far only been surmised. First, the financial administration of the Roman army consisted of two separate \"cash registers\", namely the imperial account (λόγος Καίσαρος = ratio Caesaris) and the deposita. Second, the σημeαφόροι (signiferi) had access to both accounts.","PeriodicalId":30714,"journal":{"name":"TYCHE - Contributions to Ancient History Papyrology and Epigraphy","volume":"31 1","pages":"22-22"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-03-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"42824340","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

These overlaps and the expression of despair demonstrate the similarities between the two genres and the similarities in the social and cultural circumstances that produced these texts. A new examination of the inscription, still standing in the so-called Piazzale delle Corporazioni, shows that the statue most likely was inaugurated on 19 September, the birthday of the emperor Antoninus Pius. The choice of day is a sign of imperial loyalty and agrees with a typical Ostian pattern for scheduling important events.","PeriodicalId":30714,"journal":{"name":"TYCHE - Contributions to Ancient History Papyrology and Epigraphy","volume":"31 1","pages":"5-5"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-03-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"46940843","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

A significant public data resource has been developed by the NIH ClinVar initiative, which includes submissions from hundreds of laboratories and clinics worldwide. We analyzed a subset of ClinVar data focused on specific clinical areas and we find high reproducibility (>90% concordance) among labs, although challenges for the community are clearly identified in this dataset. We further review results for the commonly tested BRCA1 and BRCA2 genes, which show even higher concordance, although the significant fragmentation of data into different silos presents an ongoing challenge now being addressed by the BRCA Exchange. We encourage all laboratories and clinics to contribute to these important resources.</p>","PeriodicalId":30714,"journal":{"name":"TYCHE - Contributions to Ancient History Papyrology and Epigraphy","volume":"4 1","pages":"166-176"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"https://sci-hub-pdf.com/10.1142/9789813207813_0017","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"89303955","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"OA","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
