The key to the success of GSCM is the selection of suppliers and the allocation of the proper order by taking into account environmental aspects. This decision involves several criteria and must also pay attention to the relationship between criteria. This study proposes a hybrid procedure to solve Green Supplier Selection and Order Allocation (GSSOA). The integration of Decision Making Trial and Evaluation Laboratory (DEMATEL), Analytic Network Process (ANP), and Multi-Criteria Goal Programming (MCGP) are proposed to solve this problem. The DEMATEL is used to calculate the relationship between criteria. Furthermore, the ANP is proposed to determine the weight of the criteria and supplier ranking. Finally, the MCGP method is offered for allocating orders based on priority suppliers. A case study on the food industry in Malang, Indonesia, was conducted to apply this procedure. The results showed that the low defects rate criterion is the most important compared to other criteria. The best supplier was successfully selected, and the order allocation was completed. Order allocation priority is to suppliers D, C, A, and B. This study also presents a sensitivity analysis for order allocation.","PeriodicalId":30702,"journal":{"name":"Jurnal Optimasi Sistem Industri","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-11-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"48361182","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The high number of conventional motorcycle users can increase the number of pollutants and combustion emissions in the environment. This condition has encouraged the transition to a sustainable transport system that will be needed for decades to come, especially for the electric motorcycle to resolve the issue. This research aims to predict and estimate the market share of electric motorcycles by considering life cycle cost per kilometer. System dynamics simulations are developed to model the adoption-diffusion of electric motorcycles in Indonesia. This model has four main modules: an electric motorcycle module, a conventional motorcycle module, an economy module, and a consumer market module. This model shows a positive trend of EM market share from 2021-2030, with the market share value of EM is 0,411 in 2030. The development of retail price subsidy and electricity price scenarios is also carried out to determine the right policies to accelerate the adoption-diffusion process. Based on the scenario, the provision of retail price subsidy and a decrease in electricity price can increase the value of the EM Market Share.","PeriodicalId":30702,"journal":{"name":"Jurnal Optimasi Sistem Industri","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-11-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"43425001","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The current supplier selection model determines the selected supplier based on evaluating one aspect of the criteria (product aspect). The selection of suppliers with poor performance occurred between 2018-2020 related to the delivery of goods that exceeded the deadline and goods that did not meet specifications. The first objective of this research is to analyze and determine the relevant priority criteria for selecting suppliers of rolling stock spare parts for railway companies. The second objective is to determine the rolling stock spare parts supplier by using the evaluation criteria determined in the previous process. The method used in this research is the integration of the Fuzzy Delphi Method (FDM), Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP), and Technique for Others Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solutions (TOPSIS). FDM is used to select important criteria for the selection of suppliers of rolling stock parts. AHP is used to assist in choosing various criteria through evaluation in determining the criteria's weight. TOPSIS is used to assess supplier ratings. A total of 13 criteria from 19 alternative criteria have been selected for railway companies, especially in selecting rolling stock spare parts suppliers. Furthermore, the selection becomes the basis for bidding. Finally, Supplier A is the supplier with the highest relative closeness value (0.591), followed by Supplier B (0.545), and the lowest is Supplier C (0.282).","PeriodicalId":30702,"journal":{"name":"Jurnal Optimasi Sistem Industri","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-11-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"47511382","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The main reason of this tool design was due to the worker’s complain of feeling pain during the feeding process. Evaluation was performed based on Nordic Body Map questionnaire result, physiological workload, and NIOSH lifting equation calculation. The observed work ranged from the feed filling in the basket until all feeds were distributed. The results showed that the %CVL was in the range of 18%-30% and the energy consumption of workers was in the range of 1.24-3.00 Kcal/minute. Thus, physiologically, the work activities carried out by the feed workers were categorized as very light workload. Meanwhile, evaluation using Lifting Index (LI) methods in the process of feeding showed the LI value ranged from 0.9-1, therefore this activity is safe to perform manually. Based on the prototype evaluation on the feeding aid, the process of feeding activities was more effective 1.5 times faster than the old tools. In addition, with the use of this new tool, the feeding process was easier to adjust the dose each time.","PeriodicalId":30702,"journal":{"name":"Jurnal Optimasi Sistem Industri","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-05-18","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"45385428","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The proposed framework was applied in a weaving process of a textile company in Indonesia. The seven classical Lean wastes were identified using value str e am mapping (VSM). The result was then analyzed using the waste assessment model within which waste relationship matrix (WRM) and waste assessment questionnaire (WAQ) according to the answers of the head of weaving division studied. The major source of wastes was then determined utilizing the value stream analysis tool (VALSAT). In order to thoroug h ly examine the root cause of such dominant wastes and to propose corrective plans to minimize the waste, a fishbone diagram was used. As the main result, this study provides a lean waste analysis framework with examples to orientate managers about wastes. Particula r ly in our specific case, the results demonstrate that the waiting and defect become the most significant wastes that need to be treated. These findings allow a company to organize its activities and select tools or practices to optimize its efforts to create proper corrective plans in eliminating waste. In our study, the plans include periodic maintenance of weaving machines, clear division of tasks on the distribution of weft yarns, and eliminating unnecessary activities. In addition, it is mandatory to ensure the quality of warp yarns delivered to the weaving process as well as to perform a periodic calibration of equipment on weaving machines. This study advances in the theoretical and practical field by showing a structured way to incorporate lean analysis that can be adopted for any organization.","PeriodicalId":30702,"journal":{"name":"Jurnal Optimasi Sistem Industri","volume":"20 1","pages":"11"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-05-18","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"48747155","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Since the fuel cost is a relatively high component of transportation costs, in this study, the objective function of VRP has been extended by considering fuel consumption minimization in the situation wherein the loading weight and traveling time are restricted. Based on these assumptions, we proposed to extend the route division procedure proposed by Kuo and Wang [4] such that when one of the restrictions can not be met the routing division continues to create a new sub-route to find an acceptable solution. To solve the formulated problem, the Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) algorithm is proposed to optimize the vehicle routing plan. The proposed methodology is validated by solving the problem by taking a particular day data from a bottled drinking water distribution company. It was revealed that the saving of at best 13% can be obtained from the actual routes applied by the company.","PeriodicalId":30702,"journal":{"name":"Jurnal Optimasi Sistem Industri","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-05-18","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"42681743","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

One type of solid waste produced substantially in this industry is spent bleaching earth (SBE), which comes from a mixture of bleaching earth (BE) and activated carbon (CA) used in the edible oil refining process. SBE that is recycled through a heating process is known as heat regenerated SBE (HRSBE). The process is influenced by two factors as stated in previous studies: temperature and time. In the current study, we report the results of experiments to find the optimal combination of temperature and time in restoring the absorbent quality of SBE by observing four quality parameters: colors (red and yellow), Free Fatty Acid (FFA), and Peroxide Value (PV). The current study uses Response Surface Methodology (RSM) to design the experiments and to find the equations of the relationship between the factors for each response; as well as Goal Programming (GP) to find the most optimal combination of factors in order to achieve aggregated quality targets. The findings show that 3.414 hours of heating at a temperature of 151.64oC allow HRSBE to produce coconut oil in accordance with the expected quality targets.","PeriodicalId":30702,"journal":{"name":"Jurnal Optimasi Sistem Industri","volume":"1 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-11-20","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"42623392","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

To keep the production machine always in the best condition, then the role of maintenance is significant. One of the production machines, namely paper production machine 2 (PM2), has experienced increasing the number of breakdowns significantly, resulting in increased downtimes. Sudden failure causes a lengthy repair time and results in considerable production loss. The corrective maintenance method that is running at this time still not effectively reduce downtime. To minimize the number of downtimes, preventive maintenance is needed, and therefore the Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) method is selected. Besides applying quantitative analysis such as Mean Time To Repair (MTTR), Mean Time To Failure (MTTF), reliability, and preventive cost calculations. This method also conducts qualitative analysis such as Functional Block Diagrams (FBD), critical engine analysis, Fault Tree Analysis (FTA), and Failure and Mode Effect Analysis (FMEA). After implementing the preventive maintenance, there is an increase in reliability in the sub-system of the press section of the paper production machine 2 from only 43% to 56%, while the repair cost has been reduced by Rp 393,258,670 from Rp 5,724,825,736 to Rp 5,331,567,066 each time replacement of components in the press section.
