Bluetooth works on seventy-nine frequencies in 2.4GHz group by 1MHz transporter arrangement. Individually scheme completes occurrence skipping with 1600 hops/s in Pseudo Random method. Bluetooth relates Frequency Hopping Systems (FHSS) used for intervention modification Frequency Hopping Code Division Multiple Access (FH-CDMA for departure of systems). Additional feature is described in this paper around Bluetooth's radio layer. An actual significant term in setting of Bluetooth has Piconet. A Piconet has gathering of Bluetooth strategies which were corresponding to similar skipping arrangement. Bluetooth connections are implemented by different techniques. Research on WSN has recently received much attention as they offer an advantage of monitoring various kinds of environment by sensing physical phenomenon, such as in-hospitable terrain, it is expected that suddenly active to gather the required data for some times when something is detected, and then remaining largely inactive for long periods of time. So, efficient energy saving schemes and corresponding algorithms must be developed and designed in order to provide reasonable energy consumption and to improve the network lifetime for WSN. WSN are networks consist of large number of tiny battery powered sensor nodes having limited on-board storage, processing, and radio capabilities. Nodes sense and send their reports toward a processing center which is called sink node or Base Station (BS). Since the transmission and reception process consumes lots of energy for data dispensation, it is necessary to designing protocols and applications for such networks has to be energy aware in order to prolong the lifetime of the network. The proposed, LEACH-PR (Low Energy Adaptive Clustering Hierarchy Power Resourceful) protocol includes clustering, routing and radio propagation technique by balancing the energy consumption of sensor nodes to improve the efficiency of data transmission and prolonging the network lifetime. The goals of this scheme are, increase the stability period of network, and minimize the energy consumption. Along with healthcare, its application area includes sports, entertainment, battlefield etc. Any time to time posture and position changes of human beings result in changes in node connectivity of the WBAN associated with them. To cope with this situation, the data cluster heads should be changed and adjusted as per the distance between the various sensor nodes. Also, the cluster head must be accessible to all neighbouring nodes to ensure that each node transfers its data packet to the cluster head. This ultimately increases the reliability of WBAN. Energy efficiency is another most important requirement in WBAN to increase the network lifetime. Selection of cluster head plays a crucial role in improving energy efficiency. In this paper, an energy efficient, integrated cluster formation and cluster head selection method where cluster head can be selected dynamically to achieve high fault tolerance is presented. This work has relevance to multi-hop WBAN environment as cluster-based topology involves minimum two hop communication between sensor node and the coordinator node. The proposed technique involves selection by the cluster head the frames having least interference. In this paper patient’s secret information is hidden in the bio-medical signal like ECG/EEG/PPG. The transmitted information generally contains (1) biomedical-signals (2) patient data. Main concerns include privacy and authenticity of the data being transmitted. A secret key is used which is known to sender and receiver. This paper introduces a novel steganography technique that guarantees (1) protection of private data utilizing a key and (2) originality of the bio-medical-signals. To maximize embedding, Fast-Walsh-Hadamard Transform is used to convert the signals into a set of coefficients. The proposed technique can be applied on three bio-medical signals like ECG/EEG/PPG unlike any other technique which uses only one bio-medical signal. To achieve least distortion, coefficients of least significant bit is considered. Joint base station switch OFF and user subcarrier-allocation with guaranteed user quality of service, is shown to be a promising approach for reducing network’s total power consumption. However, solving the aforementioned mix-integer and nonlinear optimization problem requires robust and powerful optimization techniques. In this paper, teaching-learning based optimization algorithm has been adopted to lower cellular network’s total power consumption. The results show that the proposed technique is able to reduce network’s total power consumption by determining a near optimum set of base stations to be switched OFF and near optimum subcarrier-user assignments. It is shown that the proposed scheme is superior to existing base station switch OFF schemes. In this article, we study the Quality of Service (QoS) mechanism to guarantee certain levels of service to various traffic flows with the help of weighted fair queuing (WFQ) hierarchical scheduler. There are various approaches to recognize emotions like facial expression, audio signals, body poses, and gestures etc. Physiological signals play vital role in emotion recognition as they are not controllable and are of immediate response type. In this paper, we discuss the research done on emotion recognition using skin conductance, skin temperature, electrocardiogram (ECG), electromyography (EMG), and electroencephalogram (EEG) signals. Altogether, the same methodology has been adopted for emotion recognition techniques based upon various physiological signals. After survey, it is understood that none of these methods are fully efficient standalone but the efficiency can be improved by using combination of physiological signals. As the hosts move often resulting in dynamic topology of the network, routing seeks more attention. Therefore, routing protocol using node’s location information like LAR (location aided routing) has emerged as potential solution. Here, the route discovery is limited to a small region named as request zone in contrast to blind flooding over the entire network. Also it is noticeable that the shape and size of the request zone play a vital role in enhancing the protocol’s performance. After various analyses it was concluded that for higher node density, elliptical shaped request zone performs better than other possible shapes. Further, suitable route must be chosen based on current load status of the network so that successful delivery of packets is ensured. Generally, omni-directional antennas are used for communication between moving motes. The disadvantage of mobile ad hoc networks with omni-directional antenna lies in the limited capacity caused by high interference and low spatial reuse. This paper focuses on obtaining optimal size for request zone in accordance with varying node density. Further, optimal path between source and destination is selected using Dijkstra’s algorithm. To enhance the lifetime of the network emphasis is given to design energy efficient routing algorithms. In WSN, sensor nodes which are nearer to the base station having a task of collecting data for the entire area and send to the base station. This node has an additional load and depletes its energy faster. This paper addresses the problem of lifetime maximization by load balancing. This paper proposes energy efficient load balanced data collection algorithm considering different network parameter (e.g., density, degree). In this method, Data collection tree topology is built at the sink node. Performance of the proposed algorithm is evaluated by considering various parameters like topology, availability of resources and the energy utilization of nodes in different paths of the tree, which may vary and ultimately impacts the overall network lifetime.
