Subakti","doi":"10.24071/snfkip.2018.30","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.24071/snfkip.2018.30","url":null,"abstract":"Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis dalam memahami konsep-konsep sejarah dan hasil belajar sejarah secara konstruktivistik melalui penggunaan model pembelajaran berbasis masalah. Metode yang dipergunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas model Kemmis dan Taggart. Instrumen yang dipergunakan adalah pedoman pengamatan untuk berpikir kritis dan tes hasil belajar sejarah. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas 10 IPS 1 SMA Negeri 10 Kota Yogyakarta berjumlah 28 siswa. Hasil penelitian (1) Penerapan pendekatan berbasis masalah dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis dan hasil belajar sejarah siswa; (2) Penananman konsep materi melalui pendekatan berbasis masalah dapat mempercepat dan mempermudah pemahaman para peserta didik; (3) Lewat pendekatan pembelajaran berbasis masalah, siswa semakin aktif dalam mencari dan menggali pengetahuan baru; dan (4) Dalam prosesnya, pendekatan pembelajaran konstruktivistik mampu menarik minta siswa dalam mempelajari mata pelajaran sejarah. Media to explore Indonesian hero characters, is very important to respond to the changes in Revolution 4.0 because using the media of student learning easily absorbs abstract things into concrete as described by Edgar Dale's theory. This article uses descriptive qualitative methods to illustrate the use of several historical and media learning media in accordance with Edgar Dale's theory, specifically to discuss the character of Diponegoro. The results of this study serve to strengthen the character of the nation's children, so that with the existing technological advances do not change their identity and identity as a culture-rich nation. Hasil dari penulisan ini menggambarkan penggunaan Canva sebagai inovasi dalam media presentasi telah dipraktekkan pada mahasiswa pendidikan sejarah Universitas Sanata Dharma. Harapan dari artikel ini adalah agar para pengajar sejarah mampu mengaplikasikan pembelajaran sejarah secara mudah dan dapat mengikuti perkembangan teknologi, tanpa menghilangkan karakter bangsa di dalamnya.
