It aims to provide a convenient Cloud Service for Medical Imagery Grid applications. It extends our GIC architecture with an implementation of a light version of the Virtually-distribution Parallel Architecture and the Multi-level Services architecture that permit the deployment of distributed Grid applications onto our platform. We propose these architecture as solutions to achieve both the convenience of PaaS Cloud services and the richness of Grid applications. Several attempts have been made to create performance models for web servers. The paper describes modeling a Web server to be controlled by Feedback control scheme. Feedback command theory was initially used to control of industrial processes. Its use for the control of performance software is recent. It provides a number of mathematical tools which can be used to analyze the stability of the commanded system and find the best adjustment that responds to the performance criteria. Our approach proceeds in two steps: system identification and controller design. In system identification, we construct mathematical models of the target system in forms of discrete transfer function focused on single-input single-output (SISO) systems. In the same time, many technologies have known a considerable success these few years. In one hand, the Web service technology is used to support interoperability but it is still not able to support the dynamism and the autonomy aspects. In the other hand, the agent technology is strongly recommended to support these aspects. In this paper, we propose a novel approach that combines these two technologies for a better interoperability of enterprises. Our approach includes a process that allows Web services, which represent the business functionalities of enterprises, to be discovered, invoked, and composed by agents representing these enterprises. The interoperability mechanism is based on the negotiation on these services. However, the localization process is vulnerable to malicious attacks aimed at interrupting the functionality of location-aware applications. The wormhole attack is a particularly challenging one since the external adversary which acts in passive mode, does not need to compromise any nodes or have access to any cryptographic keys. In this paper, wormhole attack in DV-hop is discussed, and a Wormhole-free DV-hop Localization scheme (WFDV) is proposed to defend wormhole attack in proactive countermeasure. In this paper, we are interested to the validation phase in the process of requirements engineering in a cooperative context. The cooperation is not a recent practice because people cooperate since always. However, the cooperation, such as it reappears nowadays, is not simply a team work, it wants to be structured and organized in order to produce better results. To this purpose we propose a methodology which presents a collaborative approach of the requirements validation process based on the concepts of competences and multi-viewpoints. In this context, the singing voice classification is a promised trend. In this paper, we shall present our experiments concerning the classification of singers according to their voice type, and their voice quality. Some experiments were carried in which two sets of parameters are used in addition to the use of two classification approaches: The GMM (Gaussian Mixture Models) and the VQ (Vector quantization). Unfortunately, many parameters have to be tuned for any metaheuristic, and their values may have a great influence on the efficiency and effectiveness of the search. The exploration of an optimal combination of such values may be difficult and big time consuming. Clerc et al have defined a parameter-free algorithm for PSO (Particle Swarm Optimization), called TRIBES. In this paper, we propose to adapt TRIBES to solve discrete problems. To highlight our approach, we treat of the well-known NP-Hard Traveling Salesman Problem (TSP) problem. Modifications in different mechanisms and formulae adaptations are made, like in the generation process of the particles and in the displacement strategies. The experimentations results show the good behavior of the “Adapted TRIBES”. In this paper, we propose a solution based on the omega failures detector. The algorithm is highly adaptive with ad hoc networks in the sense that it can tolerate intermittent failures, such as link failures, sudden crash or recovery of mobile nodes, network partitions, and merging of connected network components associated with ad hoc networks. In addition, the algorithm reduces the number of exchanged messages to make it energy efficient.
