The AAIC contains two techniques to improve the quality of decompressed images. The first is a Mean Adaptive Image Coding (MAIC) to reduce the impact of noise on image compression. The second is a Content-based Bit Exchange Technique (CBBET) to provide an adaptive bit distribution which improves the image quality while preserving fixed word length compression feature. However, it is nontrivial to achieve good performance in different facets of metrics at the same time. In this paper, we present the performance of an Adaptive Scheduling MAC (AS-MAC) protocol with different Adaptive Scheduling period (AS-period) in multi-hop networks. AS-MAC achieves very good performance in energy-efficiency, end-to-end delay and packet delivery ratio (PDR) in different traffic loads, especially in the scenario of high traffic load. The proposed spherical motor consists of a ball-shaped rotor with a full circle of 8 permanent magnet (PM) poles and a spherical-shell-like stator with two layers of circumferential 24 air-core coils. Based on the torque model of the PMSM, the relationship between current input and torque output can be demonstrated. We design the open-loop controller by decoupling the spinning motion control, which is based on the torque equilibrium theory, from the inclination motion control. Two types of spinning motion control models are proposed and analyzed. The open-loop controller can make the PMSM have the ability to spin continuously and tilt to certain angle. The reduction in number of main switches can also increase the reliability because the control circuits and the auxiliary circuits are thereby reduced to two sets. All main switches in the proposed rectifier operate at zero voltage switching (ZVS) turn-on, while the auxiliary switches operate at zero current switching (ZCS) turn-off. Moreover, the proposed rectifier achieves a near unity power factor, sinusoidal input currents, a regulated output voltage and a bidirectional power flow capability. Finally, a small-signal model is derived and a feed-forward control is presented to achieve almost zero output impedance and zero audio susceptibility. First, the field-oriented mechanism is applied to formulate the dynamic equation of the PMSM servo drive. Then, an adaptive backstepping approach is proposed to compensate the uncertainties in the motion control system. With the proposed adaptive backstepping control system, the rotor position of the PMSM drive possesses the advantages of good transient control performance and robustness to uncertainties for the tracking of periodic reference trajectories. Moreover, to further increase the robustness of the PMSM drive, a RFNN uncertainty observer is proposed to estimate the required lumped uncertainty in the adaptive backstepping control system. In addition, an on-line parameter training methodology, which is derived using the gradient descent method, is proposed to increase the learning capability of the RFNN. The investigation focuses on the effect of the high-frequency current on the dischargeable capacity of the battery. Included are the current profiles of triangle, saw-tooth, and trapezoidal waves, which are produced from commonly used DC-DC converters. Experimental results show that the discharging current with a higher frequency or a sharper uprising waveform has less dischargeable capacity. Compared with other rotating frame detection algorithms, the algorithm only need the voltage and current instantaneous values instead of the voltage phase angle. The method can be summarized as follows: Firstly, for the system which contains uncertainties and/or disturbances, we design the integral feedback mechanism with a variable gain so that the disturbances and uncertainties can be rejected. Secondly, for the remaining part of the system, we choose the proper state feedback mechanism to ensure the required performance. Theoretical analysis is provided to guarantee the stability or even optimization of the relevant control system. Comparative analysis is also provided to show the advantages of the method. The proposed sliding-mode cloud hybrid controller is a combination of sliding-mode controller (SMC) and cloud controller, which inherits the benefits of these two methods. The cloud controller, with the sliding-mode function as its input, is used to replace the discontinuous switch control part in SMC to alleviate the chattering phenomenon effectively. The design procedure of the proposed controller is described in detail. The Lyapunov stability method is adopted to guarantee the convergence condition. A Genesio chaotic system is used to illustrate the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed method. Traditional global histogram equalization usually causes excessive contrast enhancement while local histogram equalization may cause block effect. To overcome these problems, a new method for image contrast enhancement is developed. The novelty is that the weighted average of histogram equalization and exponential transformation are combined and the level of the contrast improvement is adjustable by changing the weighting coefficients. The proposed algorithm not only achieved adjustable contrast enhancement, for color image, it also weakened the situation of lacking color due to the risen of intensity, thus increasing the image saturation.
