One of the common rehabilitation aids for stroke sufferers with drop-foot is Ankle Foot Orthosis (AFO). This tool serves as a stabilizer for road pattern balance. However, most of the AFO used is passive, so it doesn't help users run properly. Therefore, an active AFO system has been designed as a rehabilitation aid. This AFO is designed with motor control from myoelectric feedback signal (EMG) and also a semi-dynamic ankle joint so that it is more flexible to help the user when stepping. The AFO movement set of to the foot's position in Dorsi and Plantarflexion conditions based on the EMG parameter received by the control unit. Then, the angle sensor standardizes the user's ankle position so that the foot fits the states that have set. This design uses the fuzzy logic method, which functions to control the rotation of the servo motor. The interface system is for monitoring parameters. In this design, pressure sensors (force), EMG, and angle sensors transmitted wirelessly to a computer are used for data analysis under the needs of real-time statistical data processing.","PeriodicalId":303470,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Electrical, Energy and Power System Engineering","volume":"10 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-06-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124520519","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The exchange of various forms of information ranging from text, sound, images and video through this media is inseparable from the threat of criminal crime through digital data theft. Data security aspects are very important to be considered, one of which is data in the form of text. Text data is commonly used in short message services (SMS), chat in various Android applications or in the use of logins and passwords. This research will create an application on Android for securing text data through cryptographic techniques with a layered algorithm using three types of algorithms namely Caesar, Blowfish and AES Algorithms (Advanced Standard Encryption). This application can run on Android 5.0 (lollipop) or above, which can be used to encrypt and decrypt text messages. The test results show that the results of the initial text that was encoded through the encryption process can be safely returned by the decryption process without the slightest mistake with the original text. The encryption test for capital letters, numbers, and punctuation can be completely decrypted.","PeriodicalId":303470,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Electrical, Energy and Power System Engineering","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-06-07","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132891593","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

An LKSA Robbani is one of the institutions that help in handling family and child cases by National Standards for Child Care. In solving child problems, the institution must open the previous case data to determine the appropriate solution, such that the service process becomes long. Therefore, an application software is needed that can help the institution to be faster. The developed system is using the Case-Based Reasoning (CBR) Method. The advantage of this method is how to adapt the solutions of the previous case, as well as in seeking similarity in each case that the most significant similarity value is considered the most similar case. The method is very suitable for building the application. The system that was built had to do a trial before being used by the user. The trial result was carried out of the system with manual calculations using the case-based reasoning method. To support reliable network technology, a centralized network is needed so that network traffic can be managed more easily. Software-Defined Network (SDN) technology is a centralized network that provides a separation between control planes and data planes in different systems. This study discusses the optimization of network management at the University of Riau (UNRI) using SDN. Optimization is done by designing a UNRI computer network in the form of SDN then simulated using the Mininet. Quality of Service (QoS) analysis is performed from the measurement results using Wireshark. The network simulation results give a delay value of 0.506 ms, 0% packet loss, the throughput of 590,392 Mb / s and jitter of 0.093 ms. The SDN network provides better delay and jitter performance compared to conventional UNRI networks with a delay value of 13,874 ms, 0% packet loss, 635.1 Mb/s throughput and 2.6 ms jitter. UNRI's SDN network design is worth considering because it has better QoS values, delay, and jitter below ITU standards and conventional networks.","PeriodicalId":303470,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Electrical, Energy and Power System Engineering","volume":"91 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-10-08","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133706770","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
