The routine preoperative ultrasound is not able to identify this ectopic gallbladder and thus the diagnosis is practically made during surgery.\u0000A 47-year-old male patient went to the hospital reporting that he began to feel colic pain in the epigastrium, after fatty feeding and associated with nausea and vomiting. The ultrasonography showed only changes in the gallbladder wall and the CT scans images the presence of lithiasis in the gallbladder.\u0000In the surgery, after the release of these adhesions, we visualized the gallbladder located on the left lobe of the liver and we performed laparoscopic cholecystectomy. The postoperative evolution was satisfactory without complications. The patient received hospital discharge in good clinical conditions, with the recommendation to stay in outpatient follow-up. This approach differs from voluntary counselling and testing, which is client-initiated. Adolescents and young adults especially those in colleges are a sexually active group of people which makes them prone to HIV infection. Therefore, there was need to conduct this study to determine the perception of students on routine HIV testing at the University of Zambia (Ridgeway campus) to determine their attitude towards HIV testing.\u0000Design and Methods\u0000A cross sectional quantitative study was conducted at UNZARidgeway hostels using stratified random sampling to select study participants which included all males and females who were on campus. A semi-structured interview questionnaire was applied to collect data which was analyzed using SPSS version 23software. A Chi-square test was applied for descriptive analysis and results were presented in tables and charts.\u0000Results\u0000Majority indicated that routine HIV testing was a good policy and supported it; though surprisingly 94% of the students were knowledgeable about routine HIV testing and yet their knowledge did not affect their perception of the policy. The inclusion criteria mandated that they were pregnant or had a child in the past two years. The participants could have been subjected to inpatient, or outpatient treatment, or a combination of both modalities during this time. In order to minimize the risk of infection during pandemic times, and protect the health of participants and researchers, the interviews were conducted via telephone beginning with obtaining an informed consent for participation in the study from the patients who were primarily informed in detail about the aims of the study, their rights and protection of their data and anonymity. We used the following methodology: - A structured, non-standardized socio-demographic questionnaire including 11 items regarding age, parity, realized pregnancies, course of pregnancy and delivery, type of treatment, pharmacological therapy, marital status, socio-economic status, educational background, religious affiliation and presence of previously established risk factors in the world literature; - A structured, non-standardized questionnaire regarding the effects of Covid-19 pandemic consisting of 11 questions; - Edinburgh Depression Perinatal Scale (EDPS) This is a 10-questions self-reported scale, which proved to be a valuable and efficient tool for screening perinatal depression. Namely, a presence of clinical depression was registered in 17.2% of the included participants using the EDPS, the percentage of perinatal depression before the COVID-19 pandemic ranged between 10-14% and has been presented in the literature. Of these, 37.8% were registered in Spain, and 40.7% in Canada [3].\u0000\u0000Results: The statistical analysis of data from the structured non-standardized questionnaire for the effects of Covid-19 pandemic showed no statistical significance in the subjectively reported effects from the pandemic on participants’ mental health based on the question from

Evaluation and initial staging of the disease is made once the diagnosis is confirmed. The recommended staging system is the International Staging System (ISS). Which determines the Myeloma prognosis by 2 factors: beta-2 Microglobulin and Serum albumin.\u0000\u0000Goal and Objective: The main goal of this study is to assess the effect of Beta-2 microglobulin and Serum albumin on patient’s survival rate with Multiple Myeloma. The secondary objective is to compare the age at diagnosis with other literature.\u0000\u0000Methodology: The current study was carried out in Hematology Unit, Dubai Hospital, Dubai, Dubai Health Authority (DHA), United Arab Emirates. Chart review was done retrospectively for 49 newly diagnosed patients with Multiple Myeloma diagnosed between the period 2012-2016. Purposive sample was used to those patients who met the inclusion criteria of this study, to be diagnosed and treated in DH. diagnosed and received regular treatment in Dubai Hospital.\u0000\u0000Results: Medina follow-up of the patients in this study was (12.8) months. The 2-year overall survival rate for patients with Multiple Myeloma (n = 49) was approximately 80%. While, the 2-year OS rate based on Albumin level. Patients with albumin level > 3.5 mgdl was significantly higher compared to those who had an albumin level <3.5 mgdl. 100%, 65% respectively, P = 0.033. Moreover, the 2-year OS rate in terms B2MG level. Patients who had a B2MG < 3.5 mgdl OS was slightly higher compared to those who had (3.5-5.5 and 5.5 mgdl). OS rate approximately 85 %, 80 % and 75 respectively, P = .737\u0000\u0000Conclusion: Multiple myeloma (MM) is a very heterogeneous disease. For this reason, various prognostic factors and staging systems have been developed to predict the disease outcome. International Staging System (ISS) is very useful in determine the survival based on serum β2- microglobulin and serum albumin levels. The age at diagnosis in Dubai hospital, United Arab Emirates is much younger compared to other studies conducted worldwide. The sample used in the study was also highly diverse in terms of culture and nationality. Such diversity is largely typical in Gulf especially in United Arab Emirates. Therefore, this can play important role in age at diagnosis.

Those organizations have an opportunity to influence the behavior of healthcare workers and managers collectively. The resulting culture could have remarkable effects on patients, staff, and the overall performance and productivity of the organization. This article seeks to explore the concept of organizational professionalism among healthcare managers and administrators, who observe organization-wide practices such as a patient complaint and suggestion system, interaction with patients and their families, and coordination with health professionals on a daily basis, in Ministry of Health and Prevention, in United Arab Emirates.\u0000\u0000Method: A quantitative descriptive approach was carried out using Administrators Professionalism Survey (APS). The survey was distributed to n=195, n=89 responded (response rate was 46%).\u0000\u0000Results: The majority of participants were female (83%) and Emirati , (76%), administrators (62%), and of middle age (31–40 years, 48%). The average overall agreement across five professional attributes was 76%. The highest score was for patient engagement (84%) and the lowest was response to community needs (71%). Healthcare managers perceived those attributes slightly higher than did administrators, except for certain domains like patient engagement and daily operation. Around one third of participants (26%) suggested that accountability can be cultivated through organization culture.\u0000\u0000Conclusion: The perception of organizational professionalism has some variations among administrators who are at leadership positions than none. The author noticed that healthcare managers were more reluctant to agree or were undecided about many statements across all domains. By contrast, administrators were almost sure about their answers and showed more knowledge about daily operations and patient perceptions. Participants defined accountability as part of organizational professionalism as commitment to assigned roles and responsibilities. In addition, they perceived that accountability can be cultivated through leadership. However, they failed to relate accountability to overall hospital roles and responsibilities, which is a required competency for healthcare managers and leadership in the MOHAP.

Understanding the quantity of a commodity wished to be sold by producers based on different prices and the item needed by consumers wish purchasing is essential in coming up with ideas. Based on the understanding of this and background research on costs in healthcare, specifically family medicine, it is found that healthcare is amongst the essential requirements, and thus the critical focus of the business idea in a physician’s practice focusing on family medicine care in the US. Starting up the business is based on healthcare demands in the market and further the pricing strategy utilized by most family medicine clinics.\u0000\u0000 Through a connection to the business based on visits in hospitals and the quality offered by these service providers, it is noted that the demand is high and is the most expensive sector in the world, but care is ineffective (The Peterson Center on Healthcare, n.d.) thus leading to searching for effective alternatives by consumers. This creates a potential for offering the most effective services to cater to the demands, and as noted by the Peterson Center on Healthcare (n.d.), the US healthcare system is the most expensive, and costs are projected to grow dramatically in the coming years thus creating the most significant business opportunity to entrepreneurs. By adjusting the resources and trying to cater to the demand in various locations, the key idea is to cater to the need and profit from the sector. The concern of gaining information in the market is research on different healthcare websites and the prices offered and the quality of their services. This will aid in adjusting the prices effectively and thus retaining the demand and supply chain.
