Multi-robot systems are gaining a lot of popularity for different applications in indoor and outdoor environments and for executing various tasks in different scenarios. The advantage with multi-robot systems is efficiency by which a task can be completed as compared to single robot system thus allowing more autonomy to the task at hand. In this paper, we present novel techniques for multi-robot system operating in indoor office like environment using semantic mapping. A mapping and navigation algorithm is discussed that uses topological and metric maps. We demonstrate through simulations and experiments, the coordination strategy and discuss the results.","PeriodicalId":300510,"journal":{"name":"2018 IEEE International Conference on Applied System Invention (ICASI)","volume":"28 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-06-22","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128678656","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This research also use HDT (Human Design Technology) to search user's requirements and check design items of drinking water equipment. The results of this study summarize several application design types: 1. Large Size screen information display application, 2. Improve the illumination design of night instruction, 3. Using OLED high color rendering technology to change the appearance of color products. As for the future product application of OLED technology, this study proposed two points for future research recommendations: 1. For the product surface screen, OLED can provide more diversification of display space technology applications; 2. It's necessary to improve the OLED in the long-term display color decline and the Imprinting phenomenon, in order to implement the application of the product design.","PeriodicalId":300510,"journal":{"name":"2018 IEEE International Conference on Applied System Invention (ICASI)","volume":"66 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-04-13","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125143999","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

For parallel programming, functional languages such as Haskell are especially attractive since they reduce the data dependency hindering parallelism. One of the popular parallel programming models of Haskell is Cloud Haskell. Though it is an effective model for the manycore environments, it is quite difficult to use compared with other models. This paper proposes an efficient Haskell programming model for the manycore system named SAM. SAM takes advantages of the outstanding performance of Cloud Haskell and overcomes its disadvantages. To present the performance of SAM, we developed four different applications for the experiment. According to the experimental result, the compilation time of using SAM increased 5%, and execution time reduced 0.2%, respectively, compared with Cloud Haskell. In addition, the code size of using SAM reduced to 86% on the parallel part.","PeriodicalId":300510,"journal":{"name":"2018 IEEE International Conference on Applied System Invention (ICASI)","volume":"59 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-04-13","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132221094","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The study embarked investigates the problem sources of unavailability or lack of timely, relevant and accurate farming information and knowledge for small-scale farmers. The main target is to deal with plant diseases and how to manage them by carefully diagnosing the plants leaves. This work proposes to use image analysis and convolutional neural networks and the ever increasing capability of machine learning such as supervised learning to offer a mobile solution. A Design Science Research Methodology was followed in shaping skeleton of the proposed prototype. The developed prototype will be subjected to three usability measures to test if indeed it is timely, relevant and accurate as the farmers need it to be.","PeriodicalId":300510,"journal":{"name":"2018 IEEE International Conference on Applied System Invention (ICASI)","volume":"20 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-04-13","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124843566","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, there are fewer literatures to discuss why photovoltaic performances of DSSC can be enhanced under low illumination. In this study, we investigated the photovoltaic performances of DSSC based on titanium dioxide (TiO2) — reduced graphene oxide (RGO) composite photoelectrode under the low illumination. Moreover, the composite of TiO2 and RGO is synthesized by hydro-thermal method. Besides, the photoelectrode of DSSC is fabricated by a simple process of spin coating. According to experimental results, the photovoltaic conversion efficiency increases slowly during decreases in illumination, but which falls sharply at the lowest illumination. Furthermore, the photovoltaic conversion efficiency is enhanced from 4.01% to 4.91% under low illumanation. According to experimental results, the reason of increase in photovoltaic conversion efficiency of DSSC under low illumination is due to the improvement of electron injection quantum yield. Moreover, the reason of increase in photovoltaic conversion efficiency is clarified.","PeriodicalId":300510,"journal":{"name":"2018 IEEE International Conference on Applied System Invention (ICASI)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-04-13","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130515404","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
