In this context, the massive MIMO boost up the standard of MIMO as compared to conventional technologies. Due to increasing rate of complexity because of large number of antennas at both transmitter and receiver end, receiver should be designed in efficient manner. This paper proposes two sphere decoders K and K1 modified using K best algorithm. The presented sphere decoders are evaluated for massive MIMO configurations and performance is measured in terms of SER, spectral efficiency and computational time. The K best algorithm has been supported on MATLAB software using 64 QAM modulations for 16×16, 32×32, 64×64 and 128x128 antenna configurations. Simulation shows that the proposed algorithm reduces the computational complexity for higher antenna configurations, besides improving spectral efficiency and reducing the SER.","PeriodicalId":300301,"journal":{"name":"2022 5th International Conference on Multimedia, Signal Processing and Communication Technologies (IMPACT)","volume":"126 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-11-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127398790","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The technology is utilised in the realisation of D latch using split gate technique. Conventional D-latch employs at least 4 NAND gates i.e. 16 MOS transistors for its CMOS implementation which therefore calls for more area as well as consumes more power. The novelty of our design is that it reduces the transistor count that is as low as 3 and thereby enhances the packaging density along with retaining all the benefits of the parent device like elimination of series resistance problem, Low power dissipation, reduced number of junctions and reduction in thermal budget due to inclusion of metal source/drain.","PeriodicalId":300301,"journal":{"name":"2022 5th International Conference on Multimedia, Signal Processing and Communication Technologies (IMPACT)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-11-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123736169","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

WHO accounts for 15% of the world’s population with disabilities, and there is a critical need for assistive systems to aid those persons in carrying out their everyday activities. This study can help disabled people to increase their independence and quality of life. Electrical impulses from the human scalp are detected and converted into control commands that may be utilized to control external equipment, computer screens, and virtual objects in real time. The present work uses the Deep Learning method to interpret motor imagery signals for Brain-Computer Interface applications. ERD patterns are also gathered that represent the activation and deactivation of the motor cortex. In addition, task-related band power changes are recorded in every trial, which can show stimulation of sensory-motor areas. Furthermore, the goal is to categorize EEG data derived from a Motor Imagery task into two classes, viz. left and right, using the convolutional neural networks. The time-frequency pictures of EEG data fed as input to the convolutional neural network were obtained using continuous wavelet transform. The three channels were separated using data segmentation to convert the raw data into images. To get over the issue of few trials in motor imagery tasks, transfer learning strategies are employed. Transfer learning is applied to three premade neural networks GoogLeNet, AlexNet, and ResNet50, to proceed with CNN classification. Upon analyzing results, AlexNet achieved the best accuracy among the others.","PeriodicalId":300301,"journal":{"name":"2022 5th International Conference on Multimedia, Signal Processing and Communication Technologies (IMPACT)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-11-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122879749","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The quest to achieve good drivability, noise-robustness and low-energy operation for deep submicron led to the exploration of the hybrid-CMOS design style. Hybrid-CMOS design style utilizes various CMOS logic style circuits to build new full adders with desired performance. The proposed cell using HSPICE as a framework is implemented with 16-nm FinFET technology. This gives the designer a greater degree of design freedom to target multiple applications, thus significantly reducing design efforts. In this work, a novel design of a full adder is proposed. This full adder is implemented using an XOR–XNOR circuit simultaneously generating the XOR-XNOR full-swing outputs. Proposed design reports 8.08% to 69.5% improvement in the power delay product (PDP) when compared to existing designs.","PeriodicalId":300301,"journal":{"name":"2022 5th International Conference on Multimedia, Signal Processing and Communication Technologies (IMPACT)","volume":"12 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-11-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123302666","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The sensitivity of HCN gas molecules in doped/undoped armchair graphene nanoribbon is investigated using the industry standard virtual nanolab. While the pure ArGNR is not overly sensitive to HCN gas molecules, its sensitivity significantly increases upon adding dopants. A linear combination of atomic orbital (LCAO) calculator has been used to analyze the adsorption energy, charge transfer and band structure of doped/undoped ArGNR for HCN gas molecule sensing. The results demonstrated that phosphorus-doped ArGNR exhibit a considerable adsorption energy of -0.74 eV which is 55% more than that of an undoped ArGNR while being the most responsive to the HCN molecule. Accordingly, the phosphorus-doped ArGNR is being considered for applications like HCN gas sensing because of its high binding energy and charge transfer values.","PeriodicalId":300301,"journal":{"name":"2022 5th International Conference on Multimedia, Signal Processing and Communication Technologies (IMPACT)","volume":"25 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-11-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127796244","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
