Automatic detection of schizophrenia via Electroencephalography (EEG) has been a widely explored area of research. This work is based on developing a simple as well as an accurate model for automatic diagnosis of schizophrenia by analyzing the EEG patterns. Multivariate EEG data, collected by M.V. Lomonosov Moscow State University, is utilized. A sliding window of 0.5 s duration with 50% overlap is applied to extract Hjorth parameters (Activity, Mobility, Complexity) from EEG of both the normal controls and those with schizophrenic symptoms. In addition, feature dimension reduction is applied to further optimize the model performance using minimum redundancy maximum relevance algorithm. This model performed better than the current state-of-the-art techniques by achieving an overall accuracy of 98.82% using Quadratic Discriminant Analysis (QDA) classifier.","PeriodicalId":300301,"journal":{"name":"2022 5th International Conference on Multimedia, Signal Processing and Communication Technologies (IMPACT)","volume":"311 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-11-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123480552","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This can be a good source of information gathering and prediction in an urban system. Wi-Fi or WLAN packets can be captured and analyzed to gain many insights into a locality like population density estimation, establishments in the zone, etc. Among many different ways of packet capturing, ‘Passive Monitor Mode’ is often used. The passive monitor mode capturing is often done in an area by keeping the sensing device stationary/fixed at a point. However, capturing packets by moving the sensor in a predetermined path has not been done in available works of literature. In this paper scanning of an urban stretch was performed keeping the sensors or monitoring types of equipment moving while scanning. The experiment conforms to a dynamic capturing of Wi-Fi packets in passive mode. The captured packets were stored and analyzed for sensed information. The captured packets revealed lots of data that can be interpreted using data analytics and AI techniques to gain lots of insights into an urban setup for various purposes. The results are presented hereby in the paper and a few suggestive uses are also presented supporting the need for the proposed activity or methodology.","PeriodicalId":300301,"journal":{"name":"2022 5th International Conference on Multimedia, Signal Processing and Communication Technologies (IMPACT)","volume":"110 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-11-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121422485","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

With the rapid advancement of machine learning algorithms and numerous real-world applications of brain-computer interface for regular people, emotion categorization from EEG data has recently gained a lot of attention. Researchers previously have little knowledge of the specific interactions between distinct EEG characteristics and various emotional states. Using EEG-based emotion recognition, the computer may be able to understand the emotional state of the user. This work is executed with DEAP dataset with 32 channels for EEG recording, it achieves a better classification accuracy with the random forest machine learning (ML) algorithm. In the subject-specific experiment an average best accuracy of 91.26% and in the subject-dependent experiment, the best accuracy of 78.5% is obtained for the random forest classifier. The proposed method is superior to other studies when compared to those using a four-class problem because those have only achieved the best accuracy of 71.43%.","PeriodicalId":300301,"journal":{"name":"2022 5th International Conference on Multimedia, Signal Processing and Communication Technologies (IMPACT)","volume":"279 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-11-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132758074","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The role of CCEs is increasingly critical to retaining distressed consumers as skills and competencies, technical know-how, understanding of customer needs and emotions, and professional attitude of CCEs are instrumental in addressing customer concerns. This paper explores the moderating effects of gender and industry on employee social, emotional, and professional competencies in the Indian service sectors. The research used survey-based data from 210 CCEs of three service sectors (organized retail store, automobile and hotel). Two-way ANOVA was used for the analysis of the data. Results highlight that gender and industry display differential effects on employee competencies. When considering all of this information, body weight is a reliable indicator of health problems. Body measurements including height, weight, and body mass index (BMI) are important because they can be used for a variety of purposes like surveillance, re-identification, picture retrieval systems, and healthcare. The majority of earlier research on automated height, weight, and BMI measurement has made use of 3D whole body videos and 2D and full body 2D pictures. A person's weight in proportion to their height is gauged by their BMI. It serves more as a gauge for calculating total body fat. Because it is frequently used to evaluate health issues, BMI is important. Our chances of living a longer, healthier life are said to be increased by having a healthy body mass index (BMI).The BMI range may be identified and classified using picture analysis, which can help individuals forecast credibility, manage their BMI, and lead healthier lives. There hasn't been much discussion on face estimation. Being overweight has been linked to obesity, diabetes, and cardiovascular disease. Weight is also an important health indicator. Using the methods Linear Regression, Ridge Linear Regression, Random Forest Regressor, and Kernel Ridge Regression, CNN algorithm, and Resnet-50 Architecture, we test the feasibility of estimating height, weight, and BMI from single-shot face photos. In order to estimate height, weight, and BMI, we will evaluate these regression models and select the one with the highest test score.","PeriodicalId":300301,"journal":{"name":"2022 5th International Conference on Multimedia, Signal Processing and Communication Technologies (IMPACT)","volume":"26 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-11-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124141218","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Along with the commercial banks, the cooperative banks have increased access to banking services for a large section of our society Post liberalization the banking industry has seen a lot of change and the cooperative banks have had to adapt to these changes. In view of the increasing emphasis on financial inclusion, the importance of cooperative banks has increased. It is the right time to evaluate the cooperatiuve banks for their ability to meet these expectations of the economy. Efficiency measurement, especially in the banking sector is usually done using ratio analysis. The problem with ratio analysis is the generation of relevant standards to compare the ratios with. In this paper, the authors have used Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) which has become very popular in recent times. DEA is a linear programming-based technique that allows a relative comparison of efficiency amongst a set of decision-making units without the need for external performance standards. In this study, the basic radial model is used to test the input-oriented and output-oriented efficiency of 31 State Cooperative Banks. The Gujarat and Maharashtra Cooperative Banks have emerged as efficient banks in this category of banks.","PeriodicalId":300301,"journal":{"name":"2022 5th International Conference on Multimedia, Signal Processing and Communication Technologies (IMPACT)","volume":"7 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-11-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121241558","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The real and imaginary parts of the holograms are individually transformed using Discrete wavelet transform (DWT). The characteristics of the transformed coefficients is statistically analyzed in terms of mean, variance, and standard deviation and the histograms have also been plotted. Moreover, the correlation between the inter and intra subband coefficients are also analyzed for both the real and imaginary parts at different transform levels. Results suggest that there is negligible correlation among inter and intra subband coefficients and thus DWT may not be a suitable transform to be used on holographic data.","PeriodicalId":300301,"journal":{"name":"2022 5th International Conference on Multimedia, Signal Processing and Communication Technologies (IMPACT)","volume":"16 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-11-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121700303","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
