Moreover, chrematistics is a new paradigm of thinking and, simultaneously, a new methodology of argumentation. In short, it is the paradigm of countereconomical thinking/arguing being based in a precise distinction between economics (gr. oikonomike) and hrematistike, which was made by Aristotle in his first book of Politics. The aim of this paper is twofold. Firstly, the problem – and the aim – is to (re)open the historically present and simultaneously ‘lost’ (hidden) distinction between these two crucial categories of our times. Consequently, the aim is to develop a possible understanding of the distinction. Secondly, in this paper, I have also attempted to emphasize some of the usages of the already existing distinction at the level of the theories of philosophy and economy and the possible critiques of latter. The final but by no means lesser emphasis – and its main hypothesis- of the paper is aiming at the problem of our time in the sense that our current problems and crises are not at all possible seriously to grasp in economic, but primarily in the chrematistic categories and the possibilities of that new paradigm of thinking.","PeriodicalId":30026,"journal":{"name":"Managing Global Transitions","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-06-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"48837319","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In that context, the mobile traffic data exploration provides new insights in tourism market dynamics. Over time, it becomes crucial to approach both new frameworks and real-time monitoring systems to understand how the customer dynamics perceived over mobile traffic, shape the structure of tourism sector in order to make better planning decisions and improve management. Following the stated, the intention of this study is few, namely: (i) to highlight significant figures referring EU-28 digital environment, (ii) to present and elaborate Internet mobile trends, generally and referring hotel and travel agency area, and (iii) to strengthen the tourism managers’ level of awareness regarding the role of mobile internet for business benefits. In research, both theoretical and empirical part, are reproduced secondary data of eu- 28 country, mainly for Croatia and Slovenia respectively. In conclusion part are discussed perspectives of mobile internet in current digital environment, as well as its position within the hotel and travel agencies areas.","PeriodicalId":30026,"journal":{"name":"Managing Global Transitions","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-03-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"46445914","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

We have applied unit root test, co-integration test and FMOLS estimation technique to analyze the data. Data covers 11 Asian countries of three income categories – lower middle income, upper middle income and high income. The study contemplated the annual observations of 35 years from 1980 to 2014. Study revealed that the association between consumption and income is stronger in lower and upper middle income countries. The low level of income determines its maximum use predominantly for consumption. The relation between consumption, income and GDP per capita is stronger for lower middle income countries, thereby the countries with higher income generally tend to make big investments.","PeriodicalId":30026,"journal":{"name":"Managing Global Transitions","volume":"1 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"69339209","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The 13-item scale was applied on 1,969 Serbian adolescents with the aim of exploring general aspects of their anticipations of their personal future. Results show that adolescents highlight the motivational and guiding potential of their own vision of the future. Two factor structures were extracted (named motivational optimistic and cognitive fearful), but each factor was emphasized differently by adolescents. The usefulness of the scale was discussed in the context of youth work and the creation of specific programs aimed to support youth development.","PeriodicalId":30026,"journal":{"name":"Managing Global Transitions","volume":"30 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"69339313","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Firstly, to reopen it from the perspective of the ‘language games’ in the sense of theWittgensteinianmethodology.Within this kind of ‘Wittgensteinian argument’ the connection between the ‘name’ (capitalism) and the ‘thing’ (to pragma, this of that physical thing) is of paramount importance. The emphasis is to show that capitalismis not just a ‘thing’ it is much more. Secondly, paper is trying to reopen the problem of the ‘Great Depression’ and to showthat the capitalism, aswe usually understand it, had already ‘evaporated’ in the thirties and forties of the 20th century. The aim of this second part and simultaneously the aim of the paper is to show that the post-capitalism (‘managerial revolution’ not only in the sense of Burnham, but above all in that of F. D. Roosevelt) has actually already defeated capitalism: but not its own language games spoken still today. The central thesis of the paper is that without seriously re-thinking of the irreversible revolutionary (!) changes from the thirties and forties, we cannot seriously understand today’s ‘globalisation’ and ‘global crisis’ (actually new post-modern depression) and are literary doomed to failure in thinking of the given ‘global society.’","PeriodicalId":30026,"journal":{"name":"Managing Global Transitions","volume":"1 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"69339280","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The purpose of the paper is to point out the role and importance of studying the labor market unemployment determinants of the post-transition countries to provide a proposal for reducing unemployment. In this paper as independent macroeconomic variables have been analyzed gross domestic product, public debt, labor force participation rate and institutional variables like some fixed-term and part-time contracts and expenditures for active and passive labor market policies.An analysis of the labor market unemployment determinants for the Central European eu member countries has been conducted by econometric models of multiple linear regression for each country to determine whether there are differences in unemployment rates between countries within one panel. Results of the research show that in almost all countries, public debt as a macroeconomic variable has a significant impact on unemployment growth, while passive labor market policies of the institutional variables have the most significant impact on the level of unemployment.","PeriodicalId":30026,"journal":{"name":"Managing Global Transitions","volume":"1 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"69339348","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The study is based on a qualitative research on the quota sample of three referential groups of experts by using interview as a method of data collection. The findings of the study confirm that culture, as a holistic and complex system of values and creative potentials, stimulates social cohesion in society, strengthens intercultural dialogue as well as provides for economic effects, all of which is in turn reflected in sustainable development. We suggest the establishment of a fourth pillar, aside the economic, social and environmental, to be incarnated by culture.","PeriodicalId":30026,"journal":{"name":"Managing Global Transitions","volume":"1 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"69339292","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
