It presents the most important relics from individual evolutionary time horizons as significant elements of geotourism offer. They are syste­ matised and analysed chronologically, thus allowing geotourists to gain a broader picture of the surveyed region, and bringing them into the focus of geotourists as tangible proof that even a landscape that was formed millions of years ago can continue to stimulate our interest. V javnem diskurzu je prevladalo stalisce, da begunci/migranti predstavljajo grožnjo, ki jo je treba ustaviti z okrepljenim nadzorom nad mejami in omejitvijo priseljevanja. Zacenjajo jo vsebine fizicnogeografskih orisov Kamniske Bistrice: geomorfoloski razvoj, pedo- in fitogeografske znacilnosti, analiza topoklimatskih razmer ter hidrogeografske poteze. Avtorji so najprej podali sistematicno analizo glavnih dosežkov dosedanjih raziskav, v drugem, obsežnejsem delu pa predstavili lastne raziskave, ki so jih izvajale tri generacije studentov geografije na terenskih vajah, in sicer v obliki tedenskega, zelo intenzivnega empiricnega dela. Both specifying the precise location and knowledge of characteristics of derelict areas, i.e. brownfields, are an important step towards sustainable planning and placement of activities. Kljub prikazanim primerom dobre prakse in stevilnim pozitivnim izkusnjam, ki so prepricali vsaj del mladih v uporabo trajnostnih oblik prometa, pa je potrebno prizadevanja za trajnostno mobilnost podkrepiti s celostnimi pristopi, ki pa zahtevajo aktivno vlogo razlicnih deležnikov. Poleg zgleda starsev je izjemno pomembna tudi ustrezna obravnava trajnostne mobilnosti v solskih kurikulih v celotni izobraževalni vertikali: od vrtca do univerze. The majority of methods for valuing geodiversity is applied for evaluation of geoconservation or geotouristic potential. There is a deficiency of methods that could be used for evaluation of geodiversity and its educational potential. The aim of the paper is to propose a new method for valuing geodiversity for determining the educational potential of an area. The article deals with certain special issues that have arisen as part of the process to transform the landscape from a riverine to a lake system as a result of mining and energy production. Anomalies in the lake system are explained drawing on research and monitoring of the properties and circulation of the lake water. The glacial landforms mentioned by the previous researchers and other landforms in the area were examined, gemorphologically mapped, morphographically and morphometrically analysed and a new map of the extent of the LGM was produced.
