One of the effort is use of traditional herbs, Ginger. Ginger is a thibbun-nabawi herb that known to have antimicrobial activity. This study aims to determine the effect of gargling activity with ginger decoction on salivary profile and in-vivo antimicrobial tests. The study was conducted in University of Darussalam Gontor with respondents who experienced mouth ulcerand dental caries. The treatment was divided into 5 groups, positive control, negative control, ginger decoction in 3 concentrations, 10%, 20%, and 30%. The sample used was respondent's saliva obtained by the spitting method. Samples were tested for pH, and volume and incubated in a microbial growth medium to calculate the number of colonies and observations in a microscope for pathogen identification. Influence of salivary profile and colony count before and after treatment tested with T-Test analysis. The results of the pH test showed an increase in the pH value to be more alkaline after being given a solution of gargling, although the pH increase was the smallest in the negative control group and the highest in the ginger group at 30% (p>0.05). Measurements of saliva volume showed a decrease in saliva volume (p>0.05). Differences in the number of colonies before and after treatment in the control group (+) showed significant differences compared to other groups. The minimum decrease in the number of colonies was showed by the Ginger group of 30% with insignificant differences before and after treatment. Patients who undergo therapy for a very long time will have an impact on the patient's psychology. Psychological impacts are anxiety and sleep disturbances. Anxiety that is constantly felt by the patient and accompanied by poor sleep quality can cause changes in the physiological, endocrine system, cardiovascular system, immune system and nervous system. To overcome sleep disorders and anxiety in hemodialysis patients, non-pharmacological options can be used, namely Lavender Aromatherapy through inhalation. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Lavender Essential Oil Aromatherapy on Sleep Quality and Anxiety in Hemodialysis Patients. The study was conducted on 32 hemodialysis patients. The intervention was carried out for 3 times of administration during intra hemodialysis. The instruments used were the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI) to measure sleep quality and The Zung-Self Rating Anxiety Scale (ZSAS) to measure anxiety which was applied before and before the test. Analysis of test data using one sample t test for both variables partially showed that the difference in the average score of sleep quality and anxiety with each p value of 0.000 means that there is an increase in sleep quality and a decrease in anxiety levels in patients undergoing hemodialysis in the intervention group. Inflammation is the main cause of morbidity in most of the world's population. Inflammation occurs when there is an invasion of foreign bodies and pathogenic agents such as bacteria, parasites, and viruses that cause activation of the immune system. The protective effect of the inflammatory process is actually very good under normal circumstances. However, in chronic inflammation, tissue damage becomes uncontrollable and can lead to various diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis, multiple sclerosis, inflammatory bowel disease, psoriasis and neoplastic transformation. For inflammatory therapy, steroids and non-steroidal drugs (NSAIDs) are usually used, but the use of these drugs can have serious long-term effects. Therefore, the development of anti-inflammatory agents from natural sources such as certain plant species that are safe, efficacious, biocompatible and cost-effective is a rational strategy that can be used to treat inflammatory diseases. One of its species, Guazuma ulmifolia or Dutch teak plant, is widely used in traditional medicine because it contains bioactive compounds, especially proanthocyanidins and flavonoids which have anti-oxidant and anti- microbial properties. The leaves and flowers of Guazuma ulmifolia can be used in fever, gastrointestinal disease, kidney disease and diabetes. Guazuma ulmifolia can protect the gastric mucosa against the harmful effects of NSAIDs through anti-inflammatory and anti-oxidant mechanisms. The prevalence of suffering from uric acid (gout) in Dharmas Raya is 754 elderly Indonesians. The purpose of the literature review is to review the effect of cupping on gout. The literature review is carried out based on issues. In the literature review, this journal uses an average of 5 research journals using pre-experimental with pre-test - post-test design. The literature review strategy according to the PICO and the journals used for the literature review was obtained through data from national and international journal providers through Google Scientist.: Based on 5 studies it was found that one of the results was obtained. The statistical analysis used in this study is statistical analysis. paired t-test. Uric acid levels before and after cupping therapy were 4.91 and 4.33, respectively. One way to make the uterus return to good condition is to perform postpartum care, namely by cupping with the postnatal cupping massage technique. This technique is done by doing massage using cupping on the meridian point area of the abdomen and back. The purpose of this study is to determine the effectiveness of cupping massage in postpartum women on the length of the uterine involution process. This research is a quantitative research using the Quasy-experimental design using the posttest with control design to compare subjects after being given intervention. The research conducted by the researchers was to test the effectiveness of giving cupping massage to the optimization of uterine involution in Demak. Respondents in this study were 3-6 weeks postpartum mothers. The sample size in this study was 30 respondents with 15 respondents in the intervention group and 15 respondents in the control group. In the intervention group, 3-6 weeks postpartum mothers will be given cupping message according to the postpartum visit period. Meanwhile, in the control group, mothers will do postpartum care without massage cupping therapy. Post-test (after intervention) was performed by measuring TFU (weight, diameter, and palpation). There are changes in the body during pregnancy, one of which is in the blood vessel system. These changes make the volume of plasma in the blood increase, this results in dilution of the blood. From these changes, pregnant women are prone to anemia, where the condition of the body lacks blood. Globally, the incidence of anemia reaches 29.9% in women of childbearing age or more than half a billion women aged 15-49 years have anemia. With a prevalence of 29.6% in non-pregnant women of childbearing age and 36.5% in pregnant women of childbearing age. Anemia in pregnancy has several effects such as premature birth and postpartum hemorrhage. So anemia during pregnancy requires serious treatment. There are pharmacological and non-pharmacological treatments for anemia. One of the non-pharmacological treatments that can be done is using dates and honey. Dates and honey contain iron, vitamin C, vitamin B complex and folic acid which are needed in the formation of blood cells. In this case, the researcher conducted a search for evidence of foreign literature traced through electronic media facilities with keyword guidance. The perspective of the mind experienced by the elderly due to seeing and feeling the conditions that occur is at risk of giving psychological pressure to the elderly. The Qur'an which contains a strand of wisdom is expected to make a positive contribution to the psychology of the elderly due to the impact of COVID-19. Research with quantitative type and the number of samples as many as 126 elderly. Analysis of the data used using the Kendall's tau test. The results of this study indicate that there is a relationship between the intensity of reading the Qur'an with psychological stress in the elderly with a P value of 0.000 (p <0.05). The high intensity of reading the Qur'an contributes to the onset of psychological stress in the low and moderate ranges. It is better to take preventive measures than to treat patients who have been exposed to the disease. One of the preventive measures is to fast on Mondays and Thursdays when they are still younger. By fasting, food intake will be controlled so that hyperglycemia, hypercholesterolemia, and hyperuricemia can be avoided. Based on this background, this study aims to determine the effect of sunnah fasting on Mondays and Thursdays on glucose, cholesterol, and uric acid levels in young adult women. This study is an experimental study with two treatment groups, namely the group that is accustomed to fasting sunnah Monday and Thursday for 6-12 months and the group that is not accustomed to fasting as a control. The research subjects were 40 students of University of Darussalam Gontor Female, Mantingan Campus, Ngawi, East Java which were divided into 2 treatment groups. Research subjects have an age range of 19-23 years, weight 40-65 kg, and height 145-165 cm. Measurement of glucose, cholesterol and uric acid levels was carried out once on research subjects using the Easy Touch GCU tool. Analysis of the data used is the Independent-T Test with a significance level of 95% using the SPSS 16.0 statistical program. The results showed that blood glucose levels in the group of young women who were accustomed to fasting were lower than the control group (young women who were not accustomed to fasting). Meanwhile, cholesterol and uric acid levels in the group of young women who were accustomed to fasting were higher than the control group (young women who were not accustomed to fasting).
