The algorithm is based on principal component analysis of generalized Hebb adaptive algorithm in artificial neural network and to do adaptive quantitative coding for principal component coefficients according to the proportion of marginal or textural information of the watermark image. In addition, it adaptively adjusts the embedding depth according to the images features to ensure the invisibility of the watermark. By way of disparting and stochastic embedding into color image watermark, it increases the embedding robusticity of watermark. By utilizing block-concerned technique, it realizes public watermark image algorithm. It respectively applies in face-identifying watermark with abundant marginal information and figureprint watermark with rich textural information, and gains fine feedback.","PeriodicalId":297178,"journal":{"name":"International Conference on Information Acquisition, 2004. The detection system is based on integrated eight homemade miniature potentiostat powered by two 9V batteries. The electrochemical control programme, developed in LabVIEW 6.0, generated the modulation signal, scanned the potential of the working electrode, acquired the current and displayed the results in the form of a voltammogram. The small dimensions, battery operation and inexpensive electronic components make this electrochemical detection system ideal for in situ or field measurements. The utility of the detection system was assessed for the simultaneous determination of four biosensors response to potassium ferricyanide by amperometric and cyclic voltammetry method.","PeriodicalId":297178,"journal":{"name":"International Conference on Information Acquisition, 2004. In the first stage, the coarse face region is found from original image using general method. In the second stage, the proposed method finds the coarse eye and mouth region from multiresolution image using wavelet transformation based on the edge distribution information in the different scale image. Then, the eye and mouths' special site in the original image can be obtained. In the third stage, extract features of eye and mouth. The experimental results have shown that the proposed method can locate eyes accurately from the input image with complex background. Losses (elastic, piezoelectric and dielectric losses) or hysteresis in piezoelectrics are discussed in detail. The relationships of three dissipation factors (correspondent to three losses mentioned above) and equivalent circuit parameters are derived from the hysteresis theory and the piezoelectric equations. It is approved that the dissipation factors are dependant on complex coefficients and can be obtained through measuring the equivalent circuit parameters experimentally. When loaded by increasing stress, the piezoelectric transducer is monitored and the equivalent circuit parameters are measured. Dissipation factor vs. stress curves are plotted. With the theory that losses are considered to consist of four portions: domain wall motion; fundamental lattice portion; microstructure portion and conductivity portion, phenomenology of loss variations with stress is explained.","PeriodicalId":297178,"journal":{"name":"International Conference on Information Acquisition, 2004. This filter is easy to implement by combining linearly the original image with its horizontal and vertical projections. The principle and property of the proposed filter are discussed in detail, and abundant experiments have been done in digital image filtering. It is proved that the filter can reduce the data and enhance the main feature without losing the information about the original data. Algorithms for the frequency's fine-estimation are also essential to improve range estimation. So, a method of estimating the beat signal's frequency is proposed based on discrete Fourier transform (DFT) and interpolation. Simulation results show that the method is adaptive to noise and has high computational accuracy and small computation necessary, which makes it suitable for an online use of frequency-estimation.","PeriodicalId":297178,"journal":{"name":"International Conference on Information Acquisition, 2004. The system can automatically acquire the real-time AE signals and transpiration data from tomato crop respectively with AE sensor and electronic balance, The system also can automatically obtain environment parameters of the greenhouse, such as temperature, air humidity, the density of the sunlight and CO/sub 2/ density, and then according to an optimum control algorithm, the system automatically carried out precision irrigation. The experiment results have shown that AE events increase gradually with the increase of transpiration speed of crops to some extent.
