Sonekar","doi":"10.52228/jrua.2024-30-2-2","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.52228/jrua.2024-30-2-2","url":null,"abstract":"\u0000 The present paper is attempted to measure and compare the difference and discrepancy between the income-based and deprivation-based poverty measurement in poverty of Abhujmadiya tribes of Chhattisgarh. Two international poverty measurement approach is considered for poverty measurement of Abhujmadiya tribes, first income-based measurement developed by World Bank and second, Multidimensional Poverty Index developed by United Nation Development Program (UNDP). Research study is based on primary data of 80 household collected from 8 village of 2 block of Narayanpur district of Chhattisgarh State. Results shows that 90% Abhujmadiya peoples are poor in income-based poverty whereas, 48.43% Abhujmadiya peoples are poor in deprivation-based poverty measurement. A difference of 41.57% is found in the measurement of poverty by both the poverty measurement approach and this discrepancy is more in income-based poverty as compare to multidimensional poverty measurement. But the COVID-19 pandemic has emerged as a devastating shock resulting in huge reverse migration in India as well as in its respective states. In this context the present study tries to investigate labour supply and employment opportunity in rural areas of Chhattisgarh due to COVID-19-led reverse migration and also examines the gender specific impacts of COVID-19 on reverse migrants in Chhattisgarh. The study also suggests the possible measures to rebuild the Chhattisgarh’s rural economy after COVID-19. Thus, the study inculcates both secondary and primary data. Descriptive statistics and regression analysis are computed to get the results. The study found that there is a sudden rise in labour supply in the rural economy of Chhattisgarh. Job loss is the biggest problem faced by migrants followed by loss in income. The study also found that there is no significant impact of reverse migration due to Covid-19 between both the gender in rural Chhattisgarh. Thus, on the basis of primary survey and focused group discussions the study concludes that the returned migrants would surely get back to their normal lives and would gradually afford the better standard of living to themselves as well as to their families. A comprehensive overview of the economic, health and gendered implications of the Covid-19 pandemic reveals the need for a more proactive and on-the-ground strategy to combat the post -crisis scenario in the rural economy of Chhattisgarh. Also, the Covid-19 pandemic have reinforced the need for and the importance of compiling data of migrants. Such a database helps in effective administration of various government interventions. The impact of imparting education through digital platforms have been the focus of this article. The data was collected from students from schools to university doctoral level scholars about their views on online classes. The study reveals that though corporal punishment is barred in schools in India under Section 17 of the Right to Education Act, 2009, it is still in practice to some extent. Furthermore, it is found that although caste (category) and gender-centric practices are minimal, these practices vary depending on the type of school, with private schools showing a higher prevalence of these detrimental practices compared to government schools. Private schools are perceived to have better education, but whether punishment affects achievement is a bigger question. Ravishankar Shukla University, Raipur. A survey method was employed and a well-structured questionnaire was designed for collecting the data from respondents. This study focused to find out various aspects related to the use of e-resources by the target respondents i.e. awareness level, purpose of using e-resources, time spent by the respondents, etc. This study will enhance the infrastructure and basic requirement of e-resources in the library uplift the teaching and learning environment in the university and offer an insight to policy makers and librarians for better use of e-resources. as a result found that the Total 219 (100%) respondent’s use internet for e- resources and other purposes. It is important to measure the author productivity of diabetes research in India. This paper will explore the trends in author productivity related to diabetes research in India over the past few years. This study focused on analyzing Diabetic research published via Web of Science (2018-2020). The results show that a total of 9185 papers were published. The year 2017 had the greatest number of publications, with 745 total documents. The analysis reveals that Journal articles constituted 8577 (93.381%) of total documents of source, followed by Website 406 (4.420%), Books 151 (1.644%), and respectively. Among all authors, V Mohan has published 164 outputs from Madras Diabetes Research Foundation, Chennai, followed by A Misra with 89 outputs in the field of diabetes research. The degree of collaboration is found to be 0.918 from 1938 to 2020 and found multiauthor dominating. The dynamic nature of weightlifting movements and their multifaceted impact on athletes form the backdrop of this study. The research identified key themes such as biomechanics, injury prevention, and the psychological aspects of weightlifting. Leveraging the extensive Web of Science database.\u0000Methodology: In conducting this bibliometric analysis of Olympic weightlifting research, the database of Web of Science was selected as the primary source of data. A comprehensive search until January 8, 2024, yielded 10,103 articles, focusing on weightlifting, snatch, and clean and jerk. The first method involved utilizing specific keywords related to the subject, while the second method entailed identifying articles in selected journals. For inclusion the criteria were fixed to ensure relevance, including peer-reviewed publications in English. Data cleaning procedures addressed errors such as misspelled author names and variations in author affiliations. The VOSviewer 1.6.19 software facilitated bibliometric analysis, with a specific focus on keyword occurrences and co-occurrence mapping to unveil the intellectual structure of weightlifting research. This methodological approach ensures a systematic and comprehensive examination of the extensive body of literature in the field.\u0000Results and Conclusions: The bibliometric analysis presents a vivid snapshot of Olympic weightlifting research trends, showcasing a steady increase in interest over the years. Visualization tools unveil the centrality of \"Power\" and its robust connections with key concepts like strength and performance. The co-occurrence analysis provides a nuanced understanding of the intellectual structure, emphasizing the multidimensionality of weightlifting studies. These findings underscore the growing role of bibliometric analysis in sports sciences.
