Although towel manufacturers have tried to promote their products, they have failed to stop the decline of the industry. Personalization marketing is popular along with the thriving e-commerce. Companies make many video advertisements to promote towels online, but lose consumer attention under the flood of advertisements. Autonomous sensory meridian response (ASMR) advertisements can increase consumer attention. Restated, the sound, smell and touch of a towel might attract consumer interest. This pilot study thus designs an ASMR questionnaire and evaluates its reliability and validity. The results of exploratory factor analysis indicate that the questionnaire design is suitable for formal study and experiment.","PeriodicalId":296534,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 8th Multidisciplinary International Social Networks Conference","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-11-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129369421","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The proposed approach uses the autoencoder's decoder to generate pseudo data to consolidate the model and sets a subset of relevant weights in the encoder layers to learn new knowledge while freezing most weights. It uses no extra storage space to save old data. The experimental results also show the performance of the proposed approach.","PeriodicalId":296534,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 8th Multidisciplinary International Social Networks Conference","volume":"55 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-11-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123172087","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Most previous studies on this topic focused on the use of personal preferences to generate recommendations. Few studies considered (1) the common preferences of multiple users in a social network or (2) the geographic location of the establishments. In this study, we developed an interactive, location-based food recommendation application, which records the users’ favorites, previous search history, and personal information. The proposed system is convenient to use and highly effective in identifying suitable candidate restaurants.","PeriodicalId":296534,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 8th Multidisciplinary International Social Networks Conference","volume":"124 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-11-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115404942","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Cashless payment has achieved remarkable development with the wide usage of smartphones and the prevalence of consequent smartphone-based system. Before the bar code, either two- and single-dimensional, was introduced in the cashless system, the major technology that was used is a smart card or integrated circuit card-based system. We investigated the behavior of technology adoptions to cashless payment, which we called “Smart Payment System” in 2018[5]. Since 2018, we conducted surveys and found that the effect of COVID-19 resulted in the increase adoption to the cashless payment system among students and the increase usage of credit cards. The survey showed that the use of cashless payment system increased after 2020 in comparison to 2018 and 2019. Since the COVID-19 pandemic in spring of 2020, the usage of online shopping increased, and the usage of real stores decreased. Although we did not use big data, such as the log data of mobile phone usages, the results indicated that our observation of the use of cashless payment system among young users is consistent with the common sense.","PeriodicalId":296534,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 8th Multidisciplinary International Social Networks Conference","volume":"186 5 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-11-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124301968","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

For example, ’吉田悠人’ and ’欧阳沛南’ are two persons’ names. ’吉田悠人’ is a Kanji name, ’欧阳沛南’ is a Hanzi name. It is a challenge for a computer to identify the name origins between ’Hanzi’ and ’Kanji’ of a person’s name. In addition, we found that there are limited existing methods to identify more than one hidden property of people’s names at one time. In this paper, we aim to build a method that can identify the hidden properties of Hanzi names and Kanji names. Our novel method can point out the origin, the surname and the given name of a person’s name. The evaluation result shows that our method is better than an existing system ’TextBlob’ on predicting the origins of people’s names. The accuracy of our proposed method is 86.87%.","PeriodicalId":296534,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 8th Multidisciplinary International Social Networks Conference","volume":"92 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-11-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123481698","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this study, we focused on what happens in the intervals between the cycle of the work processes in the manufacturing industry, which has not been paid much attention to, and visualized the state of visual search in cyclic processes using eye tracking. As a result, it was found that an anticipation is performed as a preparation for making a decision for action in the next process, and thus contributes to the speed from perception to response. Based on this result, we will discuss the modeling of visual search in human factors.","PeriodicalId":296534,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 8th Multidisciplinary International Social Networks Conference","volume":"17 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-11-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127160205","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
