The influence of the development of digital music technology has led to various inventions in the form of virtual instruments. As part of the preservation and development of local culture-based music, it is necessary to create virtual musical instruments, including Sundanese drums. The problem that occurs today is, that virtual instrument media for Sundanese drums that facilitate learning Sundanese drums is still very rare. Method: The method is practice-led research or practice-based study by playing real drumming instruments recorded using sampling media in the form of virtual instruments in the KONTAKT Library. Result and Discussion: The design process is carried out in three stages, namely. pre-production, production, and post-production. The results showed that the pre-production analysis of tepak kendang sunda highlighted four drum sounds, namely keplak, kentrung, kemprang, and gedug. The production stage shows that the results of the tepak kendang analysis were recorded and produced a variety of different selected drum sounds. Conclusion: The sound samples were arranged in a keymap system on the KONTAKT keyboard, based on a velocity range system, so that each sound type expression can function as a virtual instrument in a DAW (digital audio workstation) application via midi. Pre-production alpha testing results with two phases state that the virtual instrument of the Sundanese drum can run well. In this study, four popular music genres in Indonesia were used as analysis samples, namely; Islamic music, jazz music, rock music, and dangdut music. Method: The method used is a qualitative type, which acts to describe the data narrative read from the google trends tool which also functions as a data analysis instrument. Result and Discussion: The results of this research found; that (1) The search trend for dangdut was very popular in the duration of 2018-2023 beating the three other music genres, even the search trend for dangdut music dominated in almost every province in Indonesia (2) The search trend for jazz music and rock music competed fiercely in the period 2018-2023, overtaking each other in that period. (3) In terms of graphical appearance, the trend of Islamic music does not seem to increase much compared to the search trends of the other three music genres throughout the last five years (2018-2023) (4) Central Java and Lampung provinces always appear in the top five provinces in the search trends of Islamic music, jazz music, rock music, and dangdut genres. Conclusion: The conclusion obtained in this study is that the search trend for certain music genres is strongly influenced by the culture or group of people who have an attachment to it. Against the background of the need for understanding the impact of CBL learning models on learning outcomes, especially in piano practice, this study focuses on the initial overview of previous learning models, CBL implementation processes, and analysis of learning outcomes. Method: Using qualitative methods with case studies, data were collected through observation, unstructured interviews, and documentation. Data analysis involves data reduction, data presentation, and inference, with data validity checked through assignment values, UTS, UAS, and source triangulation. Result and Discussion: The results showed that the CBL learning model had a positive effect on piano learning outcomes, measured by 21 students achieving final grades in the good category. The current character crisis has made an alarming impact on the life of the nation and state. The rise of technological developments today has a negative influence on the younger generation. The government began to emphasize strengthening character education in every educational institution, both formal education and non-formal education, one of which was by providing traditional art training. Method: This research uses qualitative methods with data collection methods taken through observation, interviews, literature studies, and documentation. Data analysis uses qualitative descriptive methods obtained from primary and secondary data. Result and Discussion: The results of this study show that children who participate in learning and engaging in the musical drama performance Randai Rantau Malin better understand the values of character and instill these values in their daily lives. They realize character values such as religious values, honesty values, tolerance values, discipline, creativity, and gotong-royong values. In the event of Rantau Malin, many values and messages can be learned, because the initial function of this art itself is not only as entertainment but there are many elements of values and messages for daily life that can be realized in the family and community. Involving 45 PGMI FITK UIN Sunan Kalijaga students consisting of 2 rombel, and grouped in 1 experimental class and 1 control class. Method: The method used is quantitative discretive t test to see the comparison of experimental and control classes. Result and Discussion: Based on the results of the analysis and research hypothesis, it shows that learning SBDP digital music material has been proven to increase student creativity. Observation data obtained that before the action was taken there were 45% of students who had not increased their creativity and there were 55% of children who began to develop their creativity abilities. After taking action in cycles I, II and III, it was obtained that the increase in creativity ability in the experimental class was 67.45% and 22.12% in the control class. This study aims to describe the strategy for developing Masamper art to strengthen the cultural identity of the Sangihe people in Laonggo village, Central Sulawesi. Method: The method used in this study is a qualitative method with a case study approach. Data were collected through observation, interviews and studying documents. Result and Discussion: The results of the study explain that Masamper as a traditional art of the Sangihe people in Laonggo village, Central Sulawesi, is a representation of the cultural identity of the Sangihe people, which reflects cultural similarities between fellow Sangihe people. In addition, changes in the form of implementation from entertainment activities to competition by involving other ethnic communities around Laonggo village, resulting in new forms of Masamper singing activities, is a form of adjustment as a strategy for the development & preservation of Masamper art. carried out by the Sangihe community so that masa per can be accepted. Its existence in the Central Sulawesi region can still be preserved so that the cultural identity of the Sangihe ethnic community in Central Sulawesi is getting stronger. Rhythm, which contains pulses, tempos and note values, is seen as the essential foundation where the orientation will later be related to music learning, both from a scientific and practical point of view. So the urgency of the media that is carried out considers aspects that support the effectiveness of learning. Method: In this writing, the research model used is Research and Development (R&D) with the 4D approach, which Thiagarajan pioneered. Product development has been in the 2D (Design) stage. Where the media offered is based on research results or observations at the primary level in music learning, then media development is based on selecting the type of media to be developed. Considering the internet access that can be reached from anywhere and anytime, the authors chose learning videos as a product so that later they can be disseminated to teachers who will carry out rhythm-related learning.
