The MNDT method beams microwaves through several types of coffee (dark, medium, and light roast) and obtains the s-parameter readings from them. A multi-layer perceptron neural network was then then fed to the MLP to determine the degree of different coffee roasts. The MLP could differentiate between the different roasts (with 6,400 data points per sample) with a modest number of hidden units.","PeriodicalId":293957,"journal":{"name":"2022 IEEE Symposium on Wireless Technology & Applications (ISWTA)","volume":"31 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-08-17","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"117075274","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

As a result, people in developed countries carry them all the time. This has opened an active line of research to estimate the presence of people based on capturing the packages emitted by such devices due to the multiple wireless protocols that they include. In this context, the present work proposed an open-source solution to fully capture, clean and process the packets emitted by digital devices with 802.11 protocol capabilities to estimate the number of people in a particular place. Based on a client-server model, the solution provides an interactive dashboard to visualize the presence estimation made by the framework. Finally, the solution has been tested in a real-world setting where it was able to uncover different visiting behaviours of the clients of a car garage.","PeriodicalId":293957,"journal":{"name":"2022 IEEE Symposium on Wireless Technology & Applications (ISWTA)","volume":"30 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-08-17","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116356688","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Therefore, attending especially to negative feedback provided by customer in form of complaints is important for an organization to identify areas to improve and retain customers. To quickly respond to customer complaints many business organizations have made hotlines available. Such caller hotlines are dedicated for the purpose of receiving complaints or allowing whistleblowers to reveal information. Due to the fear of being identified, there is a hesitancy in the public to use these hotlines. From the perspective of the organizations when a customer complaint is received it is required to evaluate the validity of the call made to hotlines. Furthermore, when complaints are made, it is required to handle them efficiently by transferring them to relevant departments and prioritize complaints This research proposes ‘Anonymo’, a system to handle customer complaints in a secure and an efficient manner. To do so, the system analyses the complaints obtained by a caller and provides the end users with the appropriate responses and output, that includes the following: i. Conversational AI agent to respond to callers, ii. Wanted and unwanted call classification, iii. Department-based Complaint classification, iv. Caller Emotion detection and caller complaint analysis while establishing the caller’s anonymity. An accuracy of 88.26% was obtained for identification of wanted complaints using SVM algorithm, an accuracy of 85% was obtained for department-based classification using SVM algorithm and 67% accuracy was obtained for emotion analysis by LSTM algorithm.","PeriodicalId":293957,"journal":{"name":"2022 IEEE Symposium on Wireless Technology & Applications (ISWTA)","volume":"20 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-08-17","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125618259","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Only authorized persons with a \"key\" may read or use data that has been encrypted. The encryption technologies are classified into two which are symmetric-key encryption and asymmetric encryption. Symmetric encryption is a typical approach in which the encryption and decryption keys are the same. Asymmetric encryption is a technique that creates two keys, one private and one public. These keys are not similar, and the public key may be shared with everyone, whilst the private key is only shared with those who are authorized to view the data. Users can encrypt the data using the public key, and the decryption key is the private key. The Rabin-p encryption algorithm is one of the public key encryptions. The Rabin-p's runtime and performance on a microprocessor architecture were investigated in this study. As a result, the Raspberry Pi is employed in this project with the Raspbian OS, a smaller version of the Linux operating system for embedded devices used. The Rabin-p and Rabin-Takagi cryptosystems are compared on the Raspberry Pi setup. It is possible to infer that Rabin-p outperforms the Rabin-Takagi cryptosystem on the microprocessor platform. Rabin-p improved the decryption performance and decryption failure by producing only one modular exponentiation and generating a unique message at the end of the decryption process. The runtimes to complete both types of Rabin variation have been documented. Rabin-p is faster than Rabin-Takagi for encrypting and decrypting data, according to the findings obtained.","PeriodicalId":293957,"journal":{"name":"2022 IEEE Symposium on Wireless Technology & Applications (ISWTA)","volume":"120-121 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-08-17","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131744109","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

An Orange Pi was used to test its working and ability to control and monitor a real-time system as no prior research is done on a dual water tank control system using Orangepi SBC. Due to COVID-19, millions of people's financial condition has worsened, which is why an initiative is taken to use the cheap board for making prototypes and moving towards PLCs after the desired outcomes. This research aims to provide a system at cheaper rates to handle large water tanks. This system is very efficient and valuable in dams, tanks, purifiers, and water containers. The proposed system also has dry run protection to avoid wastage of electricity in case of no water. The research is an advancement in automation in real-time virtual monitoring and different water level control systems. This research makes life more comfortable because real-time monitoring with a water control system reduces water wastage, leading to the complete modern solution of the problems.","PeriodicalId":293957,"journal":{"name":"2022 IEEE Symposium on Wireless Technology & Applications (ISWTA)","volume":"3 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-08-17","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"120962896","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Multi-criteria Decision Making (MCDM) has been widely implemented in various fields to address problems involving both qualitative and quantitative criteria systematically and reliably. In this paper, the MCDM approach known as the Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) method is adopted for the selection of communication technology solutions for electrical distribution substations in urban, suburban, and rural areas. Seven communication technologies, inclusive of both wired and wireless technologies, were evaluated in terms of their techno-economic performance. Three technical-to-economic ratio weightages were investigated, which were 70:30, 90:10, and 50:50. Finally, the technologies were ranked based on the MCDM TOPSIS method and the optimum communication solutions were obtained for each weight. The result shows that wired technologies outperform wireless technologies due to their superior technical score, despite their relatively low economic performance, especially if the technical criterion is given more weightage.","PeriodicalId":293957,"journal":{"name":"2022 IEEE Symposium on Wireless Technology & Applications (ISWTA)","volume":"32 2 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-08-17","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116378552","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

P-hailing riders are usually exposed to long hours in traffic and are more prone to get involved in traffic accidents. This matter has been one of the pressing problems in the transportation industry. This study focused on assessing the contributing factors of traffic accidents involving p-Hailing riders and determining the perception of p-Hailing riders towards the delivery time frame with regards to traffic accident involvement. A qualitative approach was used, and face-to-face/online interviews were conducted among p-hailing riders in Shah Alam, Selangor. Thematic and descriptive analyses were adopted, and it was found that several factors such as red light running, speeding and slippery roads were the factors of traffic accidents among p-Hailing riders. Delivery time frame did not have much impact on rider’s accident cases; instead, it was the behavior of the rider itself.","PeriodicalId":293957,"journal":{"name":"2022 IEEE Symposium on Wireless Technology & Applications (ISWTA)","volume":"19 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-08-17","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128644499","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
