We obtain three major findings. First, there is a negative relation between debt financing and investment behavior in both firms with low-growth opportunities and high-growth opportunities and that this negative effect is significantly stronger for firms with low-growth opportunities than those with high-growth opportunities. Second, there is a positive relation between debt financing and investment behavior in firms with mid growth opportunities and operating performance. Third, for the state-owned holding companies, there is a positive relation between the scale of investment and debt financing; while a negative relation between investment and debt financing exists in non-state-owned holding companies. The results provide support to agency theories of corporate leverage, and especially the theory that leverage has a disciplining role for firms with low-growth opportunities.","PeriodicalId":293875,"journal":{"name":"J. The MWSP algorithm based on the candidate generation-and-test approach is one of the best algorithms of the weighted sequential pattern mining, however, which will easily generate the situation of candidate combinatorial explosion during the mining process. Therefore, this paper presents the algorithm PMWSM, which adopts prime encoding to decide the parent-child relationship between different levels by one step of division operation, introduces the concept of K-minimum weighted support count to push weight constraint into the multi-level sequential pattern mining, utilizes the principle of prefix projection database to avoid the occurrence of candidate combinatorial explosion, and takes full advantage of the minimum weighted support count to optimize the algorithm. The experimental results show that the algorithm PMWSM is more effective than the algorithm MWSP on mining multi-level weighted sequential patterns from the sequence database.","PeriodicalId":293875,"journal":{"name":"J. Energy source of sensor nodes in WSN is usually limited; Data streams transmission is known to be the largest consumer of energy in WSN. Therefore, reduce the total data transmission and maximizing energy efficiency is the major challenge in WSN. In addition, sensor data points usually have attributes in the optimization and the geography domain. In most existing clustering algorithms, the similarity measurement mainly takes the non-geometric attributes into consideration. However, in many real applications, the geometric attributes are what users are concerned about. Motivated by the above, this paper presents an efficient Distributed Dual Cluster Algorithm Based on Grid (DDCG) for sensor streams to minimize sensor nodes energy consumption and clustering results in which a cluster has not only high proximity in geometrical domain, but also high similarity in optimization domain. To solve the dual attributes problem, the proposed DCG algorithm combines the information in both geographic and non-geographic attributes by constructing a super-rectangular grid cell and merging the grid cells into connected region (cluster). To minimize sensor nodes energy consumption, DCCG algorithm consists of two levels of clustering: local clustering and global clustering. First, clustering is conducted at group heads with a local clustering algorithm DCG, and the features of local clusters are extracted. Second, local features are sent to sink where global clustering is obtained based on those features. Experiments on Synthetic datasets show that the algorithm DDCG has higher efficiency, lower energy consumption.","PeriodicalId":293875,"journal":{"name":"J. Digit. However, traditional algorithms focus only on user ratings and do not consider the changes of user interest and the credibility of ratings data, which affected the quality of the system's recommendation seriously. To solve this problem, this paper presents an improved algorithm. Firstly, the user’s rating is given a weight by a gradual time decrease and credit assessment in the course of user similarity measurement, and then several users highly similar with active user are selected as his neighbor. Finally, the active user’s preference for an item can be represented by the average scores of his neighbor. Experimental results show that the algorithm can make the neighbor recognition more accurately and enhance the quality of recommendation system effectively. Based on analyzing the features of metadata management in the mas s storage system, this paper designs the structure of metadata management module, proposes the hash postfix table(HPT) based metadata management algorithm, uses HPT to adjust the distribution of access request dynamically, presents the process of metadata querying and HPT quick adjustment. It analyzes the algorithm from the dynamic equilibrium capability and the time and space overhead. At last, it realizes the prototype, using real data sets to evaluating. For this reason, this paper firstly theoretically described the mechanism of financial structure’s effect on high-tech industries, and then used principal component analysis with 1990 to 2007 economic data which constructed two financial structure factors, and places them in the same regression model with the rate of high-tech industries. It found that the relationships of both two factors and the rate of high-tech industries are positive, also for the one-way Granger-causality, but the total factor for one-way causality has larger impact relative to the structure factor. So this paper suggested that it’s necessary to focus on the total accumulation of financial assets and make full use of resources allocation and the positive role of high-tech industries in order to develop China’s high-tech industries.","PeriodicalId":293875,"journal":{"name":"J. The sources of China’s agriculture and tertiary industry during 1997-2007 was domestic consumption demand while the secondary industry dependent on investment and export demand.(3) The engines of China’s economics had changed during the decade. To ensure the security of the watermark,how to choose the embedding position and intensity is a difficult problem. Chaotic system has characteristics of sensitivity to initial value and unpredictability. High-dimensional chaotic systems have advantage of higher secrecy, so this paper chooses Lorenz chaotic attractor to encrypt binary watermark image. Through the statistic analysis of block energy of the host image, which is applied DWT repeatedly up to the third level, so watermark adaptively embedded into the greatest coefficients which belong to the selected blocks by using the properties of human visual system. Additionally, to realize the blind digital watermarking extraction, chaotic sequence is also applied in selected wavelet coefficients to change the original value of the inherent relationship between wavelet coefficients. Theoretical analysis and experiment results show that the proposed algorithm has high robustness and better performance of perceptual transparency.","PeriodicalId":293875,"journal":{"name":"J. Digit. So, we propose a new knowledge recommend system based on user model. According to the corresponding relationship between user model and the knowledge attributes, the satisfaction degree of user requirements for the candidate knowledge can be calculated by the model. To describe our model, the connotation and design method of the user model are introduced, and the architecture of knowledge recommend system based on the user model is presented. Furthermore, the method of knowledge representation and design based on attributes is proposed and the feasibility of the knowledge recommends system prototype is verified too. By using traditional data mining techniques to obtain the user identity and structure of knowledge, the proposed method can be applied to build the knowledge user database to improve the knowledge service quality.
