Inspired by the folklore of North Sumatra \"Samaehowu Foriwu\", which means nobility. Ni'o afi afi was developed into a manipulating fabric circle and triangle plus sequin embroidery to add a luxurious and beautiful impression. The method used is Double Diamond, which consists of 4 stages, namely discover, define, develop and deliver. To get a response to the results of the application of the ni'o afi-afi decoration, a questionnaire was used to see the suitability of the design of the source of inspiration, the accuracy of the process according to the source of inspiration to the suitability of the result of the design and the source of inspiration. The results obtained from the aspect of design, process and finished products received a very good response. In the design aspect, both the color and the silhouette match the source of ni'o afi afi's inspiration. In the aspect of the process of realizing manipulating fabric circles and triangles with the addition of sequin embroidery, a very good response was obtained. Metode yang digunakan adalah Double Diamond  Design Process, yang terdiri dari  4 tahapan yaitu discover, define, develope, deliver. Busana Pengantin dengan penerapan teknik anyaman pada bagian cape. Busana ini terinspirasi dari legenda meriam karbit yang berasal dari Pontianak , Kalimantan Barat. Konsep dari busana pengantin ini terdiri dari two pice yaitu gaun serta cape dengan anyaman untuk pengantin wanita. Sedangkan untuk pengantin pria yaitu setelan jas yang dilengkapi dengan cummerbund dengan anyaman, sebagai pengganti ikat pinggang. Pemilihan desain yang terinspirasi dari badan meriam karbit yang kokoh dan kaku sehingga busana ini yang diwujudkan dengan gaun  siluet I, yang menggunakan bahan ducces. Dilengkapi dengan cape yang menggunakan bahan organza. Untuk pemilihan warna yang diterapkan yaitu abu-abu dan putih. Kombinasi warna yang memberi kesan monokromatik. Hasil jadi busana pengantin ini dibuat dengan konsep bersifat costumize yaitu berdasarkan ukuran tubuh yang dijadikan model. \u0000The purpose of this paper is to find out the process and results of the application of gill pattern motifs with woven techniques on bridal clothing. The method used is the Double Diamond Design Process, which consists of 4 stages, namely discover, define, develop, deliver. Bridal dress with the application of the gill pattern technique on the cape. This dress is inspired from the legend of the carbide cannon from Pontianak, West Kalimantan. The concept of this wedding dress consists of two pieces, namely a dress and a cape with woven for the bride. As for the groom, the suit is equipped with a cummerbund with woven, as a substitute for a belt. The choice of design was inspired by the body of a carbide cannon, which is sturdy and rigid, so that this outfit was embodied in a dress with a silhouette I, which uses ducces. Equipped with a cape that uses organza material. For the selection of colors applied, namely gray and white. Color combinations that give a monochromatic impression. Salah satunya adalah pantai dan fauna penyu dari Nusa Tenggara Timur. Penciptaan karya ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui proses pengembangan desain busana gaun pesta dan Mengetahui hasil pengembangan desain busana gaun pesta dengan inspirasi Oe Matan Maladong. Metode yang digunakan dalam membuat pengembangan desain busana pesta ini adalah metode Double Diamond. Metode ini terdapat 4 fase yang berbeda yaitu: discover, define, develop, dan deliver. Proses pengembangan desain busana pesta dengan tema Oe Matan Maladong mengasilkan 10 pengembangan desain yang kemudian divalidasi ahli menjadi 5 desain. Unsur desain yang diterapkan adalah unsur desain garis, arah, bentuk, ukuran, warna, value, dan tekstur. Sedangkan prinsip desain menerapkan prinsip keseimbangan, irama, harmoni, aksen, dan kesatuan. Hasil jadi perwujudan busana dari salah satu desain yang sudah divalidasi berdasarkan kriteria yang paling sesuai dengan tema, penerapan unsur desain arah, warna, dan prinsip-prinsip harmoni, keseimbangan, proporsi dan unity dalam peletakan stilasi penyu serta penempatan dan bentuk dari manipulating flounce. \u0000Indonesia's natural wealth can be a source of inspiration in making party dress designs. One of them is the beach and turtle from East Nusa Tenggara. The creation of this work aims to 1) Knowing the process of developing a party dress fashion design and 2) Knowing the results of developing a party dress fashion design with the inspiration of Oe Matan Maladong. The method used in developing this party dress design is the Double Diamond method. This method has 4 different phases, namely: discover, define, develop, and deliver. The process of developing a party dress design with the theme of Oe Matan Maladong resulted in 10 development designs which were then expertly validated into 5 designs. The design elements apply the design elements of line, direction, shape, size, color, value, and texture. While the design principles apply the principles of balance, rhythm, harmony, center of interest, and unity. Metode yang digunakan adalah Double Diamond Model, yang terdiri dari 4 tahapan yaitu discover, define, develop, deliver. Proses pembuatan bordir motif bukang marege menggunakan mesin bordir  dengan desain yang telah di stilasi dari motif bukang marege yang asli. Proses pembuatan epaulettes ada dua tahap, tahap pertama membuat padding bahu yang berfungsi sebagai kaitan manik-manik, dan proses kedua yaitu menyusun manik-manik yang akan dikaitkan pada padding. Bagian padding eppauletes juga ditambahkan payet agar menambah keindahan. Terdapat 2 bagian pada gaun pengantin, yaitu bagian gaunnya itu sendiri dan sepasang kain yang dipasangkan pada kedua sisi bahu hingga menjuntai kebawah sepanjang panjang gaun. Hasil jadi gaun pengantin sesuai pada rancangan yang telah dibuat, penerapan bordir pada bagian dada dan sepasang kain yang dipasangkan di bagian bahu gaun, disusun secara sistematis begitu juga dengan penerapan epaulettes. \u0000The purpose of this study is to describe the process of applying the embroidery motifs of bukang marege and epaulettes on wedding dresses, and to describe the results of the application of embroidery motifs of bukang marege and epaulettes on wedding dresses. The method used is the Double Diamond Model, which consists of 4 stages, namely discover, define, develop, deliver. The process of making bukang marege embroidery uses an embroidery machine with designs that have been stylized from the original bukang marege motif. The process of making epaulettes consists of two stages, the first stage is to make the shoulder padding which functions as a bead hook, and the second process is to arrange the beads that will be attached to the padding. The eppauletes padding section is also added with sequins to add to the beauty. There are 2 parts to the wedding dress, namely the dress itself and a pair of fabrics that are attached to both sides of the shoulders so that they fall down the length of the dress. Sebagai awal pembahasan penulis memilih sumber ide Paria, yang merupakan tokoh Putri Samba Paria dari cerita rakyat daerah Mandar, Sulawesi Barat. Putri Samba Paria tinggal disebuah gubuk didalam hutan, disekitar gubuk tersebut dikelilingi tumbuhan Paria. Tahap berikutnya menentukan desain dan kriteria desain sesuai sumber ide, dan akan dibahas pada tahap Define dengan teori FEA (function, aesthetic, expressive). Dengan memilih hiasan bordir, terinspirasi dari tanaman paria yang distilasi kedalam bentuk baru. Busana pesta ini memiliki fungsi sebagai busana yang dikenakan pada acara pesta siang. Siluet yang diterapkan pada busana pesta yakni siluet I dengan model rok mermaid, untuk menunjukkan kesan feminim. Hasil dapat terlihat dari desain busana pesta yang mewah, kain yang berkualitas yaitu kain satin halus dan ringan, kemewahan terpancar dari kain yang berkilau. Hiasan dan bahan dari hiasan juga memiliki bentuk dan jenis yang berkualitas. Dilihat dari proses busana yang diwujudkan memiliki proses eksklusif. Dari hasil tersebut diperlukannya tingkat eksplorasi yang kreatif dan inovatif lagi dalam mewujudkan ragam hias untuk melestarikan budaya yang ada di Indonesia. \u0000This study aims to describe the results of applying embroidered decorations from pariah plant distillation to women's party fashion. Using the Double Model method consisting of Discover, Define, Develop and Deliver. At the beginning of the discussion, the author chose the source of paria ideas, which is the figure of Putri Samba Paria from the folklore of Mandar, West Sulawesi. Princess Samba Paria lives in a hut in the forest, around a place surrounded by Paria plants. The next stage determines the design and design criteria according to the source of the idea and will be discussed in the Define phase with FEA theory (function, aesthetic, expressive). By choosing embroidered decoration inspired by pariah plants that are distilled into a new form. This party fashion functions as a fashion worn at the day party event. The silhouette applied to the party fashion is a silhouette with a mermaid skirt model to show the impression of femininity. The results can be seen in the luxurious party fashion design, quality fabrics, delicate and light satin fabrics, and luxury radiated from sparkling fabrics. Decorations and materials from decorations also have a quality shape and type. Judging from the fashion process, that is realized has a complete circle. Proses desain telah dieksplorasi di banyak disiplin ilmu, termasuk desain interior, teknik, perencanaan lingkungan arsitektur, tekstil dan pakaian. Tujuan penulisan artikel ini adalah menyajikan macam-macam metode proses desain dalam bidang  desain mode yang telah dimuat di jurnal internasional ranking Q1 dan Q2 berdasarkan Scimago Journal & Country Rank. Dari hasil review diperoleh tiga macam metode proses desain, metode pertama yaitu kerangka konseptual desain pakaian, tiga tahap proses desain, dan double diamond model (model berlian ganda). Kerangka konseptual desain pakaian (apparel design framework), terdiri dari 6 thap: identifikasi masalah, ide-ide awal, perbaikan desain, pengembanga prototipe, evaluasi, dan implementasi. Pada metode pertama ini juga membahas kriteria dalam membuat pakain berdasarkan kebutuhan pengguna yang disingkat sebagai FEA (Fuctional, Expressive, Aesthetic).  Metode kedua adalah tiga tahap proses desain, yang meliputi: definisi masalah dan penelitian, eksplorasi kreatif dan implementasi. Metode ketiga adalah double diamond model yang meliputi empat tahap yaitu: menemukan, mendefinisikan, mengembangkan, dan menyampaikan. Artikel ini diharapkan dapat digunakan sebagai bahan penulisan metode pada artikel ilmiah dari proyek/ tugas akhir mahasiswa maupun program-program penelitian lain. \u0000The design process is often used in the method of creating product designs in general and in the field of fashion design, which has been published by international journals since the 1900s until now. The design process has been explored in many disciplines, including interior design, engineering, architectural environmental planning, textiles and clothing. The purpose of this study is to present various design process methods in the field of fashion design that have been published in international journals ranked Q1 and Q2 based on Scimago Journal & Country Rank. From the review results obtained three kinds of design process methods. The first method is apparel design framework, a three-stage design process, and a double diamond model. The apparel design framework consists of 6 stages: problem identification, initial ideas, design refinement, prototype development, evaluation, and implementation. In this first method, it also discusses the design criteria based on user needs which are abbreviated as FEA (Fuctional, Expressive, Aesthetic). The second method is a three-stage design process, which includes: problem definition and research, creative exploration and implementation. The third method is the double diamond model which includes four stages: discover, define, develop, and deliver. Saat ini, korset tidak hanya dipakai sebagai pakaian dalam saja namun dapat dimodifikasi dengan desain tertentu dan dipadupadankan dengan busana pesta. Butik Alben Ayub Andal merupakan salah satu industri fashion yang memiliki koleksi busana pesta. Salah satu model busana pesta yang dikoleksinya yaitu corset dress. Corset dress ini menggunakan korset instan dan teknik tertentu dalam proses modifikasinya. Inovasi ini menjadikan pembuatan corset dress menjadi sedikit lebih singkat dalam pengerjaanya. Tujuan penulisan ini dimaksudkan untuk mengetahui dan mempelajari teknik pembuatan corset dress, mengetahui proses pembuatan corset dress dengan baik dan benar serta mengetahui hasil jadi pembuatan corset dress menggunakan teknik yang diterapkan di Butik Alben Ayub Andal. Pembahasan  karya dimulai dari pembuatan desain, perencanaan warna dan bahan, memodifikasi corset, proses pembuatan dress serta pengaplikasian brocade pada busana. Hasil jadi corset dress yaitu dipadupadankan menggunakan aplikasi brocade supaya penampilan korset lebih fashionable. Aplikasi brocade dipasangkan dengan menata sesuai desain, tampat pada bagian muka dan belakang penataan aplikasi terlihat 3 dimensi. \u0000The purpose of this study are (1) to know the process of making a corset dress, and (2) to know the result of a corset dress in Alben Ayub Andal. This corset dress uses instant corsets and draping techniques in the manufacturing process. The process of making this corset dress goes through several stages, starting with the making of the design, determining the material, changing or modifying the instant corset, draping the whole outfit, sewing the dress, applying brocade and lace and finishing. The corset used is a standard size M with a zipper on the front. The resulting corset dress is in accordance with the design plan, which has an L silhouette, and gives a feminine impression with the use of brocade materials and designs that follow the body shape. The resulting corset dress is customized, which is based on one body size that is used as a model. The use of instant corsets and the application of draping techniques is one of the innovations at the Alben Ayub Andal boutique, which combines the technology of making evening dresses and the art of designing directly on a dressform and applying decoration. Bahan dalam pembuatan gaun malam terus berkembang seiring dengan berkembangnya dunia fashion. Salah satu inovasi yang menarik  adalah pembuatan gaun malam futuristik. Dalam pembuatan gaun malam futuristik, bahan yang di terapkan adalah lighting. Penerapan lighting mampu mengoptimalisasikan keindahan sebuah gaun malam, lighting berfungsi sebagai dekorasi sebuah gaun sehingga dapat memberikan kesan tersendiri. Selain itu, konsep penggunaan lighting memberikan sentuhan futuristik pada gaun malam baik dari segi penggunaan bahan maupun penampilan sebuah gaun malam. Salah satu pemilihan lighting yang cocok adalah jenis LED strip yang dapat di koreografikan sesuai dengan sumber ide. Sumber ide untuk gaun malam ini adalah database network sebagai salah satu kecanggihan teknologi. Dari sumber ide database network ini memunculkan sebuah ide gaun malam berbahan organdi yang memiliki karakteristik transparant dengan penerapan lighting pada setiap garis hiasnya. Tujuan penulisan karya ilmiah yaitu untuk mengetahui bahan dan proses sebuah gaun malam futuristik, serta mengetahui hasil jadi sebuah gaun malam futuristik. Metode yang di terapkan dalam pembuatan gaun malam futuristik adalah metode penciptaan demgan kolaborasi antara tata  busana dan elektro. Hasil perwujudan gaun malam futuristik dengan penerapan lighting menjadi salah satu inovasi terbaru. Koreografi dari lighting mampu menjadi pusat perhatian sehingga sangat efektif untuk menjadi hiasan sebuah gaun malam yang futuristik. \u0000The research objectives were to determine the materials and the process of making a futuristic evening gown, and to determine the results of a futuristic evening gown. The manufacture of futuristic evening gowns consists of several stages: selecting fabri (organdy), LED strips, cables, tin, powerbank. The process of making a futuristic evening dress is done with a collaborative method of fashion and electrical engineering. The manufacture of futuristic evening gowns includes determining the source of ideas, materials, designs, the process of applying LEDs to the dress, and embodiments. The result of being a futuristic evening dress with the application of lighting is one of the latest innovations. The choice of organdy material which has a transparant characteristic manifested in the L silhouette is perfect for evening dresses that apply LEDs. All cables to connect the LED strip segments must match the installation and be attached with glue, this is so that the cable does not break when the dress is worn. Salah satu kegiatan pada mata kuliah ini adalah mencipta sebuah karya busana sesuai trend, karya yang bertema Fluffy dengan sumber ide Cotton candy menjadikan sumber ide pembuatan karya busana pesta. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah : 1) Mengetahui proses penerapan penerapan Crinoline sebagai interfacing pada bagian rok dalam pembuatan busana pesta dengan tema  Fluffy. 2) Untuk mengetahui hasil jadi penerapan penerapan Crinoline sebagai interfacing pada bagian rok dalam pembuatan busana pestabertema kan Fluffy. Metode penelitian ini menciptakan karya yang terdiri dari empat tahap, yaitu tahap pra-prancangan, tahap prancangan, tahap perwujudan dan tahap penyajain. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah : 1) Proses penerapan Crinoline sebagai Baahan Pelapis Dalam (Interfacing) pada rok Busana Pesta bertema Fluffy, dimulai dari pembuatan pola bahan utama tulle lalu bahan penujang Crinoline sebagai interfacing, penerapan Crinoline pada tulle yang dikerut lalu dijahitkan paad crinoline  mengunakn mesin jahit memberiakn bentuk bervolume yang sesuai dengan sumber ide Cotton candy dengan tema Fluffy. 2) Hasil jadi peneraapn Crinoline sebagai bahan pelapis dalam (Interfacing) pada rok busana pesta bertema Fluffy sesuai dengan sumber ide Cotton candy diterapkan bentuk siluet A pada busana pesta yang menjadikan busana pesta ini ciri khas bervolume dengan tema Fluffy. \u0000The objectives of this study were: 1) to determine the process of applying crinoline as interfacing to the skirt in making party dresses with the theme of Fluffy, 2) to determine the final results of the application of crinoline as interfacing to the skirt in making party clothes with the theme of Fluffy. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah: 1) mendeskripsikan proses penerapan hiasan bias piping pada busana pesta malam bertema lawang sewu. 2) mendeskripsikan hasil busana pesta malam bertema lawang sewu dengan penerapan hiasan bias piping. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan penciptaan karya, yang terdiri atas empat tahap, yaitu pra-perancangan, perancangan, perwujudan, dan penyajian.  Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa: 1) proses penerapan hiasan bias piping pada busana pesta malam bertema lawang sewu meliputi pada a) bagian bawah atau rok, terdapat hiasan bias piping berupa garis yang membentuk menyerupai lawang sewu. b) bagian atas atau bustier, terdapat hiasan bias piping berupa garis garis siku atau sudut dari bagian lawang sewu. 2) hasil busana pesta malam bertema lawang sewu dengan penerapan hiasan bias piping jika dijelaskan secara keseluruhan terlihat menonjol pada bagian bawah atau rok. Sedangkan pada bagian atas atau bustier digunakan sebagai pelengkap dengan pengaplikasian hiasan bias piping berupa garis garis siku atau sudut dari bagian lawang sewu. \u0000Lawang sewu is a historic old building that holds a side of beauty, thus inspiring it to be a source of ideas for evening party fashion designs.
