Many technical and scientific problems are solved successfully. One of the such problem is percolation (impregnation) — the theory what describes the appearance of infinite connected structures consisting of elements. This theory is used in field of capillary-porous material, such as leather or wood, in order to study their impregnation process and mass transfer. The purpose of this work is to study the possibility of determination speed and depth of chemical materials impregnation in capillary-porous materials using digital image processing techniques. The main objects of our research were the leather of cattle and linden wood samples. As leather tanning composition dry chrome tanning reagent was used. On it's basis aqueous solution at 90°C temperature was prepared. Aqueous solutions of dyes was used for wood samples processing. For the research the program has been developed by authors. This program determines color components on pictures taken during the leather tanning process in certain time interval. Digital image processing data determine quantitative characteristics of percolation process on porous materials. The mass transfer rate of leather tanning and wood impregnation based on the program data has been obtained. The method allows to improve the accuracy of determining the amount of reagent seeping into the porous materials, reduce laboriousness and material spending on research.","PeriodicalId":293543,"journal":{"name":"2016 Dynamics of Systems, Mechanisms and Machines (Dynamics)","volume":"112 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125628764","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In order to satisfy requirements for the motion platform equipped with a laser system our study is focused on the vector control of the resistance motor angular velocity from the sensor being incremental encoder. Using computational modelling and simulation, we propose a model of k degree-of-freedom motion platform to expand the field of vision of the laser systems, which adjust itself according to the dependant influence from other variables. With the aid of computer modeling, it is verified that simulation agrees with theory and experimental data. Further, we represent the several algorithms based on: a positional limitation, a reliable acceleration and restraint, and a frequency break. Our instrumentation allows implementing the switch in software as part of the algorithm.","PeriodicalId":293543,"journal":{"name":"2016 Dynamics of Systems, Mechanisms and Machines (Dynamics)","volume":"120 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127292320","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In wind power engineering, under the instability of wind energy and the possible presence of more than three control loops influencing on wind turbine performance, there is a problem of prioritizing operation of controllers. The method of paired comparisons proposes as an alternative technique of prioritizing control loop operation for wind turbines to improve controllability and, as a consequence, energy efficiency. The result of the study is matrices of paired comparisons and normalized vectors. They can determine the best solution for wind turbine control in order to maximize the power output or to limit the power. The choice of the solution is based on the principle of the simplest inequality. Priority is given to that control method which corresponds to the largest component in the normalized principal eigenvector.","PeriodicalId":293543,"journal":{"name":"2016 Dynamics of Systems, Mechanisms and Machines (Dynamics)","volume":"13 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126461543","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Micellar synthesis method has certain advantages providing the obtaining of nanoscale monodisperse particles. In the reverse emulsion of bis (2-ethylhexyl) sodium sulfosuccinate (AOT)/n-hexane/water the cadmium sulfide nanoparticles were synthesized and their physicochemical properties were investigated. When the degree of hydration of inverse emulsions (W) is 5 or 10 the CdS nanoparticles band gap takes values 3.65 eV and 3.54 eV, the average particle size ranges from 2 to 5 nm respectively, while the larger particles are spherical, and the smaller cylindrical. By varying the hydration degree and controlling the interfacial tension of solutions of reverse micelles, implemented the ability to manage structural and electronic properties of the synthesized in them cadmium sulfide nanoparticles.
