Traditionally, research has concentrated on the stress-inducing factors within academic settings. This study, guided by positive psychology, explores the protective role of psychological capital in mitigating burnout among academics. The study investigated how psychological capital buffers overall burnout and its three core dimensions: emotional exhaustion, depersonalization, and reduced personal accomplishment. Additionally, the research explored whether generational differences moderated these relationships. Employing quantitative methodology, the study utilized structural equation modeling (SEM) to analyze the research hypotheses. The results demonstrated a negative association between psychological capital and burnout, specifically with emotional exhaustion and reduced personal accomplishment. Importantly, generational differences moderated these relationships. However, no significant correlation was found between psychological capital and depersonalization, nor was the moderating effect of generation significant for this specific dimension. The study offers valuable insights for the educational sector. By fostering psychological capital among academics, institutions can potentially reduce burnout levels and contribute to a more positive and productive academic environment.","PeriodicalId":292230,"journal":{"name":"The International Journal of Tourism and Hospitality Studies","volume":"8 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141711096","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

So, if the management's lack of attention to service quality causes tourists to become unsatisfied and abandon the destination, Therefore, this study tries to investigate the influence of tourism service quality on Egyptian tourist satisfaction. A quantitative approach was used by creating an online survey that included tourism service quality factors, and a total of 505 replies were analyzed. The findings of the investigation showed that tourism service quality factors influence Egyptian tourist satisfaction, and security service quality was ranked as the most highly influenced dimension. The study focuses on the essence of the anthropoid sarcophagus, its beginning, continuation, and usage throughout ancient Egyptian history. It also focuses on the depictions and representations on the lid, and its connection with the Egyptian dogma. The study also includes other anthropoid sarcophagi examples, which, in comparison to the lid under study, helps dating it to the Ptolemaic period, specifically between the 3rd and 2nd centuries BC. Attributing the lid to the Ptolemaic period revolves around the presence of Hellenistic elements, like the checkerboard decorative motive. Such elements and influences were a result of fusion between the Egyptian and Hellenistic elements, which are presented in their Hellenistic forms on the coffin lid.","PeriodicalId":292230,"journal":{"name":"The International Journal of Tourism and Hospitality Studies","volume":"58 ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-04-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140770786","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
