Also signaling is helpful to find the fault location, cause of failure and to know all the train movements in the yard. At present, Signaling used in railways suffers from drawbacks like use of number of relays, circuit design cost, space required, cable cost, requires lot of time to identify and locate fault. An IoT Based event logger is proposed in this paper for railway signaling to monitor and log the data related to train movements in the yard and also to communicate the failure information to the signal maintainer immediately. Code is written for Signal blank condition in C language and data logger is used for investigation purpose in case of train accident and derailment of train. The performance of IoT based event logger is compared with real time signaling in railway systems.","PeriodicalId":289933,"journal":{"name":"2022 International Conference on Smart and Sustainable Technologies in Energy and Power Sectors (SSTEPS)","volume":"2 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128591794","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

To enhance a photo we need to process the photo so that it can be satisfactory for definite applications. The processing of a photo can be such that it increases the visual properties of the photo and the sharpness of the photo or making the original image satisfactory for the computer to perform processing. Enhancing the contrast of the photo means to alter the input photo’s intensity of the pixels. There is a need to learn and evaluate multiple approaches to increase the contrast of the photo, because when you try to improve the photo the contrast loses its luminosity. So, in order to take care of the image brightness and to increase the image contrast, local and global approach combination of contrast enhancement technique can be applied. Normally, MRI images contrast is low. When we look at the MRI scan it is very hard to analyze and examine the photo as the image is of poor resolution and there is no proper comprehensive information. There are many ways to increase the contrast and resolution of MRI photos in image processing. All types of medical images can be boosted by using Histogram-based approach. We are using Histogram Equalization methods along with interpolation technique to improve the contrast and enhance MRI images of brain.","PeriodicalId":289933,"journal":{"name":"2022 International Conference on Smart and Sustainable Technologies in Energy and Power Sectors (SSTEPS)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128953077","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Lithium-ion batteries (LiBs) are the most extensively researched and utilized rechargeable battery technology in EVs because of its properties like high power density, high energy density, low maintenance, and extended lifespan. It is understood from several studies that internal resistance places a vital role in the Battery Management System (BMS) of EVs. As a result, many scientists and researchers are placing more emphasis on monitoring internal resistance as a function of temperature and State of charge (SoC) for the purpose of designing BMS that is effective and trustworthy. In this paper, the change in internal resistance with different temperature and SoC condition are studied in control environment. It is noted that the internal resistance gradually increases with the increasing temperature which leads to localized heating in the battery pack. It is also observed that the internal resistance gradually decreases with decreases in depth of discharge (DoD) or increase in SoC which is important to identify the boundary operating conditions of a battery. The above studies have been done by using an Electrochemical impedance Spectroscopy (EIS) in an environmentally controlled cell. The above study helps to understand the dynamics of internal resistance of batteries in EVs at different temperature and SoC and also helps to design an efficient and reliable BMS for EV industries.","PeriodicalId":289933,"journal":{"name":"2022 International Conference on Smart and Sustainable Technologies in Energy and Power Sectors (SSTEPS)","volume":"54 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123270056","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Hence with regards to these online surveys show a majority role in maintaining and building a strong E - commerce platform. Online reviews play the role of decision making for the consumers at the receiving end of the E - Commerce network. Experiences, suggestions, and opinions on the variety of products available in the market is given through online reviews. A small variation in the way the review is expressed can bring about a positive or negative impact on sales, brand value, reputation of the business etc. There are high chances where falsification of reviews can also take place with the intended motive to bring down the reputation of a targeted brand, organization, or e-commerce platform. Hence detection and classification of reviews based on genuinely is very much essential. This paper uses a semi- supervised machine learning methodology in which traditional ML algorithms like naive bayes and random forest classifiers are used to solve the above stated problem faced by the E- commerce industry. An existing Food review dataset by Amazon has been used to analyse, extract, and interpret diverse review behaviors.","PeriodicalId":289933,"journal":{"name":"2022 International Conference on Smart and Sustainable Technologies in Energy and Power Sectors (SSTEPS)","volume":"6 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114083867","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
