As an important branch of tree mining, tree cluster plays a fundamental analysis role in many areas. In this paper, a tree cluster algorithm was proposed based on least closed tree, which effectively solved problems in large amount of data in practical application. The basic method is bringing forward least closed tree as the candidate cluster feature, using dynamic threshold by similarity cluster to make tree cluster operation be more quick and accurate. Experimental results show that the method has higher speed and efficiency than that of other similar ones especially when large number of tree nodes.","PeriodicalId":289808,"journal":{"name":"2009 International Conference on Artificial Intelligence and Computational Intelligence","volume":"90 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2009-11-07","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132688749","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Considering tracking as a classification problem, we train an approximator to recognize hands from its background. This procedure is done by extracting feature vector of every pixel in the first frame and then building an approximator to construct a virtual optimized surface of pixels for similarity of the frames which belong to the hand of those frames related to the movie. Received a new video frame, approximator is employed to test the pixels and build a surface. In this method, the features we use is color RGB corresponding to the feature space. Conducting simulations, it is demonstrated that hand tracking based on this method result in acceptable and efficient performance. The experimental results agree with the theoretical results.","PeriodicalId":289808,"journal":{"name":"2009 International Conference on Artificial Intelligence and Computational Intelligence","volume":"270 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2009-11-07","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115209577","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In order to overcome the shortcoming of conventional fuzzy or PID controller, the fuzzy-PID composite control method is used to control it. The combining modes between fuzzy and PID were introduced in detail. Based on the model of hydroelectric generating unit, parameters and reasoning rules of every combining mode between fuzzy and PID were adjusted via expert knowledge and genetic algorithms. Each controlling strategy was simulated. The response figures, which reflected the controlling effect, were given in the paper. By applying bifurcation diagram and phase diagram are presented to analyze periodic oscillation state and chaos motions. Periodic and chaotic motions of the system can be distinguished by Lyapunov exponent method. The chaotic motion of the system is controlled using neural network controller. We obtain the steady periodic orbit of the system under effectively controlling. It is concluded the hyperbolic tangent function is the best candidate as the threshold function of NNC for controlling the Rossler reaction system. We acquire the rotating angle and scaling factor firstly by phase correlation between Fourier-Mellin transform images of the reference and observed images. After rotating and scaling the observed image, implement the phase correlation again to compute the spacial translation. Because of spectral periodicity, the correlation between Fourier-Mellin transform images will be weaken and maybe lead to wrong result when the rotating angle is close to 90°. So we add a coarse search before phase correlation to avoid this situation. And we use a smooth window to reduce the noise in phase correlation. Furthermore, a coordinate mapping chart is recommended to avoid the unnecessary computation cost during creating log-polar image. The experiment results show the proposed method can acquire accurate motion parameters between two adjacent frames.","PeriodicalId":289808,"journal":{"name":"2009 International Conference on Artificial Intelligence and Computational Intelligence","volume":"121 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2009-11-07","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115159907","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It is an effective tool to deal with limited samples. This paper proposes a model of the dissolved gas analysis (DGA) of transformer based on Multi-class SVM. Firstly, with the combination of SVM multi-class classification methods one-versus-rest (1-v-r) and one-versus-one (1-v-1), the normal state and fault state of transformers are diagnosed. Then the fault data is diagnosed in detail with 1-v-1 method. The grid search method based on cross-validation, which is effective in solving the problem of designing SVM parameters, is used to determine model parameters. The results of case study show that the model ensures a very high accuracy rate of classification and has upstanding generalization ability.","PeriodicalId":289808,"journal":{"name":"2009 International Conference on Artificial Intelligence and Computational Intelligence","volume":"17 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2009-11-07","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115267478","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The main focuses of this paper are (1) applying this to the active suspension system and (2) discussing the effectiveness of the Grey-Fuzzy controller by the following performance indexes which include Ride Comfort Index (Ratio-VA), Pitch Motion Index (Ratio-PA), and Roll Motion Index (Ratio-RA). These performance indices indicate the ride comfort, handling quality and suspension compactness of a car. The grey-fuzzy control reduces the oscillation of the vehicle. As a result, passengers will not only feel an increased comfort and quality of ride, but also have an increased sense of the safety of the vehicle. Satisfactory performances have been achieved by such a grey-fuzzy control scheme.","PeriodicalId":289808,"journal":{"name":"2009 International Conference on Artificial Intelligence and Computational Intelligence","volume":"137 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2009-11-07","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123394978","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
