This powerful concept for mind research benefits from the use of metacognition, and eases the development of a self configurable computational model. A six tiered SMCA (Society of Mind Cognitive Architecture) control model is designed that relies on a society of agents operating using metrics associated with the principles of artificial economics in animal cognition. Qualities such as level of decision making, its cost function and utility behavior (the microeconomic level), physiological and goal oriented behavior are investigated. The research builds on current work, and shows the use of affect norms as metacontrol heuristics enables the computational model to adapt and learn in order to optimize its behavior.","PeriodicalId":289669,"journal":{"name":"Int. The effects of the following control parameters are considered: the external voltage source frequency and amplitude, the ratio between the stiffness coefficients, and the one between the masses. As results in both cases of external excitations, subharmonic oscillations, hysteresis, coexistence of limit cycle and point attractor, permanent bounding are found. The optimal voltage and the ratio between the stiffness coefficients are obtained. Bursting oscillations usable for pulsatile pumping are observed for low frequencies under square wave voltage.","PeriodicalId":289669,"journal":{"name":"Int. J. Artif. A number of systems have come up doing the task successfully for different language pairs. However, to the best of the author's knowledge, no significant work has been done in clinical and medical related domain especially in Homoeopathy. This paper describes a rule based English-Hindi MT system for Homoeopathic sentences. It has been designed to translate a variety of sentences from Homoeopathic literature. To achieve the task, the author developed English and Hindi Homoeopathic corpuses presently having the size 21096 and 23145 sentences respectively. For translation, the input sentences in English have been categorised in four different type's i.e. simple, complex, interrogative and ambiguous sentences. The authors tested the translation accuracy using BLEU score. At present, the overall Bleu score of the system is 0.7808 and the accuracy percentage is 82.25%.","PeriodicalId":289669,"journal":{"name":"Int. J. Artif. Available Web links are considered as an important importance indicator. Distinct weightage factor is assigned to the Web pages as these are calculated based on the Web links. Different Web pages are evaluated more accurately due to the independent and uniqueness of weightage factor. Better Web page ranking is achieved as it depends on specific weightage factor. Impact of unwanted intruder is minimized by the introduction of this weightage factor.","PeriodicalId":289669,"journal":{"name":"Int. J. Artif. Scale-free proportion has revealed how a flock can appear to behave as if it has one mind and body. The notion of scale-free proportion implies that the correlated domain within a flock is not constant size, but is proportional to flock size. Scale-free proportion can be explained by previous models, such as BOIDS based on the fixed radius neighborhood where an agent interacts with others if the critical valued parameter and a huge neighborhood are given. However, it is hard to explain under the normal neighborhood condition. The authors propose a new computational model that, although also based on BOIDS, incorporates mutual anticipation, which is implemented by modeling the resonance between the potential transitions available to each agent, allowing overlap between them. Via mutual anticipation, this model implements interactions not only among individuals but also between individuals and the field. The authors show that this model reveals the dynamic and robust structure of a flock or swarm, as well as scale-free proportion over a wide range of the flock sizes, comparing previous models, and that its predictions correlate well with empirical field data.","PeriodicalId":289669,"journal":{"name":"Int. Human-centric systems can enhance the accessibility and usability of systems and devices, and they can improve the quality of life in many areas such as supporting human activities, communication and interactions in healthcare, and welfare. However, there is a need to shift from human-centric systems to community-centric systems and improve the quality of community in social networks and communities. This paper provides a survey of human-centric and community-centric systems. In the case of human-centric systems the acquisition of human data including sensing, monitoring and gathering data for life log are discussed. Constructing user models and applying the models for health care support are also proposed. In the case of community-centric systems, the community detection on the Web is presented. Various visualization systems for community detection on the Web are introduced. Emergency support systems as an important application of community-centric systems are discussed as well.","PeriodicalId":289669,"journal":{"name":"Int. J. Artif.
