The study focused on teachers’ hybrid (digital and traditional) identity as digital immigrants during their “immigration” process and examined the role of innovative school climate and technological training as moderators. Data was collected from 145 secondary school teachers in Israel. The findings indicated that both teachers’ digital and hybrid identity significantly predicted their objective and subjective integration process as digital immigrants, particularly when the school’s innovative climate and teachers’ digital training levels were low.","PeriodicalId":289241,"journal":{"name":"SCIREA Journal of Education","volume":"66 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124517283","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

How to integrate ideological and political education elements into practical teaching is the core of course education. As one of the core courses of surveying and mapping engineering specialty, engineering surveying is one of the main positions for surveying and mapping specialty to shape \"people\". Starting from the necessity of practical ideological and political teaching, this paper refines the ideological and political elements of practical teaching in combination with the two aspects of teachers and students. At the same time, combined with the characteristics of the curriculum, it expounds the research on the integration of ideological and political education elements in practical teaching, which has certain reference significance for realizing the unity of professional knowledge teaching and ideological education, and realizing the educational goal of building morality and cultivating people.","PeriodicalId":289241,"journal":{"name":"SCIREA Journal of Education","volume":"64 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-09","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130303201","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, dissociation between teachers and the courseware engineers during APA development has been a known limitation. Therefore, a student-centered approach by a three-party team model – including a student designer, a teacher , and an information technologist – was adopted for e-Learning courseware development to bridge the gap between teachers and courseware developers. An e-Learning courseware Metabolism Metro was subsequently developed with the use of design thinking for Urea Cycle for metabolic teaching. The subject chosen for courseware development was based on students’ comments about difficulties in learning metabolism. The Urea Cycle was illustrated as a railway metro line, and the teaching contents were presented as cartoony-styled animations. This project was a case study in which the student designer was also a learner in metabolism, which the student designer was highly motivated to self-learn metabolism to complete the tasks and therefore the student designer’s own subject knowledge","PeriodicalId":289241,"journal":{"name":"SCIREA Journal of Education","volume":"16 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-05","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121959180","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
