In this review article we focus on underwater optical wireless communications (UWOCs) using optical waves as transmission medium. UWOCs have a much higher communication frequency and therefore a much higher data rate compared to RF and acoustic counter-parts. Due to this high-speed data transfer advantage, UWOC has been very attractive over the past few years. Many applications have been proposed in UWOC systems for protection of the environment, underwater exploration, emergency alerts and military operations etc. However, underwater channels also suffer from extreme absorption and dispersion. In recent years, a variety of innovative methods of network architecture have been developed to meet these technological challenges, which are different from standard terrestrial, open space optical communications. UWB antennas are used for short-range communications with lower power consumption. The structure and improvement have been completed utilizing the commercial software ANSYS HFSS version 13. An antenna of 30×30×1.6mm3 dimensions is designed on FR4 dielectric medium with permittivity 4.4 and attained 11.47GHz bandwidth. In this paper, the technique of Re-configurability is applied to the antenna by inserting PIN diode. Then this will be provided to the circuits or components which wields low power. A 5 stage voltage multiplier network based on Schottky diode is designed and simulated. It yields a DC output potential in measurement. The main advantage is that it does not require DC boosters. In this paper pentagonal shaped microstrip antenna is designed. The design utilizes Gallium Arsenide having dielectric constant ($varepsilonmathrm{r}$) of 10 and loss tangent of 0.0004 as a substrate and gold patch. The microstrip line feeding technique is used to feed the antenna and uses 50-ohm impedance matching to transfer maximum power. Further, the substrate of antenna is replaced by photonic substrate by drilling air holes to enhance its performance. Hence the radiations emitted by the patch will be increased. In addition to this radius of the bored holes on the substrate will be varied and the antenna parameters are tabulated. From the tabulation best characteristics can be achieved. This proposed patch antenna resonates at 23.68GHz. Proposed antenna has some important characteristics such as return Loss, VSWR, Gain and directivity. The dielectric material used is FR4 epoxy having 4.4 as its permittivity. It has a quadrilateral slot in the ground to achieve better bandwidth. The VSWR obtained for the generated frequencies is 1.1057 and 1.1046. SLM technique is a selective level mapping in distortion much less method that is used to reduce the PAPR efficiency without growth the manner requirement and growing facts fee loss. By using an UFMC technique, a dynamic spectrum provides an less interference. This technique has better PAPR reduction performance. In existing system, there is a two technique used to reduce PAPR that is pre-coding technique and NLCT (Non-Linear Companding Technique) but in 5G it is not effective to reduce the distortion. So we move on to the UFMC(Universal Filtered Multi Carrier) using SLM technique. Simulation output shows a better variety than the proposed OFDM technique with the designed parameter like FFT size, filter lengthand bits. Slots are effective in reducing the subsequent high-order modes. The CMA provides physical insight into the radiation mechanism of a microstrip patch antenna and achieves an antenna structure with optimum wideband performance.
