In existing system, there is a two technique used to reduce PAPR that is pre-coding technique and NLCT (Non-Linear Companding Technique) but in 5G it is not effective to reduce the distortion. So we move on to the UFMC(Universal Filtered Multi Carrier) using SLM technique. Simulation output shows a better variety than the proposed OFDM technique with the designed parameter like FFT size, filter lengthand bits. Abstract
