Development of creative industries will contribute to the awareness and protection of intellectual property rights and copyrights in the creative industry, in order to meet the WTO’s requirements on intellectual property rights. Government support for creative industries will help create a healthy competitive environment for businesses in the industry. It is important for Vietnam’s businesses to select a proper orientation and gain a suitable position in the global creative economy. The creative service sectors of great strength in Vietnam, which are also in need of investment are: design, art, education, tourism, performing arts, fashion, handicraft, culture, foods, and others. Additionally, empirical investigations in the present study reveal that creative industry indicators have a positive and significant influence on the economy and financial sectors. This study’s findings are highly recommended to government officials, economists, and anyone else working to make strategic decisions to achieve better economic results.","PeriodicalId":283579,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Innovation, Creativity and Change","volume":"17 12 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-11-08","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116065674","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, the minimum wage of domestic sector Indonesian Migrant Workers working in Taiwan has not increased since 2015 at NT$ 17,000. In the meantime, the minimum wage for non-domestic workers increased annually until 2020 to NT$ 23,800. In addition to that, the amount of overtime wages of NT$ 567 is still small compared to the wages of local domestic workers. Novelty of this study is the composition of the model of adjustment of the minimum wage and overtime wage of Indonesian domestic workers in Taiwan based on academic studies. Wage adjustment using Prorate approach, namely domestic Indonesian Migrant Workers wages, is calculated using Taiwan's minimum wage increase growth approach starting from 2016 – 2020 and for overtime wages following the rules applicable in Taiwan Labor Standard Act Articles 24, 32, and 36. Over the past 4 years Taiwan's minimum wage has increased by 5% annually from 2017 to 2019, and 3% in 2020. The minimum wage of the domestic sector Indonesian Migrant Workers if it follows Taiwan's minimum wage growth becomes NT$ 20,222. Based on the calculation of the minimum wage, the overtime wage per day (≥ 8 hours) is NT$ 1,067.","PeriodicalId":283579,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Innovation, Creativity and Change","volume":"31 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124210658","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In the university context, for lecturers who are technologically illiterate, the use of e-learning could be a burden and difficult to learn quickly. It required a readiness for change to adapt and learn e-learning. An antecedent that is considered to shape readiness for change from an individual perspective is Psychological Capital (PsyCap). Therefore, this study, in addition to understanding the readiness for change based on PsyCap by Indonesian lecturers, also provides empirical evidence of the PsyCap dimensions of readiness for change. The data process was conducted using SmartPLS 2.0. The results indicate that self-efficacy, optimism and resilience have significant effects on readiness for change, while hope has no significant effect on readiness for change.","PeriodicalId":283579,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Innovation, Creativity and Change","volume":"12 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131598561","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The significance of this research lies in the fact that it is necessary to protect elder people against abuse, as they are a vulnerable and susceptible group. Hence, this research revolves centrally around the extent to which the legal protection Jordanian laws provide to elder persons against abuse compared to the international standards. The research followed the analytical and comparative method, by conducting a comprehensive review of the Jordanian legal texts, analysing them and comparing them to the international standard. This research concludes that the protection provided by the Jordanian legislations and international conventions against elder abuse is not sufficient. The research provides several recommendations including criminalising all types of elder abuse, imposing deterrent sanctions and explicit provision for mandatory reporting of abuse cases.","PeriodicalId":283579,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Innovation, Creativity and Change","volume":"106 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133526453","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In order to have a complete and comprehensive view of the literacy competence of Philology Pedagogy students, we have surveyed 366 students of 11 Philology Pedagogy Universities in Vietnam. The survey questions focused on a number of issues such as students' perceptions of informational texts and their role in learning and living, informational writing skills, and awareness of factors affecting informational writing skills, and teaching methods of informational writing skills. This study uses survey methods, analytical - synthesis methods, descriptive methods, etc. The survey results are the basis for us to design teaching methods of informational text writing effectively. At the same time, it is also the basis for us to propose changes in the curriculum for students of Philology Pedagogy, in which it is imperative to focus on testing, assessing writing competence in general, and informational text writing competence in particular.","PeriodicalId":283579,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Innovation, Creativity and Change","volume":"212 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134468948","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
