By virtue of their job profile, sales employees are required to respond to multiple demands from multiple stakeholders both at work and family front which eventually lead to negative outcomes such as stress. This in turn results in lesser satisfaction both in work and family domains. Although job satisfaction gets highlighted across researches (especially in western context), family satisfaction still remains a subject of negligence in sales related researches. The present study aims to validate the Job and Family satisfaction in Indian context by exploratory factor analysis (EFA) and confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) using analysis of moment structures (AMOS) software. The results of the data analysis conform the findings of previous literature. Further, this study explored the impact of demographic variables on job and family satisfaction of sales employees. The study contributed to the sales management literature by identifying the key demographic variables that can have an effect on sales employee's job and family satisfaction. Results indicated that sales employee satisfaction from job is associated with both work (tenure in an organization, hierarchy and annual salary) as well as family related domains (marital status). However, family satisfaction is primarily dependent on family related factors. Implications of these findings are discussed.","PeriodicalId":283517,"journal":{"name":"Asia Pacific Journal of Management Research and Innovation","volume":"47 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127936161","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

MFIs provide unbanked and poor appropriately designed financial products and services. MFIs have addressed the issues concerning supply-side barriers 1 to financial inclusion by enhancing its outreach across the countries/regions. However, outreach performance of MFIs is affected by factors concerning MFIs such as age, size, profitability, efficiency, productivity and portfolio quality, which affect outreach (breadth/depth) of MFIs. The present study has attempted to study the factors affecting outreach performance of MFIs in India. The study using unbalanced panel data for 39 Indian MFIs concludes that age, assets and productivity indicators have affirmative association with outreach performance of MFIs in India.","PeriodicalId":283517,"journal":{"name":"Asia Pacific Journal of Management Research and Innovation","volume":"108 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122983541","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

As a fairly new concept, there is lack of adequate research in this area of organisational psychology. The article mainly aims at discussing the motives for and the consequences of such behaviours with the help of existing literature available. The author argues that the organisations should express their intentions and actions in order to reduce such behavioural tendencies. The article is expected to help further research in this area by summarising the highlights from existing works available.","PeriodicalId":283517,"journal":{"name":"Asia Pacific Journal of Management Research and Innovation","volume":"243 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131939026","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In turn, decentralisation principle is considered as the main mechanism that works as the base for the good governance, in addition to the accountability, predictability, and transparency. This article is a part of a field study aimed to explore and investigate the reality of the sustainable development management in Yemen and India. The ‘Good Governance’ is an important element. The aim of this study is to investigate and explore the extent and the level of adopting the Good Governance principles, as a requirement for achieving sustainable development, in the managerial activities in both countries Yemen and India. The result of an analysis by the chi-square (χ2) test indicated that there is a weakness of applying the decentralisation principle in Yemen. The study ascertains the weakness of the accountability principle, the deficit of the predictability principle, and the weakness of the transparency principle among the managerial practices in Yemen and the lack of analysis in the governmental departments, suggesting the needs to enhance the related process. Although the findings showed that the situation in India is much better compared to Yemen, compared to the developed countries we can say that India also needs more enhancement in this regard in order to facilitate the achievement of the sustainable development for societies in both urban and rural areas.","PeriodicalId":283517,"journal":{"name":"Asia Pacific Journal of Management Research and Innovation","volume":"4 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126092193","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Research data are gathered from a sample of 120 Generation Y participants in Malaysia. Partial least squares structural equation modelling (PLS-SEM) is employed to examine the influences of image, output quality, perceived self-efficacy and result demonstrability on behavioural intention to use mobile health applications. The results demonstrate that output quality and result demonstrability are potential predictors of behavioural intention to use mobile health applications. However, there is no significant relationship between image, perceived self-efficacy and behavioural intention. This study contributes to the body of knowledge focused on a better understanding of the behavioural intention of younger generations to adopt and use mobile health applications. Current research provides developers of mobile health applications and healthcare professionals with useful insights into how the adoption rate of mobile health applications can be enhanced.","PeriodicalId":283517,"journal":{"name":"Asia Pacific Journal of Management Research and Innovation","volume":"33 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123846694","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The relationships among heterogeneity in healthcare services, coordinated care pathways, organisational orientation, integrated supply chain performance and modularity in health service delivery were explored. A structural model was developed based on a literature review. A 35-item questionnaire was circulated among service providers in the healthcare system all over India. A cross-sectional research design was used to assess the framework of research. The random sampling method was adopted to collect data. A total of 127 valid responses were received. Data analysis was performed using partial least square structural equation modelling (PLS-SEM).Results reveal that modular architecture can be achieved by building an environment which has coordinated and integrated efforts of service providers incorporated with enhanced organisational orientation. The study added insights to the theory of modular systems. The authors recognise that modularity helps in enhancing the patient-centric orientation. The findings provide potentially important information to health service managers and providers, enabling them to understand the requisites of modular architecture. This is the first study exploring the relationships between facilitators of modularity in healthcare services. The study complements literature on service modularity with reference to specialised care unit of maternity services.","PeriodicalId":283517,"journal":{"name":"Asia Pacific Journal of Management Research and Innovation","volume":"23 4","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"113953781","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

India is also trying to capture this particular market through various apps like Tinder, Woo, TrulyMadly and so on. The different literatures have been analysed from various sources to find out the factors influencing the use online dating apps. This particular study has identified few key elements, which is motivating the online dating app users in India. A total of 296 samples have been selected from college goers and young professionals with the help of structured questionnaire. Simple random sampling has been used to conduct the study, and from all the metro cities, the responses have been collected. The multiple regression analysis has been used to find out the impact of factors towards utilising dating apps. Playfulness is the most impactful factor when compared to others. The study has also found that trust does not have any impact towards utilising dating apps. The study also implies that consumers mainly enjoy the dating apps, and they have very less trustworthiness towards these apps. The study is unique in nature as very few studies till date have been conducted in India.","PeriodicalId":283517,"journal":{"name":"Asia Pacific Journal of Management Research and Innovation","volume":"32 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125969279","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The study is based on primary data, collected from a total of 345 solar pump users from different villages and rural areas of Punjab. Exploratory factor analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, and paired sample t-test have been used to examine the data. Furthermore, the SERVQUAL scale has been used to measure the service quality of solar product dealers. Paired sample t-test was used to measure the users’ expectation and perception gap between service quality dimensions. The results validated that five factors namely reliability, responsiveness, assurance, empathy, and tangibility influence service quality of solar product dealers and there is no significant difference between perceptions and expectations of solar product users except for the responsiveness dimension. As far as gap analysis is concerned, the dimension ‘responsiveness’ was responsible for the highest gap score. So, perceptions of solar product users are not fully being met with their expectations.","PeriodicalId":283517,"journal":{"name":"Asia Pacific Journal of Management Research and Innovation","volume":"31 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-03-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121667091","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
