To solve this problem, we use the multi-channel power amplifiers (MCPA) with extreme power levels under certain restrictions. Their practical implementation in radar is determined by an appropriate selection of efficient power supply and heat dissipation of the output transistors. From a variety of component units and products, as well as from constructive and technological solutions of their use, a developer has to implement an option optimally meeting a set of technical requirements. The issues of optimal solution are considered on an example of the L-band MCPA.","PeriodicalId":283310,"journal":{"name":"2015 International Conference on Antenna Theory and Techniques (ICATT)","volume":"260 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-04-21","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122371367","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The tensor Green's function is presented in the sourcewise form as the sum of the Green's function for free space and the regular part caused by reflections from the waveguide walls. The circular waveguide is a circular cylinder with a directrix in the form of a circle. The directrix in the form of a circle is approximated by a broken line in the form of an inscribed rectilinear polygon. This approximation allows one to use the method of specular reflections and get the tensor Green's function as an infinite sum of tensor divergent spherical waves with a delta-shaped front. The resulting representation of the Green's function can be used to solve the nonstationary intrinsic boundary-value problems of electrodynamics in the case of a circular waveguide with consideration for the reflections from the walls.","PeriodicalId":283310,"journal":{"name":"2015 International Conference on Antenna Theory and Techniques (ICATT)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-04-21","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129202309","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

We review some of these developments supported by advances in millimeter-wave components and achievements in signal processing technique. A recently developed at the Institute of Radio Astronomy ground based millimeter-wave synthetic aperture radar (SAR) is described in more details as an example of the activity in the field. The hardware and software solutions introduced into the radar are described along with the results of the first radar tests.","PeriodicalId":283310,"journal":{"name":"2015 International Conference on Antenna Theory and Techniques (ICATT)","volume":"11 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-04-21","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134112474","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
