Here, the diaphragms with several equal rectangular apertures are considered as dihedral symmetry structures. Ultimate performances of the rotators considered are obtained by using different optimization procedures. They demonstrate acceptable reflection in the predetermined frequency band The rotators that achieve the polarization plane rotation by an angle of choice are examined as well.","PeriodicalId":283310,"journal":{"name":"2015 International Conference on Antenna Theory and Techniques (ICATT)","volume":"4 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-04-21","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130223475","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It is shown that there are several factors affecting accuracy of such estimation. The main of them are spatial correlation of the speckle, complexity of an analyzed image and peculiarities of a method used. Spatial and spectral domain approaches are analyzed. It is shown that for both approaches spatial correlation of the speckle is to be estimated and taken into account. Results for real life TerraSAR-X data are presented as illustrations and for analyzing methods' accuracy.","PeriodicalId":283310,"journal":{"name":"2015 International Conference on Antenna Theory and Techniques (ICATT)","volume":"37 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-04-21","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131891482","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The main idea of this method is to use a combination of straight and incline diffraction gratings in a planar diffraction radiation antenna. A comparison of radiation characteristics of straight and inclined gratings was made. The radiation pattern of antenna with a combined grating confirms the correctness of the chosen approach. The obtained results are an essential complement to known properties of antennas and justify their applicability in different complexes of surface surveillance.","PeriodicalId":283310,"journal":{"name":"2015 International Conference on Antenna Theory and Techniques (ICATT)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-04-21","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130697864","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The section is formed by two short rectangular inserts arranged in antipodal position in a cross section of a rectangular waveguide. Influence of changing the posts' dimensions on the section frequency response is numerically investigated. A pole generation mechanism is examined within the concept of the spectral theory of open waveguide resonators. Attenuation pole generation is demonstrated over the single-mode range and in a wide multi-mode range. It is shown that “spectral” estimations of the pole frequency and bandwidth are more precise than ones obtained within the ordinary `modal' approach. High-accuracy estimation is demonstrated in a wide frequency range.","PeriodicalId":283310,"journal":{"name":"2015 International Conference on Antenna Theory and Techniques (ICATT)","volume":"6 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-04-21","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128458712","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The starting point for the analysis is the one-dimensional integral equation for the equivalent magnetic current in the slot, obtained by using the effective thickness of the slot. The asymptotic solution of the equation was found by the generalized method of induced magnetomotive forces (MMF). The expressions for electromagnetic field components of the spherical slot antenna in a material medium were derived.","PeriodicalId":283310,"journal":{"name":"2015 International Conference on Antenna Theory and Techniques (ICATT)","volume":"13 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-04-21","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129015969","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
