Not only did the Russia-Ukraine war cause a global energy crisis, but it also put more energy stress on the 5G Xhaul. It also shows that the sustainability of a country depends on the unbroken Xhaul. Meanwhile, the COVID-19 outbreak has triggered the largest human-virus war of this century. It needs the ubiquitous 5G Xhaul to monitor the spread of COVID-19. Once crises occur, turning them into opportunities often requires new ways of seeing, considering, and responding to the 5G Xhaul provisioning. Facing more unpredictable situations, Chunghwa Telecom (CHT), the largest service provider in Taiwan, embraces the challenges and proposes practical solutions. This study aims to discuss the new 5G Xhaul provisioning strategies to achieve sustainable development goals in this turbulent era.","PeriodicalId":282635,"journal":{"name":"2022 IEEE 4th Eurasia Conference on IOT, Communication and Engineering (ECICE)","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-10-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126423821","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, such signals captured in a mobile scenario would be susceptible to noise from the surrounding environment. Pupil size data also consist of missing data due to blinks. In addition to pupil size, researchers have suggested including multimodal information such as gaze and head movements for enhanced monitoring cognitive and neural activities. Multichannel signal processing is required for the simultaneous processing of these signals, while their mutual relations are exploited. This paper explores a novel multichannel signal processing technique, quaternion singular spectrum analysis (QSSA), for processing eye-movement data, which include pupil diameter and gaze positions. The performance based on real data is compared with traditional methods. This is a novel application of QSSA in processing eye movement data for mobile health.","PeriodicalId":282635,"journal":{"name":"2022 IEEE 4th Eurasia Conference on IOT, Communication and Engineering (ECICE)","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-10-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"113955184","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Its value of linear production is mass production and selling products which raises the problem of excessive usage of resources. The circular economy (CE) is a production with a non-linear model which involves leasing, recycling, repairing, and refurbishing used resources to reduce waste as minimum as possible. It has been widely acknowledged because of the opportunity for sustainable production and environmental protection. According to research, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) account for a high proportion of environmental pollution. Even though SMEs can be profitable and grow economically, they still struggle with incentives and financial restrictions. CE will help SMEs to improve resource efficiency, create a competitive advantage, and penetrate new markets. This research aims to assess and identify the challenges and main reasons why manufacturers use a circular economy in small-medium enterprises. A questionnaire has been constructed by collecting factors from different references that will be delivered to experts to assess. Using the Fuzzy Delphi method, the elements to be selected or rejected are sorted and determined based on the questionnaire results. Furthermore, the DANP stands for the Decision Making and Trial Evaluation method (DEMATEL), picking the relationship between factors, and Analytic Network Process (ANP), giving weights on which barrier and driver factors that important. For the first questionnaire, it concluded that 15 out of 20 barrier factors and 13 out of 22 driver factors passed the threshold value that had been set. For the remaining factors, the second questionnaire can be constructed for the DANP method to determine the ranking for both elements. As the driver factor, business growth has the highest weight value, which will be the main reason for implementing the CE. The consumer perception of reusing components is CE’s most significant challenge for barrier factors.","PeriodicalId":282635,"journal":{"name":"2022 IEEE 4th Eurasia Conference on IOT, Communication and Engineering (ECICE)","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-10-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125220290","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The dual hydraulic PTO floating system (floating system hereinafter), is an important device for converting wave energy. The system is mainly composed of an energy extraction system (PTO system), float, and vibrator. Under the action of wave energy, the floater and vibrator of the floating body system move relatively, which drives the PTO system to generate electricity. Many researchers have studied the motion characteristics ofa floating body system in a heave state and calculated the energy conversion characteristics accordingly. In practice, the floating body system heaves and pitches due to wave energy. We propose an improved motion simulation algorithm for the Double Floating Body System based on the original researchers. The improved motion simulation algorithm adds the floating body’s pitch motion state, considers the floating body’s motion under both heave and pitch, and further analyzes the power conversion characteristics based on the motion characteristics.","PeriodicalId":282635,"journal":{"name":"2022 IEEE 4th Eurasia Conference on IOT, Communication and Engineering (ECICE)","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-10-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131260922","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

SMOFDM inherits from OFDM the ability to combat frequency selective fading channels and from SM the potential of achieving higher data rates without causing inter-antenna interference (IAI). However, like OFDM, SM-OFDM suffers from high outof-band (OOB) power leakage and thus causes strong interference to the adjacent band users. In the literature, the technique of N-continuous precoding has been applied to SMOFDM for reducing the OOB power. However, because the N continuous precoding technique introduces IAI to SM-OFDM systems, it degrades the error performance severely. To reduce the OOB power without causing IAI, this paper adopts the cancellation symbol insertion technique in SM-OFDM systems. Because the proposed SM-OFDM scheme can suppress OOB power effectively without introducing IAI, it achieves much better error performance than the N-continuous precoded SMOFDM while providing comparable OOB power reduction capability.","PeriodicalId":282635,"journal":{"name":"2022 IEEE 4th Eurasia Conference on IOT, Communication and Engineering (ECICE)","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-10-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133735966","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, the positioning accuracy of the GPS used by the automatic lawn mower currently only reaches the meter level. Inertial positioning accumulates errors and causes control path errors, thus making the grass cannot be completely removed. Thus, this study is conducted to develop a lawn mower system with remote monitoring and automatic tracking control. The system uses a Dual Wheels electric transporter to set up the lawn mower pole while controlled by the rotation of the two wheels so that the lawn mower moves forward, turns, and moves backward. The positioning adopts simple RTK-GPS, including the base station and mobile station. It provides centimeter-level positioning accuracy. The movement trajectory planned with the computer is sent to the automatic lawn mower through the Lora wireless communication interface. The lawn mower follows the trajectory tracking control. The tracking control method of the lawn mower is based on Adaptive Neural Sliding Mode Control (ANSMC). The results show the maximum error of the tracking control of the automatic lawn mower is 10 cm. The computer monitors the condition of the lawn mower in real time and stores the tracking history to be checked. In the study, the prototype of the lawn mower is suitable for applications in open fields.","PeriodicalId":282635,"journal":{"name":"2022 IEEE 4th Eurasia Conference on IOT, Communication and Engineering (ECICE)","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-10-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114485055","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The modulation method is to divide the drain-side into two, four and six segments respectively and modulate in different arrangements. The TCAD simulations are performed at an input current of 1E-3 amps, and the lattice temperatures can be obtained. The high-voltage nLDMOS device will easily generate thermal runaway and other problems, causing the possibility of device damage. The appropriate width of STI on the drain-side can effectively isolate the high temperature generated by parasitic Schottky devices, and owing to the positive temperature coefficient effect of silicon, it will result in the final devcie excellent characteristics under an ESD event.","PeriodicalId":282635,"journal":{"name":"2022 IEEE 4th Eurasia Conference on IOT, Communication and Engineering (ECICE)","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-10-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116134893","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
