Based on the results of the Basic Health Research (Riskesdas) in 2018, stroke prevalence data showed an increase from 7% per 1000 population in 2013 to 10.9% per 1000 population in 2018. The purpose of this study was to analyze the factors of age, gender, history of hypertension. , history of diabetes mellitus, obesity, and smoking on the incidence of stroke in hospitalized patients at Dr. Ben Mboi. The type of research used is observational analytic with a case control research design. The number of samples was 40 cases and 40 controls. The case sample was taken using a simple random sampling technique which was taken based on data from stroke patients who were hospitalized during the period January to December 2021. The control sample was taken by matching sampling which took samples of gender and age. Data analysis was univariate and bivariate using chi square test using SPSS program. The results of bivariate analysis showed that the factor associated with the incidence of stroke was hypertension (OR= 5.74; 95% CI: 2.15 – 15.2). Although the absolute risk for maternal morbidity and mortality is low, pregnancy remains a risk factor for hospitalization, ICU admission, and COVID-19-related extracorporeal membrane oxygenation requirements compared to nonpregnancy. Protection of pregnant women from SARS-CoV-2 infection is very important to reduce maternal morbidity and mortality. Vaccination is the most promising method to control the spread of COVID-19. This descriptive study aims to determine the description of pregnant women who are vaccinated against covid-19, with the population who perform pregnancy checks at the Gayaman Health Center, Data collection was carried out in April 2022, using a questionnaire that was given directly to respondents and still complied with health protocols. Sampling by total sampling where 36 pregnant women were obtained who did prenatal check-ups and completed the questionnaire. The results of the study Most of the respondents had received the covid-19 vaccine, namely 31 respondents (86.11%). The purpose of this study was to determine the antioxidant activity of telang leaf extract by looking at the IC50 value. Telang leaves were extracted by the maceration method using ethanol solvent. The antioxidant activity test was determined by the DPPH method (1,1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl) with a vitamin C comparator that has been proven to have a very effective free radical potential. This study was an unobstrusive measure research with the unit of analysis in this study were all pregnant, childbirth and postpartum women that spread accros 38 districts in East Java Province during 2020. Data were analyzed using Geographically Weighted Regression. The results showed that maternal mortality in the province of East Java had a spreading pattern, thus indicating a spatial influence. The variables of childbirth services by health personnel and antenatal care had a significant effect on maternal mortality. There are 5 groups of districts that show a similarity of significant factors.
