Two transport cascade models, UrQMD and \u0000QGSM, are employed. These models use different mechanisms of the string \u0000excitation and string fragmentation. Despite of the differences, \u0000directed flows of charged pions and charged kaons in both models remain \u0000antiflow-oriented with reduction of the collision energy from $sqrt{s} \u0000= 11.5$~GeV to 3.5~GeV. In contrast, the directed flow of protons \u0000changes its sign from antiflow to normal flow within the investigated \u0000energy interval. Both models favor continuous non-uniform emittence of \u0000hadrons from the expanding fireball rather than sharp, or sudden, \u0000freeze-out picture adopted by majority of hydrodynamic models. We found \u0000that the earlier frozen hadrons carry the strongest directed flow at \u0000midrapidity, although the flow development even at $|y| leq 0.5$ takes \u0000about 8-12~fm/$c$ for different hadron species.
Proceedings of Corfu Summer Institute 2018 "School and Workshops on Elementary Particle Physics and Gravity" — PoS(CORFU2018)

Vector Boson Scattering: status and prospects 矢量玻色子散射:现状与展望

Govoni
The scattering of vector bosons (VBS) happens at the Large Hadron Collider when, in a proton collision, two vector bosons radiate from the interacting quarks and scatter. The VBS process is of great interest because of its intimate relationship with the foundations of the Standard Model of the fundamental interactions, since its unitarity is granted by the EW symmetry breaking. Therefore studying the VBS gives access to the EWSB in an orthogonal way with respect to the Higgs boson physics. Despite being among the rarest processes studied so far, the first results have already been published by the ATLAS and CMS Collaborations, triggering the experimental and theory communities in adding more final states on the measurement side, and pursuing more precision on the theory one. On the long term, the high-luminosity LHC will deliver a dataset of unprecendented size, that will allow to fully exploit the VBS topology, which is nowadays still fully dominated by the statistical uncertainties.
Proceedings of Corfu Summer Institute 2018 "School and Workshops on Elementary Particle Physics and Gravity" — PoS(CORFU2018)

Search for phenomena other than motivated by mainstream supersymmetry is commonly referred to as exotica. Analyses directly related to search for dark matter particles was scheduled for other talks. What remains could be subdivided into searches for promptly decaying particles and for long lived once. Few representative examples of such analyses finished by ATLAS and CMS collaboration by the summer of 2018 are presented. No significant excess of signal event over predicted background was found in any analysis. More and more stringent exclusion limits are presented.
Proceedings of Corfu Summer Institute 2018 "School and Workshops on Elementary Particle Physics and Gravity" — PoS(CORFU2018)

We argue that the relation between finite-size scaling in configuration space and intermittency in momentum space is a valuable tool for the detection of the QCD critical point in ion collisions. We find that the critical region is very narrow along both chemical potential ($mu$) and temperature ($T$) directions supporting that wide ranged beam energy scans with fixed size nuclei are unlikely to reach the critical region. Furthermore, we present a systematic procedure leading to the detection of the critical point through combined measurements of intermittency indices and freeze-out thermodynamic parameters $(mu,T)$ for protons. Exploiting previous NA49 measurement of the intermittency index $phi_2$ and the freeze-out parameters $(mu,T)$ for protons produced in central Si+"Si" collision at $158$A GeV we predict the approach to the critical point in peripheral Ar+Sc collisions of the NA61/SHINE experiment at maximum SPS (CERN) energy.
Proceedings of Corfu Summer Institute 2018 "School and Workshops on Elementary Particle Physics and Gravity" — PoS(CORFU2018)

The case of dark relics decaying either in a dark sector or via some tiny visible branching ratio into visible form are reviewed. We place the critical point in the chemical potential range covered by the second Beam Energy Scan (BESII) at the Relativistic Heavy Ion Collider (RHIC).
